On top of that, we coordinated all of this from the Bay Area, while simultaneously planning to move out-of-state after our wedding! After explaining where we were at with Marissa and Hailey, they made sure our check-ins were easy, straightforward, and still fun. On top of that, their responses to questions we had were lightning fast. Both women were very accommodating, and made the flow of our event exceptionally smooth. Kevin is a ball of positive ENERGY, and that made things amazing. So, let's say Wedgewood University Club's service is rated: SUPERB💯🎯. Price wise, it was very reasonable👌. My husband and I were teetering between open bar or not, and Marissa did an excellent job laying out possible options, given our budget. We still went with the open bar. On top of that, we had a cultural ceremony we wanted to practice. Marissa was very attentive and honored the idea, including, making it possible for this to happen at an affordable cost! She's quite a delight, and you would be very lucky to have her work with you. In addition, our guests had many compliments about the friendliness and service of the bistro's bartender and team, too. I did not get a chance to try out the open bar due to the busyness of our day, though the bartender reached out and introduced herself, and complimented us on our day. Super friendly, and sweet! This Wedgewood team is connected with partners who are just as professional and awesome as them. Each vendor that was referred to us by Wedgewood (e.g. the D'Jay company, hotel concierge) were also all-stars. That now checks price and service off the list. Next, food and venue space. Our guests LOVED the food + ambiance. We were a bit nervous about food since we did not go through the tasting as we were short on time and could not fly in to the tasting day. Needless to say, our guests left full, and raving about how scrumptious everything was. The venue space is elegant. There is a gorgeous chandelier which provides a classy touch. We had a sweetheart table, and the backdrop of lights on the trees were absolutely PERFECT for our wedding theme: a rustic woodland. My husband and I highly recommend this venue space, and we will always recommend this to friends or family who are searching for a wedding/corporate/event space. This is surely the wedding power pack.🔥💪🦄

I loved how we didn't share our evening with any other events. We had this perfect place all to ourselves and our guests! At our first appointment, we were greeted by Marissa and Kevin who are just absolutely genuine and wonderful people to work with. They made the process very easy in planning. We enjoyed meeting them the very first time, and after receiving all the details of planning the perfect wedding, we knew this was going to be the most perfect venue! They gave us a tour of the property and the gazebo where the ceremony will take place. Kevin and Marissa - a Super Pro Coordinator, showed us pictures of how the property would look like once it was completed. But what we really loved is the lighting around the garden area. Marissa showed us tree trunks wrapped in mini lights and the branches also displayed mid-length mini lights. It showcased the garden area during the evening (WOW)! It really wowed us and our guests since the indoor reception area were halfway surrounded by glass windows! The evening was simply quite magical! The chandelier in the reception room was stunning and elegant! Now who wouldn't want that! Marissa and Hailey (you'll want these Dynamic Duo in your team) kept us on track every step of the way from beginning to end! They really helped us get through the last month of our planning without any "hiccups". They responded quickly to my emails and phone calls, concerns, issues, and relieved us from the stress. I REALLY MISS THEM! Their wedding packages are the best compared to the other venues we researched and visited. The food was so delicious which pleased us and our guests! And the "customer service" experience was IMPECCABLE! Their attention to detail is second to none! Marissa and Hailey ensured us that EVERYTHING from start to finish was completed to our specifications. Whatever we needed, they delivered. Suggestions at the 11th hour, they covered! The vendors they worked with our pretty awesome! You have two cake vendors to choose from and the cake tasting came with the package. The D'Jay totally rocked our evening as well! AND the entire WW staff during and after our wedding were spectacular! They were all so kind, helpful, and professional! We received so much compliments from our guests! We didn't encounter any issues the day off. It was truly a dream wedding come true! I told my husband we should renew our vows there next year! That's how awesome WW UCI staff/team treated us! WW DOES live up to its name of creating an "INSANELY MEMORABLE DAY!" Oh, and one extra detail that truly impressed us and made our day much more memorable is this, when my husband and I went to our sweetheart table for the first time, we discovered a framed picture of us that Marissa had taken right after the ceremony. She actually took the time by printing it and framing it! WE WERE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED! It was our first official wedding photo! Now, that is beyond customer service! That's putting a lot of love and care to our wedding! Thank you a million times over! We really do miss you all! We couldn't have had a fun and successful evening without you all!!!

