We LOVE our wedding photos! Bekka and Joy photographed our wedding day and they did such a great job at capturing the moments we wanted and fitting into the fun atmosphere of our group! They even were willing to stop at a bar with us between the ceremony and reception to grab a group photo we wanted. I can't say enough good things about the both of them! We received our wedding photos back 4 weeks earlier than expected and can hardly find a bad one in the very large gallery :) It was sometimes difficult getting ahold of Shem throughout the planning process, but in the end we received the results we wanted and are very happy! Poor customer service/poor communication/your pictures will be late/very disappointed in our pictures-and we would not recommend booking with them. When we originally talked to Shem about taking our engagement pictures in October he told us this wasn’t his busy time so he would be able to get our pictures back within 4 weeks. We were excited because we thought we could get save the dates out for Christmas. After taking our engagement pictures Shem told us his family was taking a 4 week vacation. We were naive and thought we would still get our pictures within 4 weeks. We contacted Shem at 5 weeks and he told us standard processing time is 8-12 weeks. So at 11 weeks 6 days we contacted them again to see if we would be getting our pictures back on time and he said they were behind on pictures and ours might be late which was frustrating considering he told us it would only be 4 weeks when we were talking about booking with him. We were getting married during the pandemic (October 2020) we asked about what would happen if we would have to cancel our wedding due to a government shut down, and Shem told us to look in the contract. In the contract, it states if you have to cancel your wedding for any reason you’re out all of your money. So he was not going to be workable with us if it wasn’t our choice to cancel our wedding we were just going to be out the $3,300 dollars. Our wedding pictures were also very late. We had to ask to get our pictures back (at 13.5 weeks after our wedding) and then we were disappointed in what we received back. It appeared as if they put the same filter on every picture which turned the bridesmaid dresses red instead of purple. At first Shem claimed it was the lenses he used, and later on he claimed it was the camera itself that caused the color issues. One of our bridesmaids touched her flowers to her dress and it made a very obvious water mark on her chest, and they didn’t even try to edit it out. It appeared as if they didn’t do individual editing on our couples pictures because on my husbands shoulders there was face make-up and deodorant in a majority of the pictures. There were spacing issues, phones and hands in pockets, jackets that weren’t straight and things any normal photographer would point out and fix before taking group pictures. When you get your pictures back they will be separated into categories like bridesmaids, bridal party, couple, and family. When we asked Shem if they could fix the dress color on the pictures to turn the dresses back to the original purple color they only fixed the pictures in the bridesmaids folder. So the family pictures, and bridal party pictures were still red. When we contacted Shem again to ask him to finish correcting the pictures he ignored our two emails and voicemail. We notified Shem that we were going to seek legal action against him and he instantly replied to our emails stating “I did get the phone messages and emails, but in all honesty I ignored them.” He’s unprofessional to work with. It took a little under 19 weeks to get our “completed” pictures which meant an additional 16ish pictures we asked them to fix the color on instead of finishing all of our pictures. Our last thing we were frustrated with was the communication with Shem. We would text him, email him or call him and it would take multiple days to weeks for him to respond. Just totally unprofessional. *this review has nothing to do with Bekka. She took pictures of our wedding and was amazing!

We could not have been happier that we decided to go with Unique Touch Photography for our wedding! The pictures turned out amazing and they were a blast to work with. They captured our special day so perfectly!

This vendor is exceptional. Shem and Ian were so much fun while taking pictures at our wedding. Very creative style. They listen to what's important to you and plan accordingly. I highly recommend Unique Touch Photography. Tom F
