Lexy and Anna were amazing throughout this process. The venue was beautiful and the planning was stress free for us!
I would recommend the University Club to any couple for their wedding venue!! We had our wedding on the Piano Bar Level. To start off the coordinator Lexy was amazing! We used the ...
DJ company that she works with as well (Twisted Mic’s) and having her be involved in the planning for both made it SO easy! She was there the entire night to make sure things went smooth and made adding an hour on the night of to keep the party going extremely easy! The layout of the piano bar was PERFECT because it allowed people to dance and have fun on the main side but provided a place for people chat on the bar side out of the loud music. The venue itself is gorgeous and required very little additional decor and details to make beautiful the night of! Also definitely recommend going through DeBord’s catering - the caterer connect with the venue, the food was amazing!
This is a gorgeous venue and the owner was fun to work with. She was especially willing to work with us in the uncertainty regarding a date for a military wedding. We had a large e...
vent, and the facility was perfect with the separate bar space, balcony and location of the dance floor. Many menu selections, too. I would book another event here in a heartbeat.
We had our wedding reception on the first floor and were so happy with it! The space and aesthetic are beautiful to start with so there wasn't much that needed to be added. It was ...
a hot day but the temperature inside was very comfortable. Kristen was very responsive and met our expectations. The food has to go through DeBord catering, which is a slight negative to have just one option. While the food was very good, they were not very responsive or organized.
Beautiful venue. Excellent to work with.
The University Club was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding reception. Working with Kristen was incredibly easy and she made sure that every detail was taken care of before...
and after the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff made sure everyone had everything they needed from the start of the reception to the end. I cannot imagine having our reception anywhere else. Absolutely perfect.
Such a beautiful location. Exposed brick, hardwood floors...it was gorgeous!
Please use caution when considering this business.
My wife is a chef and bakes cakes for weddings and special events. A personal friend decided to have her wedding reception at...
the University Club of Moline.
We spoke with the owners of this hall a time or two over the phone with no issues.
BUT, on the day of the reception, the owners of this business became mean and crude individuals. The bride ordered 300 cupcakes, 25 satellite cakes, a 4-tier wedding cake, and a 3-tier grooms cake and wanted them distributed throughout the 40+ guest tables set up in the hall.
The owners yelled at, berated, mistreated, and insulted my wife for two hours as she set up this expectant brides wedding cake!
I have made 10 calls over the last two weeks attempting to speak with them myself to discuss the situation and they will not answer or return my phone calls.
We will NOT do business with this hall again and will discourage every bride and customer we have to do the same.
The University Club offers a unique setting for a reception. We rented the upstairs loft room with brick walls, exposed ceiling piping, and a small reading area in the corner. Th...
e room has so much character, and Kristin is wonderful to work with.
The venue is beautiful and requires almost no Decorations. Perfect night.
The University Club is GORGEOUS! I fell in love with it the minute I walked in the door. The owner also acts as a day-of coordinator for all of your other vendors. Once I'd booked ...
my florist, caterer, Dj, etc., all I had to do was pass on the information to Kristen at The University Club and she took care of ALL the scheduling for me! It definitely made things a lot easier on me! Kristen was fantastic to work with. You can tell that weddings are her business and she put in a lot of effort to make sure that things went smoothly and looked amazing.
My wedding reception was amazing thanks to Kristen at the University Club. The venue is beautiful and is unlike any other venue in the Quad Cities area. I would recommend it to a...
