Our wedding was a cozy, warm dream! The University Club helped make our vision a reality. We are so grateful for the help of Joanne and the entire team. The were accommodating with our Pittsburgh cookie table, dietary requests, and decor vision. We also were so appreciative with how professional and attentive they were. We did not have to worry about anything the day of and felt completely confident with them handling any issues. The food was amazing and our guests were beyond happy with the spread as well as the bar and the late night pizza buffet. Our wedding day flew by and I will forever be grateful to this to team for helping us make the most of the first day as husband and wife.

Susan Reynolds, our coordinator, was extremely responsive and helped us put together a wonderful event while being sensitive to our budget needs. The food was amazing, catering staff very attentive, and the entire staff did everything they could to make us all comfortable throughout the dinner reception. A great value - I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

We had our wedding reception at the University Club in August 2014. Working with Marilyn Mays was great. She was flexible and always willing to accommodate. Marilyn communicated with other vendors which made it a lot easier to plan the reception. She was professional and considerate of our budget. She made sure everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. It turned out to be a beautiful reception and I'm so happy that we chose the UClub.

I had the most amazing wedding reception imaginable at the University Club of MSU. The staff, especially our coordinator Stephanie Parish, were all wonderful and made the experience easy and enjoyable. The food was phenomenal and the view of the gold course priceless. They left no detail out in the planning process and were a great help the entire night of the event. You cannot find a better venue.

The staff was wonderful, the food was amazing, the decor was perfect. Marilyn helped make my dream wedding come true. I wouldn't have had my wedding reception anywhere else besides the UClub.

Janice the coordinator was very helpful. The prices were very reasonable expecially compared to similar venues in the area. We had a fabulous time at our test meal a few months before the wedding. They handled all decor and followed our instructions perfectly. During the actual event the service was spectacular. We have nothing bad to say. Venue, Bar, Food, giftbasket for us and a free night at the adjoining hotel. Exceeded expectations!

My wedding ceremony and reception was at the University Club and they did an incredible job. Janice my coordinator was incredible and couldn't have been more accomadating. I really felt that Janice and the UClub did everything to make everything perfect for me. Not only this but the food was excellent and I was told it was some of the best food people ever had let alone at a wedding. I served a duet of fish and steak and the fish was steak was cooked perfectly. The service was also perfect.

The wedding coordinator was amazing and helpful and had wonderful ideas and suggestions. The staff was gracious and brought out everything we asked for. The food was delicious and the room was beautiful. Everythin about this was place wonderful.

I liked it overall but had a heck of a time getting the correct invoice at the end. The staff was good, particularly the manager I did not like the manager who was in charge of my event the night of.

The options in Lansing for a formal reception are limited. Based on location and overall value, we chose the UClub for our reception. The Atrium in the Business Center is not typically offered but the view of the golf course sold us. The food at the University Club is excellent. Our guests were very impressed. The aesthetics of the venue are not the greatest(other than the amazing views) but with the right decorator the atrium turned out to be gorgeous. Unfortunately, that means we spent a lot of money bringing in our furniture, linens, and a lot of plants and flowers to fill the room. Amy Grey, the coordinator at the University Club was very helpful and accomodating. We ended up with a lot of "special" requests that they were happy to fill for us. All you have to do is ask! We would not recommend the hotel at the UClub for guests. The kitchenette suites that are on-site were very convenient but they were in poor condition and the staff was very unorganized. They accidentally cancelled the reservations of several guests including the mother-of-the-bride. Fortunately there were still rooms available, otherwise it could have been a total nightmare. Compared to other venues in the greater Lansing area (it's not metro Detroit or Grand Rapids so the options are slim) we were very happy with the University Club for our reception.
