The Wedgewood team did an incredible job with executing this wedding. No wedding comes without hiccups but the team at University Club really smoothed those hiccups over and made sure that everyone was satisfied with the outcome. Thank you to McKenna for being so understanding. Brooklyn was our day-of coordinator and she did a great job with making sure the little details were all in order to make sure that we felt special. She was so good to our friends and family and treated not only us, but also our friends and family with kindness. She went the extra mile to make sure that all the details were in order before we even arrived. Rodrigo was our DJ/MC and wow, he really knocked it out of the park. He was almost "too" good at his job and we regret not leaving the dance floor ALL NIGHT. He heard what we were looking for and he executed perfectly. Our photographer, Kali and her team with LMP absolutely slayed. She was always present and we can't wait to see our photos. All of our guests loved the braised short rib, salmon, scalloped potatoes so Hilario in the kitchen did an amazing job. Having Wedgewood to package food, drinks, photography, florals and decor was very helpful and made decision making much easier. The venue was beautiful and was everything we wanted!

ibly lucky to have her as their coordinator. From the moment we started working with her, Brianna's communication was outstanding. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, she kept us informed every step of the way, answered all of our questions promptly, and gave us complete confidence that everything would come together perfectly. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond in every possible way. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, handled every detail seamlessly, and always seemed to be one step ahead. Her calm, reassuring presence allowed us to truly enjoy our day without worrying about the logistics. A month before our wedding, I suffered an injury that left me wearing a boot on our wedding day, completely changing the vision I had for myself as a bride. Brianna eased so much of my anxiety by constantly reassuring me and reminding me that I was still the "baddest bride." Her positivity, humor, and ability to make us laugh helped us focus on what truly mattered and enjoy every moment despite the unexpected circumstances. What makes Brianna so special is that she doesn't just show up and do her job—she genuinely cares about her couples. She felt more like a friend than a vendor. She even stepped in during a makeup mishap to help save the day, proving she's not only an incredible coordinator but also an amazing problem-solver and an even better person. We are beyond grateful for everything Brianna did for us. She played such a huge role in making our wedding day unforgettable, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple getting married at Wedgewood.
We also had Rodrigo as our DJ, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. He kept the energy high all night, played every song we requested, and did an amazing job reading the crowd. During our planning meeting, he was easy to talk to, receptive to our ideas, and made us feel confident that the music would be exactly what we envisioned—and it was.
Tanna was our bartender, and she was fantastic. Our guests definitely enjoyed the open bar, and although there was a line at times, so many people commented on how quickly she kept it moving. She worked efficiently while still being friendly, and everyone had nothing but positive things to say about her service. Overall, the Wedgewood team helped make our wedding an incredible experience. We are so thankful for everyone who contributed to making our day so memorable.

The food was also great! So many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed their meals. On top of that, the entire staff was super helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Our coordinator Brianna made everything so easy during our planning sessions, and on the day of, she took care of us and was always attentive to our needs. Followed by Sebastian and Rodrigo, our captain and DJ, respectively, who continued the party and made it such a fun night for our family and friends. We also want to shout out our officiant Pastor Stan, Coty from Olivia's Mum Floral Design, Kali and Bella, photographers from LMP and Patty’s Cakes, who all played a huge part in making our wedding come to life! We went with the elite package because it meant all I needed to focus on was adding a personalized touch through decorations and little extras while the heavy lifting things like catering, bar, support staff, setup and breakdown service was in capable hands with the University Club team who guided me through the process.
The package also included services through their preferred vendors. We loved our 3-tier cake from The Couture Cakery and classic florals Olivia’s Mum. Rodrigo at Blue Heart really brought the party through cocktail hour and reception. To top it off, the elite package also included a spending allowance to the Wedgewood web-store where we ordered beautiful invitations, personalized envelopes and stamps, programs, a cake topper, and some his&her merch!
The university club team is professional and attentive, always available to answer my questions through text, phone, and email. Whether I needed dance floor dimensions or vendor suggestions, they always provided expert support.
Regular scheduled meetings and timelines helped us prepare for our special day and feel completely taken care of.
We are so lucky to have worked with Lisa from the very beginning and have her support throughout the planning process and lead our special day. I have to share a special thanks to Brianna from the sales team who went above and beyond to help me fix my makeup I cried off, TRULY AN ANGEL. I would also like to thank Brianna the banquet captain who made sure I always had a drink in hand, helped recover my bouquet after I tossed it a little too high and got stuck.

