We had the joy of celebrating our wedding on May 31, 2025, at Union Church of Pocantico Hills in Tarrytown, NY, and it was nothing short of magical. With just 40 of our closest family and friends in attendance, we wanted something meaningful, intimate, and beautiful — and this venue delivered that and so much more.
From the very beginning, Natasha, the church’s event coordinator, was an absolute blessing. Planning a wedding on a relatively short timeline (as a couple in our 40s, we knew what we wanted!) could have been stressful, but Natasha’s calm, kind, and incredibly efficient guidance made everything feel smooth and joyful. She was always responsive, organized, and thoughtful in every detail.
The church itself is breathtaking — the stained glass windows by Chagall and Matisse created an unforgettable, ethereal atmosphere that moved everyone in the room. The sermon delivered by the Reverend was heartfelt and inspiring, perfectly setting the tone for a celebration rooted in love, faith, and joy.
Our guests have not stopped talking about the reception. Many told us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The live band added energy and warmth without ever being too loud — the music was vibrant and joyful, yet everyone could still have conversations and connect during dinner.
Everything about the day was just right: simple, meaningful, elegant, and full of heart. Union Church of Pocantico Hills gave us the perfect setting to celebrate our love, and we will be forever grateful. If you're looking for a place that blends beauty, history, and a sense of sacred celebration, this is it.
We had our wedding here recently and could not have been more pleased. The building, Chagall windows and grounds are stunning. It's an intimate setting on a beautiful wooded lot and in proximity to many hotels and other amenities. Natasha assisted us in coordinating and managing the details and was able to provide suggestions for vendors as we live out - of - state.
Our guests couldn't stop talking about how lovely the whole day was and the venue. We were also able to have the convenience of continuing with the reception on - site. Natasha even facilitated a child care provider to entertain our grandkids. It was a perfect day!

Its vibrant windows were commissioned by the Rockefeller family and crafted by European masters. This gorgeous country style church will provide a breathtaking backdrop ideal for your wedding.
Union Church of Pocantico Hills features Henri Matisse’s last work, the Rose Window, and nine windows by Marc Chagall. When the sunlight shines through the striking glass artwork, it creates a mystical ambiance brimming with color, light, and spirituality. Tall ceilings with exposed wooden beams and archways allow for mesmerizing acoustics as your wedding music plays in the Sanctuary and your band or DJ starts the dance in the Reception Hall. This remarkable venue will provide a truly magical atmosphere as you leap into your new marital adventure.
As a non-denominational church, we believe love is the universal language uniting us all. Our church welcomes all couples regardless of religious background, gender or belief. Here, you don't need to be a member to celebrate your union in a setting steeped in history and artistry.

I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way. With my knowledge and experience in event planning I will handle the logistical detials of your ceremony and reception so you and your guests can enjoy this very special day of your life. At your Rehearsal & Ceremony, I will be choregraphing the moving parts, ensuring that even the most hesitant flower child or ring bearer will not only particpate but will enjoy the moment. I will work with your selected florist to prepare the Sanctuary space, greet and direct your guests, escort you, your wedding party to the waiting areas and cue the procession. I am with you from the day you say "yes" to us and manage the Rehearsal, Ceremony, Reception and any additonal events you may choose to book at our venue. I have lived in the neighboring town of Pleasantville for over 28 years and I would be happy to recommend nearby restaurants, hotels, vendors,etc. I look forward to being a small part of your big day.
