d fill up a space, sometimes more than renting physical decor or going all out in other aspects. And ULS know how to do it right!
For our wedding, we had a few distinct spaces: an outdoor rooftop terrace where we had our ceremony and left open for guests to socialize throughout the reception; an indoor space that held both our dance floor AND an art gallery, a challenging duality of high-energy and somewhat refined environments that needed to feel cohesive; and an after party space where we wanted to reflect the feeling of a karaoke lounge/noraebang.
It was a tall order, but ULS more than delivered. Each space was so distinct yet nothing felt jarring or out of place from the rest of the event.
Market lights gave the outdoor rooftop an air of romance and welcomed guests to take advantage of the summer breeze. Party lights and mirror balls danced with our guests, giving them the energy they needed to move all night. Uplights throughout, and especially in the art gallery, elevated the space (and kept us from having to default to using blinding, clinical house lights). And those same uplights in color transformed our after party floor into the vision we had of a karaoke lounge to end the night.