hey did not disappoint. They offered a solid variety of dishes so we were able to accommodate everyone with dietary issues. With them being all-inclusive, making decisions wasn't difficult and it allowed us to focus on our DIY wedding favors and extra components. Christian was initial one we worked with to understand any questions pre- and post- signing our contract, he was very thorough. The team was always ready to answer any questions we had via text, email, or if we needed another in person look, they easily accommodated us. Brianna had helped my mom and I when we had another look at the whole venue and answered any particular questions or inquiries we had about changing things or just looking at the lobby. When it got to our final meeting, we worked with Lydia who is just fantastic and really set our minds at ease that the venue has got us covered. Day of wedding, Lydia was also our coordinator and we also met Seth, the banquet captain. Throughout the night, they checked in on us, accommodated any small things that got thrown in, and really helped us get the quiet time that a couple would or might want on a hectic wedding day. **Bonus points because we got to go boxes of fresh portions of our dinner and extra cake to take home.

Brianna, our coordinator for rehearsal and wedding day was thorough, prepared and organized making sure that every detail we wanted throughout the day was done right and ensured the day ran smooth so that we did not have to worry about a single thing. Our banquet captain, Brianna, also made sure we were taken care of throughout the day and that we were never without something we wanted/needed. Both Brianna's went above and beyond to make our day everything that we wanted it to be!! I would recommend Wedgewood to anyone looking to get married in south Orange County!!

ng of 2024 hoping to find something for this year. Most of the venues we visited told us they were booked for the remaining of the year and I was pretty devastated. When we arrived at University Club and saw the reception room and the ceremony space, we immediately knew. When it came down to dates available, there was only one left in October, one on Thanksgiving weekend, and one on Christmas weekend. It felt like the stars aligned for us because October was perfect. We locked in that date and the rest is history.
The planning group at University Club helped guide us every step of the way. Every meeting we had with them was very professional, and they reminded us of what we needed to do (i.e. contact recommended florist, cake, photographer, hair & makeup). We went with a few of the recommended vendors and also found our own hair/makeup and photographer. Overall there was very little stress with planning for our wedding because it felt like University Club had most of it planned for us (i.e. the food, the DJ/MC, the ceremony officiant, etc.). I reached out to the planning team via text and email and they were always very prompt to reply.
Some time in July there was an “extravaganza” where a lot of different partner vendors were there and the venue was all decked out with decor and different food samples. This event gave us an idea of what our wedding would look like and we even won a raffle for the love sign on our wedding day!
There were so many delicious food options. Our guests told us that they have never seen so many salads at a wedding and that our wedding was one of the healthiest weddings they’ve ever been to!
On our wedding day, Lydia was our day of coordinator and she was on top of everything. Whenever I needed to find her, she would show up and it was super easy to communicate with her. She walked through all the details with us during the rehearsal and set up everything for us on the wedding day prior to our arrival. Honestly there was nothing we had to stress or think about, everything was taken care of. After Lydia left, Carlos was our banquet captain. He helped us pack up all our items back into the boxes we brought them in the day before and wheeled it out to our car for us. University Club also packed some goodies for us to take home and that was a fun surprise for us when we got home!
I would 100% recommend University Club to any couple wanting a stress-free wedding. University Club is literally the whole package (and more)!

