When I first was looking to plan our honeymoon, I loved that I could specifically search for the type of honeymoon/trip that I wanted (all inclusive, romantic & luxurious, some type of pool or soaking tub on our balcony, spa, enough to do where we don't have to leave the resort, etc.). Once I picked a place and connected with Renee, she actually recommended that we go somewhere else because she said it hits all of the marks of what we wanted and we can get more for our money, and OH MY GOODNESS was she right. I am so incredibly grateful for her because without her and the company, I wouldn't have been able to experience the honeymoon that I've dreamt about since I was a little girl! We somehow paid less than LESS THAN HALF of what we should've paid to stay in the most amazing suites. We stayed in two suites, and for half of our trip Renee somehow managed to book us the PENTHOUSE!! She stayed within our budget and she was so excited for us when we were booking. I can't express enough how perfect everything was, and how blown away I am by our entire experience; it almost seems like it was too good to be true! Leading up to leaving for our honeymooon, Renee talked with us for probably 45 minutes prepping us for the trip. She gave us a packing list, which was SO useful, and gave us instructions and tips for moving through the airport, scheduling our airport transportation, eating food, planning activities, etc.. Outside of getting an amazing deal at a beautiful and luxurious resort, we wouldn't have had such a perfect honeymoon if it weren't for Renee prepping us for our trip about 1-2 weeks before. I could go ON AND ON about this company and Renee, and I have been telling everyone I know that they need to use this company for honeymoons, anniversaries, etc. because it is so beyond worth it. I actually think it would be crazy to not book through them if you are considering it because I really don't think you can get a better deal in every sense anywhere else!

The concierge service was impeccable, helping us plan excursions to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Capri: Our private boat tour around the island was an absolute highlight. we first started planning our trip, we didn't know where to begin, and Renee was able to provide so much guidance from hotels to areas of town to activities, it was invaluable information. This was our first time using a travel agent, but with so much of our free time going into planning a wedding, it was so nice to know that Renee had our honeymoon planning covered. She listened to our budget, our priorities, and our preferences, and she found incredible resorts that checked all of our boxes. The activities that she organized were so unique and significantly exceeded our expectations. It was also so comforting to know that if anything came up while we were there, she had contacts in Thailand that could help us resolve any issue (though none came up). I appreciated that she took the time to have a few phone calls with us during the planning process to make sure we were all on the same page. The food and the views, delicious and beautiful. We felt like we were in another world. Secrets Papagayo - Nayara Gardens What about the destination(s) in general? Secrets Papagayo was super relaxing. We loved having it be an all inclusive resort so we could do activities at the resort and have tons of romantic meals together. Our room had a beautiful panoramic view of the water. Nayara Gardens was absolutely amazing! We loved all the exotic views of the resort, especially our rainforest villa with our own hot spring and view of the volcano! We enjoyed how the plants around our villa made it private. This resort had a lot of wildlife there as well! The least? Secrets Papagayo - the resort is on a hilly mountain so we couldn't walk to and from our room, we had to call a van to come and take us to the activities and our meals. Nayara Gardens - Nothing Highlight of the honeymoon? ( please tell us about any excursions/day trips?) Secrets Papagayo was more of our relaxing resort - we went snorkeling, did some crafts, ate, couples massage, nightly shows Nayara Gardens was relaxing and where we had all of our excursions. We went zip lining in the jungle (the volcano was on one side and Lake Arenal on the other side), horseback riding in the jungle (near the volcano and Lake Arneal), hiking in the jungle to a beautiful waterfall (private tour guide was so nice, he stopped various times on our way there to get out of the car and show us wildlife [a family of howling monkeys, toucans, parrots, vultures, viper in the jungle]), couples massage, hot springs, we hired a professional photographer who took amazing pictures of us, romantic meals

It was the trip of a lifetime and we will never forget it. She helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, as well as excursions. She gave us lots of helpful tips and advice, even a packing list! She answered every single question we had and made sure we were prepared. There was not one time during our trip that I thought to myself - man I wish I would have thought of that - because Renee thought of everything for us! We are so appreciative of her services. We could not have asked for a better honeymoon.

