Patti and Kristin did the absolute minimum. They refused to do any scheduling over the phone. We had a group of 90 people going to Punta Cana and although the resort we chose was great Patti and Kristin did almost nothing to make it that way. Out of the 90 of us I believe each of us give them a one star. Literally did not want to lift a finger for our group. The bride and groom were not given any special treatment And they should have gone out of their way to make sure their room was spectacular and filled with goodies. For goodness sake us was an all inclusive it would not have cost a thing. It just would’ve shown what an amazing duo They were. Instead they proved just how little they were willing to do! There were a few emergencies And When our guests reached out Patti and Kristin were completely useless. They just wanted to make money but were not interested in having happy customers. Many of our guests on their own businesses and are very successful and just cannot believe how poor their customer service was and is. I don’t know much about unique romance travel and destination weddings but I’m guessing this is a franchise and maybe there’s other offices that are better. Patti and Kristin are in California. Please beware!

Danielle was an exceptional travel agent! We were concerned with having a destination wedding that our guests would be very confused on travel guidelines, booking our group rate rooms, travel from airports in another country, covid restrictions and so much more. Danielle was the answer to our dreams! Not only did she handle all of that. She even reached out to my wedding coordinators when they were taking a little too long for a response and got everything handled. The sense of relief and calmness I felt for my guests to travel to a different country during a pandemic was so minimal thanks to her! I would recommend unique romance and adventure travel agents to anyone who wants to hear how successful my wedding was!! Cheers to many more years with this great company and Danielle. :)

The overall trip was good, travel information was sent to us prior to leaving and what to expect upon arriving in Cancun. The pickup and return to the airport went smoothly. Why the 3 stars, we requested a queen bed and double bed, yes we choose the deal for a 1 bedroom penthouse room, and upon arrival no double bed. Called the front desk and was only told if we wanted to upgrade and pay more. Well the penthouse room was ok, timeshare room. My son had to sleep on a sofa bed, very bad! Would have expected Unique travel to let us know what the rooms would be in advance. We stayed at The Fives Azul Beach Resort Playa del Carmen. Overall hotel experience was good.

We worked with Heather Bannon to plan our destination wedding in Mexico. She was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. Heather was patient with me and always fully addressed any questions or concerns I had. She called me and explained the entire process: obtaining deposits and payments, the available promotions, and the appropriate deadlines. She communicated with us consistently and was incredibly flexible and helpful with some last minute changes our guests had. Using Heather took so much of the stress we may have otherwise faced when planning wedding travel. She also coordinated all of transportation to and from the airport for our guests. The whole process was flawless from start to finish. I highly recommend Heather and Unique Romance Travel to any and all future brides who want to plan their dream event. We enjoyed working with her so much that she is helping plan our Honeymoon trip next year!

Carla and Dave were amazing! They were so awesome to work with! We had a great conversation with them about what we wanted in a wedding venue and they were super helpful running prices for us on a number of places! We narrowed it down to El Dorado Royale! She helped us book the rooms and then helped each of our guests book their rooms! She put us in touch with our onsite wedding coordinator who proceeded to help us with everything wedding related! Carla stayed in contact with us the entire time and helped if we needed faster responses from our wedding coordinator. They then hooked us up with an amazing transfer in a Cadillac Escalade both ways! I would absolutely recommend Carla and Dave! We will definitely be using them in the future for travel arrangements!

We had Carla book a trip to Cancun, Mexico for us and within a week of coming home, we had her help us book our second trip (our honeymoon!) My husband and I had the most incredible honeymoon, thanks to Unique Romance Travel and our agent, Susie. Wedding planning and everything leading up to the big day was very, very stressful, but planning our honeymoon never was. Susie helped us choose a destination that was perfect for our budget and interests. We mentioned our love of cooking and food, and she found us a PERFECT resort that offered gourmet food, and even cooking classes. It was like a match made in heaven! Susie made sure that our entire experience was stress-free, from the airport/hotel transfers, to booking tours and everything in between. She was only a text away during our whole trip and answered every single questions we had about tipping locals, arranging transportation, and so much more. My husband and I have never been on such a relaxing trip. It was exactly what we needed after our wedding! Thank you Susie, and Unique Romance Travel! You're the best!!!

Julie went over and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a destination wedding or vacation. From the time we first spoke to the time we met, we immediately connected. Julie has incredible insight on things I wouldn't have thought about. She is professional and isn't afraid to go to bat for you! What I love the most about Julie is her honesty. She will be very upfront with you on everything. There are no blurred lines with her. Julie's knowledge and experience in the Mexican Riviera and Yucatan is outstanding. Our wedding was held at Secrets Akumal with over 50+ guests. She arranged every call, every email, and left the fun stuff up to us. She took all of the brunt of the questions, concerns, and confusions up with each one of our guests that needed her. She was on-call every time I had my own questions. Needless to say, BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

My husband and I found Unique Romance Travel by searching for excellent travel agents, and we are so lucky that we found them! Carla and Joanna planned an unforgettable Italy honeymoon for us and were willing to listen to all of our requests. They truly understood what we were looking for. From the hotels, to restaurant recommendations, to transportation services, I feel like they both had focused on all the details necessary to make this trip so amazing for us. I would highly recommend using them to plan any future vacations!