My mother had recently been put on hospice care, giving us only three months to plan everything. So thankfully, Wedgewood gave us peace of mind by keeping us on track with deadlines, vendor coordination, and all the logistics.
The planning was great, but what truly impressed us was how the Wedgewood team went above and beyond on our wedding day. My husband and I were running on two hours of sleep, but our day-of coordinators, Sam and Christian, were there every step of the way, checking in on us and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Even though we ran behind our original schedule, they never rushed or stressed us out. Although we didn't get to pre-taste the food selections, our banquet captain, Carlos, exceeded our expectations. The entrees were so delicious, and he even packed us a to-go portion to take home with us! Shoutout to the bartender, Matthew, and the team manager, Karey, as well for working seamlessly to ensure our guests were well taken care of. We also loved that our DJ, Rodrigo, from Blue Heart Entertainment, was so attentive and accommodating, even with the last-minute request to have my mother-in-law do an impromptu speech in between dance songs.
Overall, my husband and I are forever grateful to the entire team for giving us peace of mind and allowing us to be fully present on our special day. If you're looking for an all-inclusive venue with exceptional service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace, look no further than Wedgewood Weddings at University Club in Irvine. , was fantastic. You can deft tell she's done this a few times cause she made sure that everything was taken into account, what a phenomenal captain of the ship! Can't say enough about her! Her staff was equally impressive. From phone calls arranging details with Nya, to day of setup with Sam (who was so incredibly friendly) to Lisa who worked out event and was constantly making sure we had what we needed. I mean wow. What an all star team! Not only were my wife and impressed but lol our guest were as well. All night (and through the following days), we were told how great the party turned out. How good the food was, how friendly the staff was. That's when you know you picked the right venue. The venue was also amazing. Plenty of room for all our guests. Having our guest arrive into the waiting room was perfect. That allowed everyone to show up and mingle and enjoy a bite of food with a beverage. The main ballroom was grand. Plenty of room to dance and for those that didn't want to, plenty of room on the deck playing games and enjoying the Photo Booth. The bathrooms were always stocked and looked presentable through out the night. Overall a hit! Thank you Karey and Staff for making my daughter's celebration a hit and memorable!!!

ions was hugely helpful! The venue itself is truly breathtaking. I was a little skeptical of a venue that is on a college campus but it's gorgeous. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are available 24/7 if you have questions or concerns. We had a morning wedding and the food was incredible. Guests are still calling me and talking about how much they loved the brunch buffet! They are definitely dedicated to making sure you enjoy your experience and it helped alleviate so much stress as a bride, knowing that they would manage any hiccups with flowers, catering, and the cake - fortunately we had zero problems with any of those areas!
The only con was that we got married on a rainy day and I got completely soaked. They did not have a hair dryer so one of my friends had to go buy one. Very rare for a Socal day, but a hairdryer on site would have been very handy! They DID provide umbrellas and the sweet day of coordinator, Echo, found a leaf blower to help dry my dress! It was quite a sight and a very memorable day. I wouldn't have changed anything about it. It was completely perfect.

hings to go wrong that night, as you’d expect for a wedding, but I do not exaggerate when I say that it was a flawless night. Or, if any issues did come up, our coordinator Natasha addressed it before it even came to our attention!
Natasha was a super star and made us feel taken care of from rehearsal all the way to the end of her shift, so we could focus on enjoying our guests’ company. She was extremely friendly, kept us on time with the busy schedule for the day, checked in on us CONSTANTLY, and assured us that we were never asking for too much. She fixed us a healthy helping of appetizers and dishes from dinner throughout the night to make sure we weren’t hungry and had plenty of time to rest in between activities. We were passed on to the care of our banquet captain later in the night, but at that point, everything was so organized and had gone so well that we didn’t need to do anything besides sitting back and relaxing. I felt absolutely spoiled that day.
The food was delicious! All of our guests raved about how good it was, and how much variety they were given. With everything included in our package (chicken, fish, prime rib, tons of choices for salad, fresh dinner rolls, seasonal veggies, and rice), we didn’t have to make many adjustments to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. I seriously can’t believe how easy it was. The appetizers were fun, and of course, very tasty.
The wedding packages also included a lot of fantastic vendors, and because they’re all contracted through Wedgewood, it was a breeze to communicate with them to hammer out details. Not only are the vendors familiar with the venue, but they are also familiar with each other, so things like adding florals to the cake was also super easy to coordinate.

ssentially organize everything for you, including the decorations and setting the event up - it really made life easier for us; all we had to find was the photographer. Even though "all inclusive" may seem like you would would get C-grade experience, we can happily report that was not the case.
Our officiant, Gael, was sweet, accommodating, and made us truly feel like this was a special day. The buffet option we went with was quite tasty; the salmon was tender and the chicken was extremely flavorful; the decorations were tastefully done and not gaudy; our DJ the venue got for us was wonderful in making sure our guests had a good time, but could still hear each other talk; and the cake was a big hit as well! Our wedding was an afternoon-evening one, and when the sun went down, all the lights on the trees surrounding us made it look like it was straight from a fairy tale!
Everyone at the venue, especially our day of coordinators, Zoe and Carlos, made sure my husband and I had the best experience. They were patient in answering our many questions, very willing to adjust things in the moment, and made us feel like we mattered.
We're beyond grateful for everything the Wedgewood staff did for my husband and I from the months leading up to the wedding and on our big day. 15/10, would highly recommend!

