He is very versatile in his photos; we did outdoors, inside a big church, candid photos, and posed. All of them turned out great.
In addition, he got our 1400 wedding photos back in THREE DAYS. That is so unheard of. He edited many of them but also said he can edit more if we want!

ghing and he came to where we wanted and where we were comfortable. We chose a bookstore and a park. Mike spent time doing formal poses as well as capturing us as we are. We had over 200 images to pick from!
The day of our wedding Mike was with us the whole way, from an 830 am church ceremony to the 5pm formal ceremony and all the prep-work as well as post/partying. We were able to leverage his knowledge to set our timeline (we had no DJ or coordinator!)
We had our images back less than 10 days later with three sets of links for us, my parents, and his parents as well as a thumb drive of all 1000+images!
Mike has also offered to edit any images we want to blow up into wall art at no extra cost, he really wants us to be happy with our pictures of our important day.
Mike spent time getting to know us, and capturing who we are, laughing with us, celebrating with us, and made us feel like he was with us but not interfering with the day.
We intend to use Unique Moments Photography to capture any more life changes as well as any family portraits we want in the future. We had great rapport and I highly recommend them to anyone who has a photography need.

graphers all day for one flat price, and an engagement shoot included! For such a good price, we were initially a little worried they wouldn't be as cutting-edge and creative as some of the expensive, fresh-out-of-school photographers claim to be, but boy were we wrong. They were so creative, fun, professional, experienced, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We ended up with a perfect mix of posed, candid, and original shots, and they even knew exactly how to recreate my Pinterest favorites. Mike was with me all day. From "getting ready" pictures in the morning to sunset and dancing photos, he was my trusted sidekick. He knew exactly how to get the most flattering angles, brought out the joy and excitement in my friends and family, and coached us so well through various poses. I was overjoyed to see how excited he was to work with our horses too! And I haven't even mentioned the engagement shoot. Mike went above and beyond, pre-touring our desired location well in advance to scope out the best spots for various photos. He was also very flexible and accommodating when we brought props to play with! Once everything was said and done, he uploaded "sneak previews" to Facebook right away for everyone to enjoy. We received so many compliments from friends, family and co-workers saying how much they loved our pictures. Even our photographer friends raved about how great a job Mike and Dorothy did! I could go on and on. As with all weddings, there were mishaps at ours, but I can honestly and whole-heartedly say that our experience with UM Photography was flawless and I wouldn't change a single thing about our time with them. an amazing job with accommodating our wants and needs. We did find out a few month after booking that they would be relocating to WA. They let us know that Mike would be still be photographing their 2014 weddings in MN, so we were put at ease knowing that. Mike kept in touch with us in the months leading up to our big day, which was great. As all you brides know the last couple month prior to the wedding can be a little hectic making sure everything is on track. The day of our wedding Mike showed up at the salon at 9am and stayed into the dance. It was such a relief knowing that we had a photographer for the full day and did not have to stress about what time it was and if we were going to go over our limit and be charged extra. I do wish we had allowed more time for our wedding party pictures, I felt like we did not get the poses we wanted due to being crunched on time. We were also going to take pictures at sun set but that did not happen. Overall we felt that Mike did a wonderful job taking the pictures and got some beautiful shots. We would definitely recommend Unique Moments to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer.

Mike and Karen are highly accommodating, making themselves available all day (unlimited hours for no extra cost) and unlimited locations. They also came to our venue when we had the taste testing to map out there different places where we wanted to get pictures taking on our special day.
They took over 1500 pictures on our wedding day which they had to us within a few days after the wedding. They also put together a video that they posted less than a week after the wedding. We received lots of compliments on the videos and pictures.
They also provided extra discs of the pictures for our parents along with the rights to the photo's so we can print wherever we want. In addition, they will print the photos for us at cost since they truly care about the value of their product/service and want to make sure that their clients have high quality photos.
My husband does photography on the side and was thrilled to be working with them. He really enjoyed their work. Mike and Karen were great people to work with and they did an amazing job. We could not have been more pleased with the results! Thank you Mike and Karen!