Cindy and Clarissa are very organized and easy to get in contact with. They let us make several adjustments to the food and reception details over the few weeks before the wedding. We were able to bring all of our decorations the day before the wedding and they arranged everything. They directed everyone on what to do during the rehearsal and kept track of timing for our wedding day, making adjustments as necessary. We don't what we would have done without them. They made everything very easy. We would definitely recommend others use this venue! The venue holds maximum of 200 people for an indoor reception and ~300 people for an outdoor reception. They recently changed the look of their banquet hall so their ceilings look amazing now. They also added some new string lights to their outdoor area. We saw some pictures of what other couples were able to do with the venue and this inspired us to pick this location!

She was always pleasant to work with and her staff was very efficient and professional. She told us what to expect at each part of the ceremony and reception and she delivered on all of it. We had so many compliments on having such a great wedding, and we believe it was mainly because Cindy made everything so easy for us. We would recommend this venue 100%. Thank you, Cindy.

for. The wedding coordinator, Cindy, is the BEST coordinator EVER. She is extremely organized, responsive, detail oriented, and thorough. And she is fast paced, which I like. She is quick to think on the spot and problem solve through any situation. She accommodated my last minute changes in the guest list, so that we weren't charged for the food plates of extra guests. When we found out the L.A. Rams were holding their first practice at UCI on the day of our wedding, Cindy got a parking attendant at our site hours before our reception began to make sure nobody except our guests were using the University Club parking! Cindy and her assistant Carissa also went above and beyond to make sure every question I had was answered with specificity and detail. Emails were answered quickly, sometimes on the same day! When I was unsure about tax and the service charge, Cindy took the time to explain to me and my dad who was looking over my wedding contract. Cindy made sure that there were no surprises on our bill. On the note of going above and beyond, Cindy helped us get the exact color of up-lights we wanted and even helped creatively lay out all of our cookies for our ice cream sandwich bar. She has an eye for what looks good! Finally, my father in law left his wedding ring in the bathroom on accident, and Cindy was sure to communicate to my Maid of Honor and my husband that it was locked in a safe at the University Club waiting to be picked up at our convenience. Thank you to the University Club for making our day unforgettable. To our sweetheart table's server, to the bartender that made sure my friend's were having a blast, to our coordinators, it was such a pleasure to work with you!

They make sure we are on the right track along the planning process and they spend lots of time answering all the e-mail questions we have. On the day of the wedding, they run around all over the venue to make sure everything is well-organized and that we are doing well with the time. The venue itself was recently renovated and it was gorgeous! It was absolutely a hassle free experiences, and plus, both Cindy and Carissa are very pleasant and they are super fun to work with! 5/5 stars and would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married!

e price of the event, and she's SO much more than a day-of-coordinator. I met with her at the site 3 or 4 times and corresponded numerous times by email. She was incredibly on top of details and organization, and she did it all with a fantastic bubbly energy. She was never overbearing but rather very receptive to our preferences and needs. I'm definitely a detail-oriented person, so I was profoundly happy to have someone like her manage everything for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, she did an incredible job of making sure everything stuck to schedule, and she put out lots of little fires (probably even more than I know about, since I think she did her best to avoid stressing me out!). I truly can't imagine how I could have done it without her. VALUE: Of course you should shop around and see what works for you, but the UCI University Club was one of the 2-3 most inexpensive packages I found (I was looking for a venue with catering and rentals included). FOOD: They created a menu just for us, and now it's on the website as a preset package! Look for the Asian buffet :D It was really nice to see their flexibility in making a menu that suited our tastes. We got to do a tasting beforehand; we did have to pay the lunch entree price that was determined for our dishes, but we got a 25% discount, so it was fine. The food was very good for the price; people especially loved how tender and flavorful the beef was. SETTING: Just beautiful. I have a love of trees and twinkly lights, and this spot has PLENTY of those gorgeous things. The gazebo is such a nice setting. Lots of great spots to take photos. I also loved the drapery in the ceiling of the reception room - included in the price, not $1000 extra like I encountered at another venue! The pictures speak for themselves. Parking is also free, which is great. If you think this spot might fit your vision for your wedding, GO CHECK IT OUT. Cindy and her staff made the whole experience amazing!

The time spent willing to work with me to tweak the menu was so appreciated. We did the buffet to accommodate as many guest food preferences as possible. The guests all remarked how light and fresh the food was - not heavy and weighed down with sauces. Even the steamed vegetables were perfectly cooked and fresh. It was all a big hit! Her advice as to how many hors d'oeuvre trays were needed was spot on - people felt the food "just kept coming." Exactly what I wanted the guests to feel - that they were being well taken care of. (You know Italians and food - the more food, the more love!) It felt as if, though impossible, she was in a million places at once, checking on things, and following up. As the wedding ended, Cindy came to us to let us know that she had packed up the things we'd brought so we could exit more quickly at the end of a tiring, but lovely evening. Cheerful, pleasant, fun and efficient - she's a bride's (or mother of the bride's) best friend. You won't be disappointed!