When it came down to the week before and day of the wedding, they also exceeded every expectation I had. My Coordinator Mason was fantastic day of the ceremony and at my rehearsal. He answered everyones questions, kept us all in line, and was extremely professional and pleasant. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, thanks to him and the whole team at Wedgewood. As the bride and groom, we felt 100% at ease on our wedding day. Everything was taken care of for us and they were in constant communication with us making sure we felt supported, at ease, and were having a great time. Not only did we absolutely LOVE our wedding day, but many of our guests commented to us afterwards that they could tell how happy and at ease we were, we were not stressed or annoyed like a lot of brides and grooms are on their wedding days. Guest also told us that the staff were all very helpful and friendly when engaging with them, and any question or concern they had during the wedding was addressed. FOOD: 10/10, I was so worried about this since we were not able to try the catering beforehand, but OMG we loved it!! If they were a restaurant I would go back again and again...All our guests told us we had the best wedding food they ever had.
DJ GIO: 10/10, so nice and fun! Played the perfect mix and even made adjustments on the fly when requested.
Simply Sweet Cakes: 10/10 Delicious cake and amazing customer service! Love them.

The Wedgwood Wedding team at University Club have been nothing but amazing and accommodating from start to finish, as they answer all our questions no matter how many times I asked. During our scheduled meetings, the team made sure the details were followed to our specific needs. On the day of the wedding, the team (including the Wedding Coordinator and Banquet Captain) went above and beyond in making sure our wedding day went smoothly and perfectly (without us worrying about the small details). They made sure we were taken care of and that the wedding timeline was followed as closely as possible. d and because of the covid related travel restrictions, all the preparation work are on us. We got our reservation of our ceremony chapel almost a year ago and wasn’t thinking too much about the wedding prep stuff. We found it so overwhelming after we start looking reception venues. Both of us have quite busy schedules and when we realized that we need to figure out a dozen of vendors by our own, we found us hustling and not enjoying the process. During the research we realized that there is a reception venue at UCI and we scheduled a tour and we were so happy that they have all the connections to all the vendors and the process has been simplified greatly. We were basically going through that process with Brooke and Taryn and the vendors referred by them. On the wedding day, we were able to focus on our stuff as Brooke and Taryn was able to work with other vendors, decorate the venue as we’ve designed, and accommodating us dropping of some last minute decorations and picking up our bouquets. Later that day we found us trapped in traffic from the chapel while most of our guests have already arrived. Brooke and Taryn were extremely helpful and kind to adjust the schedules accordingly and we got a really smooth and successful reception. We would like to thank them so much as every single guest told us they were so pleased at the reception. Besides the amazing service they provided, the food and drink was also unbelievably great. All of us loved the food and we were able to get special food for our vegetarian guests and high chair for junior guests. The MC/DJ Gio at the ceremony helped us greatly as well. We got all of our desired music played as we wanted during different scenarios and he guided the transitions between all programs with great energy. Overall, we simply amazed how streamlined the process was tinkered to make our preparation simple and how great the result has became. We would definitely recommend their extremely thoughtful service and helpful staff. ding. Living in Virginia but getting married in California can be challenging to plan but they made it feel like we were in California planning our wedding. They were very responsive to our emails and helpful when we had questions. The entire staff the day of were also wonderful to work with. They had appetizers for us when we were taking our family photos and then also after we were done with our pictures. Around June 2020, it became extremely apparent to us that we were not going to get to have our wedding due to COVID-19. The venue, specifically Robyn and Kevin, worked so much with me to helped me pick a new date in July 2021, and was comforting and made me feel so much better about it even though my wedding was still 5 months away.
When the time came to start planning my July 2021 wedding, I was working with probably the 3rd different person at the venue, but everyone was so sweet, including Natalie and Olivia. I'm sure they would agree that I am a bit of a Bridezilla when it comes to planning out every detail, spreadsheets, etc. and they were always accomodating to my requests and all my unique decorations. I wanted to come earlier than normal to setup because I felt comfortable having that in my own hands and there were sooo many decorations and they allowed me to do so.
It was actually the wedding day that threw me completely over the top with my experience here. From always having drinks and food ready for Andrew and I, to keeping me company in the Bridal Suite and helping me change, to fluffing my dress for me before the event, Oliva and Danielle were AMAZING. They had a drink in my hand before I even knew I wanted one! Honestly completely surpassed my expectations on being there for me the day of, and Olivia and Danielle definitely went beyond their job duties to help me put on my shoes and get dressed. Also a special shoutout to Mason & his crew for being awesome the entire event and the clean-up.
I've received a ton of reviews that this was the most fun wedding my guests have ever attended, DJ Gio was freaking awesome, the food was amazing, and that overall the venue was gorgeous. Andrew and I paid for the entire wedding basically alone and I can say it was worth every single penny. Best night ever.
Forever grateful to the Wedgewood Staff and I wish I could relive this experience with them over and over! I look forward to my 20 year anniversary party with them! :)

