Under the Woods Event Center

hey had available, and after we took our personal decor out they took care of everything else at the end of the night. The grounds were gorgeous as well and made for some great photos! They also reassured us after the wedding that we were welcome back for any other events or even just to take photos on the grounds. They definitely made booking the venue one of the least stressful parts of planning, we highly recommend!

is truly special. The owners are also gracious and very easy to work with.  We would give them more than 5 stars if we could.

tarted folding chairs up at 7:30, they claim they did this because my mom was picking up trash and a few other things that i had asked her to but yet they never checked with us (the contract holders) if it was okay to pick up early so i asked them to stop. The two gentleman stop but then the venue owner Janet comes out and starts stanching things off the table I asked her if she was picking up and she very rudely said “I’m picking up just my stuff” i walked away while i double checked our contract which does also include the rentals for the entire duration of the venue rental. As I’m talking to my parents about the situation my husband and son do an auction for dances they decided they wanted to do me so i decided to run around the back of the patio, my son chased me and had the microphone in his hand, (they heard this on the speaker as both owners their friend and a teenage girl were all in the kitchen area and while they also helped themselves to our champagne,) the owner came out and snatched the microphone from my son without saying a word to me and proceeded to shove it in my husband face and tell him it’s a $400 piece and equipment so he needed to quit with the kids my husband told him we didn’t even want it anymore it was fine and he tossed it at him yet he was so worried the kids would break it? We tried to have a conversation with them at this point where they proceeded to tell me they had an event at 7 am so we could just clean up on our own if we wanted to be that way, she said the clean up that is clearly stated as an exact time on the contract is suggested not a guaranteed time, she said they do all the clean up not me so why do i care they did it early, they said they didn’t know it was my kid or they wouldn’t have snatched it he also later claimed to my husband who also saw him through the window he didn’t take it from my kid and that they were unsupervised when i was standing with them. Janet started getting very angry and ridiculous so my dad and i end the conversation . They did not apologize or try to make it right they dug in that they are right and i was wrong.The venue owners and helpers were extremely disrespectful after the discussion which was at 8:45, they treated our family poorly while shuttling back down the hill and during clean up, they were rude to our bartender, and they had both their dogs and a cat at our wedding the entire time. There are several other beautiful venues in the area that i would definitely recommend over this one.