My (now) wife and I met with Cindy, a person who brings new meaning to the words enthusiasm, kindness and professionalism, and she took her time walking us through the ins and outs of the University Club as a venue. We knew almost immediately that we wanted to have our wedding there, and once we committed Cindy became an invaluable ally, making the planning and coordination of our wedding a thoroughly human and manageable experience. I took on the major responsibilities of organizing our wedding, and Cindy walked me through each step, asking excellent questions, making sure I was on track, and providing me with a great list of affordable vendors who helped to make our wedding day the most memorable of my life. The day of our wedding was so beautiful. Cindy and her staff took care of everything. The food was very good, the event felt intimate and joyous, and Cindy made sure that all of our needs were met. I received so many compliments from our guests about Cindy and her staff. Cindy became more than just our wedding planner; she became a valued friend throughout this process. I'm grateful to her and her staff for all that they did for us and would recommend this place to anyone wanting an affordable and beautiful wedding. Months after the fact, I still think about that day and have received dozens of compliments from friends and family who attended our wedding. She was very knowledgable in all things wedding related. She is also very personable and friendly. She gave us examples/pros and cons for every option and let us decide what will work best for our wedding. She patiently answered our countless questions and went along with changes so easily. She was there on the day of the wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. All her vendor recommendations were terrific. We could not ask for more- Cindy went completely above and beyond. The prices are very competitive and you will not be disappointed if you decide to hold your wedding here.

Most of all, you need a coordinator! And you got the best one here included with the rent. sized wedding (120 guests) for an affordable price. The food was amazing, the service was great and the location was beautiful. Everyone loved the ceremony in the gazebo outside and the reception hall inside had floor to ceiling windows looking out to ring road and Aldrich park. Twinkle lights were strung from the ceiling and were around the trees in the park outside of the venue, which gave the location a nice touch. Everything was so beautiful! We got many compliments on the venue! The price also included the services of the venue's wedding coordinator, Cindy Lee. She was amazing!! I cannot say enough good things about her. She is very organized and was really helpful in making arrangements, even giving me a list of things that I could check off to help keep me organized. She was able to accommodate the fact that I was planning my wedding from far away (we live in northern California). Cindy was also very flexible with details changing (guest count, timeline, etc). I also have to give her props for putting up with our silliness, as my family are prone to making jokes and getting off topic as she was running through the schedule! :) Cindy was instrumental in making my wedding an amazing day!

outside at the gazebo and the reception inside in the main dining room. The outdoor ceremony site is so gorgeous with the white gazebo surrounded by several breathtaking trees. The ceremony ended just as the sun was setting, and the twinkling lights that are strung on the trees made for an absolutely picture perfect setting. For the reception, we chose to have a dinner buffet (with a prime rib upgrade) and we received soooo many compliments from our guests on the food! I know many of them went back for seconds and thirds which made me very happy! And now on to the main reason why our wedding turned out to be so perfect... Cindy and the staff!!! Cindy is hands-down the most amazing wedding coordinator... ever! She was such a wonderful help throughout the entire wedding planning process. I must have called & emailed her at least 50 times before the actual wedding and she was always so thorough and supportive in answering all my questions. She is so organized and will sit down with you for about 3 hours one month before the wedding to help you create your day-of timeline and to smooth out all of the last minute details. She is so bubbly and friendly and a true pleasure to work with, not to mention an excellent resource for vendor referrals! And her staff at the UClub is so awesome as well! So incredibly NICE and professional. They made my husband and me feel like royalty on our wedding day. I can't express enough how highly I recommend UCI University Club for you wedding!

budget location. The inside of UCI is GORGEOUS and definitely has a Yale Club feel to it. It has a separate room for the cocktail hour and huge ballroom for the reception. Not only that, but the outside is beautiful with its picturesque gazeebo. And he food... THE FOOD! All of our guests raved about it, and they especially liked the cocktail hour appetizers. As for coordinators, Cindy is seriously a gift from above. She is the most calming, wonderful wedding coordinator that you could ever possibly dream up! She did anything and everything to make our special day memorable and easy, and everything turned out beautifully. She will give you ladies recommendations for vendors, advice on wedding details if you ask, and treat you like you are a top priority. Do I highly recommend UCI? ABSOLUTELY!!!