taff - look no further. My now husband and I went with Wedgewood in June 2019 for a June 2020 wedding, and ended up having to postpone twice. Natalie and Kevin were there every step of the way, assuring us and helping execute moving our wedding to a new date - twice! When our date in June 2021 finally arrived, we were absolutely stunned by how every single detail came to life. We had the wedding of our dreams here, and it is all thanks to the care and support of the Wedgewood team. The venue itself is stunning - the outdoor ceremony site is surrounded by lush greenery, with ample seating, and the reception room indoors is so perfect - clean and modern. The food is exceptional, and the bartenders are fabulous. The banquet staff are so attentive and really made my husband and I feel cared for. Right after our ceremony, the banquet captain (Mason) was waiting with two of each of our appetizers, just to make sure we ate something! The reception space gives ample room to eat, mingle, and dance - all at the same time! I can’t write this review without putting the spotlight on Natalie - she helped my husband and I through all of our postponements, and made us feel safe and secure at every turn. She is an incredible person and is the reason this venue shines like it does. Kevin is the kindest and most caring person - we so appreciated his help and care throughout our entire wedding process - including on the day of our wedding when he held my train as I came down the stairs! There are a million reasons why I could tell anyone looking to book a venue and reception location to book here - but I hope you’ll take me at my word when I say come to University Club Wedgewood. You’ll be so, so glad you did.

me in the loop about what was going on and helping me make plans. I appreciated their prompt responses to my emails and questions, even though they were also in the same boat with the unknown. Unfortunately, 30 days before our wedding, UCI no longer allowed weddings through the end of the year and Kevin instantly called me and worked with me to help us plan an alternative. They helped us get in contact with Aliso Viejo Wedgewood and helped us plan and move everything over to the new location. While the situation seems as it should be stressful, they made the transition seamless. Both Natalie and Kevin were there for our rehearsal and our wedding day to help plan and coordinate our wedding and making sure everything went smoothly. They set up all the decorations beautifully and the day of went so smoothly due to their organization and coordination the day of. I was so grateful for their help and that they made wedding planning, which is already stressful enough, during COVID so much easier.

the venue is uniquely situated on UCI's campus with plenty of trees, greenery, and various areas that are perfect for pictures (they offer golf carts in addition to your package to get you around the campus for wedding photos). We fell in love with the inside portion; it was remodeled a few years back and is clean, modern, and classy. Unfortunately, we were unable to have our reception inside of the beautiful ballroom due to COVID, but still had our outdoor ceremony as planned. Secondly, the entire team/staff were exceptional! They went above and beyond to keep in contact with us throughout the daily uncertainty of the pandemic and notified us of the changing guidelines. We felt so at ease throughout the planning and couldn't have imagined a better team to support us. Lastly, we really appreciated the inclusive packaging that they offer, in comparison to other venues where the pricing gets tricky. The pricing is clear and up-front from the beginning - you know what you're paying for and don't have to worry about additional fees at the end of your event. The packaging is completely customizable and can be tailored to your needs, especially if you already have a preferred vendor for certain services. Looking back on our wedding and the craziness of COVID, booking the University Club was the best decision we made!

edding (especially when I forgot to order flower baskets and petals and only realized right before we walked down the aisle). The entire staff is so helpful and pleasant, even the security, and in light of the whole COVID 19, Wedgewood very graciously worked with us as our plans were thrown into uncertainty. I could not recommend them more!
