on Smith knows how to read a room is all I can say! From our initial phone conversation 2 years ago, I knew from Jon's whole tone, energy, and demeanor that I wanted to hire him. We had also asked if he could help create a remix for our first dance song which he did without hesitation and so quickly! He also connected with our saxophonist before the wedding day to ensure music coordination for our cocktail hour went seamlessly and it did! Jon has such an awesome energy that emulates throughout the room while also remaining professional as a great MC throughout the whole wedding. He had our guests circle the dance floor for our first dance which was EPIC. One of my favorite parts of the wedding was when he played a game with our guests to get the dance floor going and I get the chills every time I think about it.... everyone and I mean everyone was up dancing (on chairs), waving napkins in the air, laughing, and having the best time! Multiple guests (who have been to a lot of weddings) said that Jon Smith was by far the best DJ that they have ever heard at a wedding- he truly knew how to read the room and get the party going… and it never stopped. Every song that was played was one of our favorites- truly never a dull moment! There wasn't a single point throughout the night that had less than 100 people on the floor! I could go on and on about Jon Smith, but safe to say- he was one of the biggest reasons that our wedding was as amazing as it was! Two words… HIRE HIM and you will not regret it- I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

Alex has this incredible ability to read the room and keep the energy exactly where it should be. He made the night seamless, fun, and truly unforgettable. As a bride, I felt like I had a lot of specific requests regarding timing of certain songs for the processional, recessional, first dances, etc. He exceeded my dreams. From ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and reception, it was truly immaculate. Our family and friends have not stopped raving about him and basically the unreal journey he took us all on through music. I also surprised my husband with a saxophonist who was completely unrelated to Alex & Unique Sounds, but they were an INSANE dynamic duo. They worked together SO WELL, which again speaks to Alex's talent. I was SO happy to have him in my corner all night - aside from the incredible music, he is so fun and great to be around. If you’re looking for a DJ, seriously, stop looking — Alex is the one. Thank you, Alex, for giving us a night we’ll never forget and keeping the party going from start to finish!

He did such a good job at handling the party so that we didn’t have to think about a thing and kept the dance floor BUMPING.