I was nervous planning a trip of this scale but she helped walk through all our options from resort and hotel options, to activities, to where to eat, and even flights. However, during this time, the pandemic had started and COVID-19 was ramping up. Hawaii was closing a majority of its travel to tourist and at that time, like many others, we were not sure where the pandemic would lead. She advised us it would be best to wait on committing to a trip no one was certain we may be able to take. My husband and I appreciated this honesty, that she was genuine and helped us in a time she could have helped her own quota. After monitoring the news and CDC for a few more months, my husband and I decided that our big trip to Hawaii should probably wait until the pandemic subsided more. We decided to take a smaller honeymoon to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Lauri, helped us plan an entire new honeymoon and recommended an immaculate all-inclusive, adults only resort and spa. It was perfect. We had the most amazing time being pampered as VIP/Honeymoon guest, that Lauri specifically notated when booking our room. She arranged our flights and sent us links to all the information that we needed to ensure seamless travel between DR and the US. Even with additional regulations due to COVID, she made sure we had everything we needed to ensure safe, and easy travel. Lauri helped us plan the perfect Honeymoon and she made everything so easy. I think one of the things I appreciated most was having peace of mind, that if anything did go wrong I could call Unforgettable Honeymoon, day or night, and they could help resolve any issues we were having. Especially during a pandemic, this reduced a great deal of stress on my part and let me relax and enjoy my trip even more. We are hoping that for our 1 year anniversary in 2022, we will finally be able to make it to Hawaii. Lauri will be the first person I call to begin our process!

Things got really tricky when dealing with passport arrival delays and flight cancellations, but she was able to adjust our itinerary slightly to make it work out in the end! The resort itself was so serene and beautiful, it honestly was a dream come true. Between the unreal views with a private plunge pool, extremely friendly and welcoming staff, and the amazing food and drinks (which was all-inclusive), we cannot talk highly enough about our trip. We also received a complimentary dinner on the beach which was a fun experience! We will definitely recommend using Unforgettable Honeymoons to our friends and family, and hope to use them again for anniversary trips!

Our honeymoon was set for March directly following our wedding but was unfortunately pushed to July and Maryann really helped to take on the stress during that time and made the shift effortless on our part! We had the most unbelievable time in Cancun, Mexico and will definitely be planning to return for an anniversary trip!

moon. Since our honeymoon was in December, plane tickets to other destination were outrageous. Once I told Leah that we were open to Mexico, her first and only recommendation was Unico. With us a high recommendation, we immediately booked out honeymoon. It was the best decision ever. From the moment we arrived, we were left in awe. The entrance is very discreet but once you enter the lobby, you see the how amazing Unico is. It has such a small boutique feel to it. We went on an excursion and stopped by the Hard Rock to pick up other people. It looked very commercialized. The amenities and the staff at Unico are GREAT! Very attentive and very welcoming. The food at all of the restaurants and even buffets was excellent as well. Overall, it was an amazing honeymoon. We will definitely consider returning to Unico in the future. We got married in March 2018 and my husband first reached out to Unforgettable Honeymoons in November 2017 to begin planning our Italian honeymoon (originally scheduled for June 2018). He was put in contact with Maryann, who was extremely warm and helpful from the start. Unfortunately, the wedding planning took over our schedules and we did not reach back out to Maryann until after we got married in April 2018. She remembered us and wanted to help, but she did let us know that many of the hotels they prefer to work with have already been booked up and that flights were pricier than usual due to high season and the fact that we were booking so close to leaving. After heavy deliberation, we decided to wait a year. Even after researching many options for us and guiding us through our decision making process, Maryann understood and told us to reach back out when we’re ready to go. We finally contacted Maryann in January 2019, ready to book our honeymoon to Italy for June 2019. We told her our budget and she came back with a price even slightly under budget. We told her where we wanted to go and for how many nights in each location, and she handled the rest. Our trip included airfare to Florence from Miami, a private transfer from Florence airport to our hotel, 3 nights at a beautiful hotel in Florence that was a 5 minute walk to the Duomo, 2 nights in a swanky bouquet hotel in Ancient Rome, private transfer from the Naples train station to our GORGEOUS hotel on the Bay of Naples in Sorrento for a 4-night stay to end the trip, private transfer to the Naples airport, and our airfare back to Miami. There were no long layovers and our drivers were always there waiting for us upon arrival. Two of the three hotels also had champagne waiting for us in our room when we checked in. Every hotel was unique in its own way, but the best part of each hotel was its location. We stayed in great, walkable areas in each city. During the planning process, Maryann also gave us 2 hotel options in each city and let us look them up to decide which we would prefer. We felt totally part of the decision making process, but also not overwhelmed by having to plan this trip on our own. I would highly highly recommend booking with Unforgettable Honeymoons. We were sent an anniversary certificate and we can’t wait to book another trip with them knowing that it’ll be stress free and wonderful. Sandals definitely had the benefit of being all inclusive and lots of options for restaurants and plenty of places to relax (the Japanese restaurant was our favorite and we also really enjoyed Gordon’s on the pier). The second half of our honeymoon we spent Calabash cove was awesome- totally different experience and so worth it, the intimate feel of the hotel and The gorgeous location and view, not enough words to describe it! There are not enough superb things we could say about the level of service we received (we even got to meet the owner who was also great and so welcome) I would recommend Calabash to anyone going to St. Lucia. The staff was amazing, i cant say that enough, in the few short days we were there we became friendly with them and they made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The smaller feel hotel was awesome, and that swim up room, just awesome!
