We did not want a traditional religious wedding ceremony and Fia was highly recommended to us by a mutual friend . We are so happy that we chose her! Our initial meeting with her was incredibly informative and she helped us go in a direction that was right for us. She listened to us and our story and then created a beautiful ceremony that was as intensely personal as it was light and fun. She encouraged us to make changes that reflected our personal style. On the day of the wedding, she helped us, our family and guests feel something special and unique. She is a beautiful storyteller and an engaging speaker, and in those 20 minutes everyone in the room felt connected to us and to her. It was magical! She was open to everything we wanted to include, had great suggestions for additions to our ideas, and had many resources for any aspect of the ceremony where we drew a blank. We were also planning our ceremony from another state and it was a breeze to work with Fia online. Our ceremony script was beautiful and personal. Fia graciously offered to help us develop our ceremony just 2 months out to our wedding when our original officiant fell ill. She was a joy to work with, very patient and was very open minded when it came to creating a ceremony that felt true to us. Fia was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She was extremely personable, patient and created a unique ceremony that catered to us as a couple and individually! We could not have been happier with having Alphia as the celebrant for our wedding in June, 2022. Right from the outset she made us incredibly comfortable, getting to know us over a series of meetings and was clear and specific about our timeline up to the wedding. She was enormously flexible and considerate in helping us realize the kind of ceremony we wanted and then shifting her outline and shaping it to us. Our ceremony ended up feeling both entirely ours, and had a huge stamp of the uplifting spirit of Alphia throughout. We’ve been to lots of weddings where the spiel from the celebrant feels forced (“The bride says they like this about the groom, …” etc), but Alphia’s ceremony was personal without being artificial. She was light and bright in parts of the ceremony, but then imbued the ceremony with a deep gravity around its key moments. This sense for the texture of the ceremony and varying the tone throughout was really beautiful and something we haven’t seen in celebrants at other weddings. Our guests all praised Alphia, saying that they hadn’t seen such a fluid, tender and appreciative ceremony before, with Alphia being entirely responsible for setting up a ceremony that could allow for all of this. We highly recommend Alphia and would be very happy to respond to anyone who wanted to reach out to us with any questions!

Fia conducted our civil ceremony in May of 2021, and we could not be more thrilled with the experience! Fia is a genuinely kind and caring person who supported our ideas and vision and offered suggestions based on her expertise. The information she provided was extremely helpful in organizing our ceremony. I can not say enough about her ability to effortlessly guide us through the entire process from pre-ceremony panning through submitting our marriage license. Fia was an absolutely wonderful officiant! As a couple, we were looking for just a simple signing with some personal touches, and she was very open to this. In our initial Zoom meeting, she was very kind, listened to what we were envisioning, learned about us, and provided some guidance as to how to proceed. Between the initial meeting and the signing, she was quick to communicate, sent over various ideas and resources to look at, and worked with us to create an outline that we were all happy with. On the day of the signing, she was incredibly flexible with some time changes and other last-minute decisions. Overall, she is very kind and intentional, even wearing colors that honored the cultures of both myself and my husband. Would highly recommend her to any couple!

Fia completely saved us during a really tough situation and put on the most beautiful ceremony! Our original officiant could no longer do our ceremony due to health issues, and Fia jumped in just 1 month before our wedding and spent the time getting to know us so she could help us put together the best ceremony possible. We had so many people walk up to us after the ceremony to tell us how special it was, and how great the officiant was. We owe so much to Fia, and if she has your date available we would HIGHLY recommend working with her!