Our wedding in Mexico was everything I hoped it would be and so much more! Carla was absolutely fantastic to work with when planning our wedding in Mexico! After just a few minutest into our first conversation I knew she was a go getter and exactly who I was looking for. She helped us narrow down the list of resorts we were looking at to the El Dorado Royale thanks to her in depth knowledge and personal experience with the resorts and we could not have been more happy with the resort we chose . Carla took care of all the contract negotiations with the resort which was a huge weight off my shoulders. She designed a beautiful website for us with all the information our guests needed to make their room selections and room reservations. She handled all of the room bookings for our guests and took care of the transfer arrangements for everyone as well. Carla is always friendly, very responsive and went above and beyond to help us and all of our guests with every question and request we brought to her. I could not have planned my wedding without Carla's help and I highly recommend her and Unique Romance Travel to anyone who wants to plan a destination wedding.

LOOK ELSEWHERE.. while planning my destination wedding, the only stressful part of the whole planning process was Unique Romance!! First, Carla outright gave the wrong information (a.k.a.) lied to me as well as my guests on several different occassions. I know as the incorrect information she provided was corrected by the resort where I had my wedding. She was unwilling to help to secure lower prices - when I found prices for my wedding resort online (exactly the same, but MUCH cheaper), told me she that including flights with rooms was not "part of her job", and outright never communicated with me at ALL unless I reached out to her. In the end, I ended up doing much of what I expected Carla to do (room rates, hotel transfers, etc.) for myself and my guests. The only answer I ever got as to why she was "unable to secure a better price" was due to the resort, which after all of the down right lies she has told, I don't believe for one second. The entire experience with Unique Romance was awful and if you are thinking of using a travel agent, I would recommend looking elsewhere - or just do it yourself. Save yourself the stress and aggravation!

My honeymoon was so easy to plan and everything went great! I told them what my hotel preferences were and they did the rest! Flight, hotel, train, and tours were all setup and ready for us! Thank you Unique Romance Travel! Definitely a romantic honeymoon!!

We used Carla with unique romance with planning our destination wedding to Cancun Mexico. It was a very positive experience from the beginning. Carla always answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with planning a destination wedding. My guests mentioned many times, how easy she made it to book their rooms for our wedding. We had 16 people attend our wedding and there were no glitches at all. All of our rooms were excellent and exactly what we expected. I plan on using Carla and unique romance again to book a trip back soon!

We used Carla and Unique Romance when planning our destination wedding to Mexico. From the beginning, Carla worked with us to find the perfect area and resort that met our financial needs but still would give a good group rate and have beautiful weddings. Working with Carla was a breeze, she was always quick to respond and would let us know in advance if she would be out of town/when she wouldn’t be available. We met with Carla in person once but the rest was over phone or email which worked well with our schedule. Carla helped to secure the best group rate and extra benefits for the wedding and took care of us and our 60 guests making sure all their deposits/room contract/and transfers were in and correct. This was a HUGE relief otherwise my husband and I would have had to take over that role and it is something extra you don’t want to do deal with while planning a wedding! She also helped contact the resort with little hiccups that came up along the way with my guests. We couldn’t have been happier with the resort we ended up choosing and had an amazing wedding! I would definitely recommend Carla and Unique Romance for your wedding/honeymoon/or any other vacation.

Carla is the BEST! She made sure everything we wanted was taken care of for our 27th wedding anniversary. With any questions we had she was very prompt getting back with me. The resort she chose was AWESOME, the beaches were AWESOME and location, AWESOME! Carla knows the travel business very well. Do not hesitate to use her for your next vacation!

(21st Wedding Anniversary) I met Carla, very briefly, through a mutual friend. She had a very personable and genuine presence. I knew instantly when I'm ready for a "big" vacation, I'll be calling her. I finally called her inquiring about a trip to Bora Bora, with our two boys, for our 21st anniversary. She was very knowledgeable and she presented us with a couple of recommendations that we couldn't resist. We couldn't have had a more perfect vacation. The hotel was luxurious, the flight plans were well thought out. The travel alert app she provided was spot on in informing us of gate changes and minor delays. Welcoming garland at Papeete, Tahiti, airport was a pleasant surprise. Excursions she recommended were all incredible experiences. Her relationship with the resort landed us in an amazing over-water bungalow and I could keep on going.... Thank you Carla Schipper! We had an Absolutely Amazing Vacation and we can't wait to book our next adventure with you!
