ut of the 90 of us I believe each of us give them a one star. Literally did not want to lift a finger for our group. The bride and groom were not given any special treatment And they should have gone out of their way to make sure their room was spectacular and filled with goodies. For goodness sake us was an all inclusive it would not have cost a thing. It just would’ve shown what an amazing duo They were. Instead they proved just how little they were willing to do! There were a few emergencies And When our guests reached out Patti and Kristin were completely useless. They just wanted to make money but were not interested in having happy customers. Many of our guests on their own businesses and are very successful and just cannot believe how poor their customer service was and is. I don’t know much about unique romance travel and destination weddings but I’m guessing this is a franchise and maybe there’s other offices that are better. Patti and Kristin are in California. Please beware!
Danielle was an exceptional travel agent! We were concerned with having a destination wedding that our guests would be very confused on travel guidelines, booking our group rate rooms, travel from airports in another country, covid restrictions...
and so much more. Danielle was the answer to our dreams! Not only did she handle all of that. She even reached out to my wedding coordinators when they were taking a little too long for a response and got everything handled. The sense of relief and calmness I felt for my guests to travel to a different country during a pandemic was so minimal thanks to her! I would recommend unique romance and adventure travel agents to anyone who wants to hear how successful my wedding was!! Cheers to many more years with this great company and Danielle. :)
The overall trip was good, travel information was sent to us prior to leaving and what to expect upon arriving in Cancun. The pickup and return to the airport went smoothly.

oose the deal for a 1 bedroom penthouse room, and upon arrival no double bed. Called the front desk and was only told if we wanted to upgrade and pay more. Well the penthouse room was ok, timeshare room. My son had to sleep on a sofa bed, very bad! Would have expected Unique travel to let us know what the rooms would be in advance. We stayed at The Fives Azul Beach Resort Playa del Carmen. Overall hotel experience was good.

r the bedding situation at any hotel. It is based on what is available at time of checkin, and if there is not the bedding arrangement that we requested for you, that simply means that in the category that you were booked in, they were sold out. It is very important to us that we try our utmost best to keep our rating a 5 star, which means our clients had a fabulous time, so I am truly sorry that the bedding situation hindered your review.

She communicated with us consistently and was incredibly flexible and helpful with some last minute changes our guests had. Using Heather took so much of the stress we may have otherwise faced when planning wedding travel. She also coordinated all of transportation to and from the airport for our guests. Dorado Royale! She helped us book the rooms and then helped each of our guests book their rooms! She put us in touch with our onsite wedding coordinator who proceeded to help us with everything wedding related! Carla stayed in contact with us the entire time and helped if we needed faster responses from our wedding coordinator. They then hooked us up with an amazing transfer in a Cadillac Escalade both ways! I would absolutely recommend Carla and Dave! We will definitely be using them in the future for travel arrangements!

Julie's knowledge and experience in the Mexican Riviera and Yucatan is outstanding. Our wedding was held at Secrets Akumal with over 50+ guests. She helped us narrow down the list of resorts we were looking at to the El Dorado Royale thanks to her in depth knowledge and personal experience with the resorts and we could not have been more happy with the resort we chose . Carla took care of all the contract negotiations with the resort which was a huge weight off my shoulders. She designed a beautiful website for us with all the information our guests needed to make their room selections and room reservations. She handled all of the room bookings for our guests and took care of the transfer arrangements for everyone as well. LOOK ELSEWHERE.. while planning my destination wedding, the only stressful part of the whole planning process was Unique Romance!! First, Carla outright gave the wrong information (a.k.a.) lied to me as well as my guests on several different o...
ccassions. I know as the incorrect information she provided was corrected by the resort where I had my wedding. She was unwilling to help to secure lower prices - when I found prices for my wedding resort online (exactly the same, but MUCH cheaper), told me she that including flights with rooms was not "part of her job", and outright never communicated with me at ALL unless I reached out to her. In the end, I ended up doing much of what I expected Carla to do (room rates, hotel transfers, etc.) for myself and my guests. The only answer I ever got as to why she was "unable to secure a better price" was due to the resort, which after all of the down right lies she has told, I don't believe for one second. The entire experience with Unique Romance was awful and if you are thinking of using a travel agent, I would recommend looking elsewhere - or just do it yourself. Save yourself the stress and aggravation!

y couples, with the personal private wedding website, negotiating the best contract at the time of signing and responding to all emails in a timely manner. Unfortunately, I tried multiple times to reach you without any luck, and I tried to take consideration of your families advice not to bother you with details.
We signed a contract together with the best rates that the resort would give us for the date desired. We were bound by that contract, and I truly tried 3 different times with the resort to get the rates lowered as was told "WE (the resort) run specials at different times, and we cannot price match all the different specials that we run for a week or so at a time". We signed a contract for the agreed upon rates, and they hold us to our written contract" I have no control over what they will or will not do, but I promise you that I did try on your behalf.
As far as not doing airfare, and as we discussed, I could not get a discount, as we had a group contract on the rooms, this was no lie. Deceit is not part of my business. The perfect wedding is.
I am very happy that you had a beautiful wedding, and everything went exactly as you had planned.

We used Carla with unique romance with planning our destination wedding to Cancun Mexico. It was a very positive experience from the beginning. Carla always answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with planning a destination wedding....
My guests mentioned many times, how easy she made it to book their rooms for our wedding. We had 16 people attend our wedding and there were no glitches at all. All of our rooms were excellent and exactly what we expected. I plan on using Carla and unique romance again to book a trip back soon!

l weddings. Working with Carla was a breeze, she was always quick to respond and would let us know in advance if she would be out of town/when she wouldn’t be available. We met with Carla in person once but the rest was over phone or email which worked well with our schedule. Carla helped to secure the best group rate and extra benefits for the wedding and took care of us and our 60 guests making sure all their deposits/room contract/and transfers were in and correct. This was a HUGE relief otherwise my husband and I would have had to take over that role and it is something extra you don’t want to do deal with while planning a wedding! She also helped contact the resort with little hiccups that came up along the way with my guests. We couldn’t have been happier with the resort we ended up choosing and had an amazing wedding! I would definitely recommend Carla and Unique Romance for your wedding/honeymoon/or any other vacation.

a trip to Bora Bora, with our two boys, for our 21st anniversary. She was very knowledgeable and she presented us with a couple of recommendations that we couldn't resist.
We couldn't have had a more perfect vacation. The hotel was luxurious, the flight plans were well thought out. The travel alert app she provided was spot on in informing us of gate changes and minor delays. Welcoming garland at Papeete, Tahiti, airport was a pleasant surprise. Excursions she recommended were all incredible experiences. Her relationship with the resort landed us in an amazing over-water bungalow and I could keep on going....
