Ross and the UnMuddled team were phenomenal from the first email until the end of our wedding. We would pick them every single time if we did it again. Their initial questionnaire and our ideas helped the team to find the perfect blend of drink options. The cocktails vibed well with our vision (subtle tiki inspiration), and the team’s genuine investment in making our wedding memorable was felt by us and all our guests. Loved working with the unMuddled team! The easiest of all vendors to work with, super responsive throughout the planning process, and were a lot of fun to have at our wedding. We didn't worry about a thing when it came to the bar service, and so many guests came up to us to compliment the drinks - it really helped to elevate our wedding reception. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently hired unmuddled for my backyard wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Ross the owner was easy to work with and came up with some personalized custom drinks. Ross and his staff were not only professional and skilled, but they also had a friendly and upbeat attitude that added to the overall joyous atmosphere of the event. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were attentive and responsive to the needs of our guests. They quickly served drinks and made sure that everyone had a full glass. They were also knowledgeable about the different drinks and were able to make recommendations for those who were unsure of what to order. Overall, I highly recommend the bartender service that I hired for my backyard wedding. Their professionalism, skill, and friendly demeanor made them a valuable addition to our special day. I would not hesitate to hire them again for future events and I am considering hiring them for a mixology course for a group of friends.

Everything about our experience with unMuddled was fantastic. We love cocktails and we wanted to work with a bartender that would let us be creative and to provide amazing drinks to go with our wedding. Ross + team started from understanding what we were looking for, working with us to craft a menu, had a great tasting session where we got to try everything out and then knocked it out of the park on the actual day. They were able to help navigate last minute considerations around adjusting glassware and helping to serve wine during dinner and partnered with other vendors extremely well, making it easy for us. On the actual day, the bar service was professional and well organized and all of the drinks were great! I would highly recommend working with them for a wedding or any other event.

We recently had Ross and the unMuddled team bartend for our wedding, and my husband and I could not recommend them enough! Working with Ross was amazing throughout the whole process and he and his team exceeded our expectations throughout. We absolutely loved our experience tasting and selecting our signature cocktails which had to be one of our favorite parts during wedding planning. Ross was super gracious and knowledgeable during the tasting process, and helped us to put together delicious drinks with a fun twist which reflected both of us so well. He was communicative throughout the planning process and had very insightful guidance regarding purchasing liquor and drinks for the service including local brand recommendations, quantities, etc. The day of our wedding he was so amazing and we had many guests comment on what a great experience they had at the bar and how much they enjoyed our signature drinks. At one point Ross even went above and beyond helping to clean up a spilled drink in the middle of the dance floor which was way more than we could've ever expected. Ross and his team were such an integral part of our reception, we can't thank them enough for helping us to put together such a special day and recommend them for any event!

They were very communicative throughout the process and even had to get creative with how they were able to support us at the venue. My husband and I used unMuddled for our wedding and were SO happy with the service. Ross was incredibly kind and communicative throughout the whole planning process. We got to do a great cocktail tasting and pick some signature drinks for the wedding, which were a huge hit for all of the guests! During the wedding, Ross and his team were SO sweet and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

UnMuddled goes above and beyond your standard bartender service for weddings. Early on in the process, we met with Ross to have a tasting and create our three signature cocktails. He was so flexible with making tweaks to the recipes to match our preferences. Everyone loved the signature cocktails! They also provided a nice menu of the cocktails and other drinks available. Prior to the wedding, communication was always quick and easy with Ross. Don’t let ordering your own liquor dissuade from booking them, it really is easy and cost effective to work with Prestige or other liquor stores. UnMuddled also helps by providing a list of what they need and can make a estimate about the cost for you. At the wedding, the bartenders were so personable and quick. Our guests never had to wait for a drink. We really loved working with UnMuddled and would recommend them to anyone getting married in Chicago who can choose their own bartenders.

Having unique and memorable signature cocktails was an important aspect of our wedding. We had a destination wedding and were limited to the venue’s bartending team, so we set out to find a local mixologist in Chicago that could work with us to develop easy recipes any bartender could follow. Ross and the UnMuddled team surpassed any expectation we could have imagined for this experience. The amount of detail and care he took in helping us throughout the process was incredible. His level of service (and quality of the drinks!) was so amazing that we will be repeat customers for as many events as possible! It’s been over a month since our wedding and one of the biggest highlights was Ross and unMuddled! Super chill and approachable, it was a huge pleasure working with him during the planning process and the day of! He always responded kindly to our questions and suggestions and even helped us out with brand options when it came to the alcohol that we needed for our cocktails. Our non-drinking friends really appreciated the virgin cocktails that Ross made for them so they wouldn’t miss out on the fun. We hired unMuddled for our wedding in September and highly recommend. Ross was cooperative and responsive during the planning phase and a pleasure to work with the day of. We decided to go for specialty drinks for our wedding and Ross created vodka, tequila, and whiskey based drinks that suited our tastes and were a huge hit with our guests. At the end of the night, Ross and his team packed up all the unused liquor and loaded it in our car so we could return it. We truly appreciated Ross and his staffs professionalism and likability!

Can't recommend unMuddled enough. Ross was just so professional, knowledgeable, and easygoing. He created two amazing signature cocktails for me and my wife that perfectly blended all of the flavors we wanted to capture. And I wouldn't have been able to curate the bar selection without his expert insight (he saved me a good amount of money on that as well). Hiring Ross was one of the BEST decisions we made in our entire wedding planning process! We knew that food, booze, and music were our top 3 priorities for our reception from day 1, and Ross really helped our vision for a great party with our favorite people come true. Ross was THE most responsive vendor we worked with throughout the entire planning process, and he was so kind, knowledgeable, flexible, and patient throughout our time with him. You can tell that he really knows his stuff and loves what he does, and we were so lucky to be able to work with him to plan our custom cocktail menu. Our venue allowed BYOB with no corkage fee (which was GREAT for our budget), and Ross was also so helpful when we were building our "shopping list" for Binny's--we would've had no idea where to start without his help. I truly cannot say enough good things about Ross's excellent communication, his great attitude, or how helpful and professional he was from our very first inquiry email to the wedding day itself. I even had guests telling me how quick and friendly the bartenders were at the wedding! The drinks were fabulous, and working with Ross could not have been any easier. Ross was far and beyond one of our favorite people to work with in planning our wedding!Always quick to respond to questions and concerns, he was always easy to work with and flexible with any changes we requested throughout planning. He provided custom cocktails (one pre-made in a cool cocktail keg they provided) that they put together beautifully and adjusted to be alcohol-free for those who needed it. 100% will hire him again if we ever hold an event that serves alcohol.

Ross was so great to work with! About two weeks before our wedding, we had to pivot to a heated tent for our reception and hired unMuddled Bartending for the bar services. Ross was easy to work with, very personable, responsive to emails and provided great guidance as we planned the evening. He also helped us pick specialty cocktails for the night. The wedding reception went so smoothly and our guests loved the cocktails and service Ross provided. I'd highly recommend Ross for future events!

I hired unMuddled Bartending Company for a surprise proposal party for my fiancee. It was my first time hiring a bartender for an event and the experience could not have been more easy. Ross was very personable and great to work with. He was very responsive to emails and always had great suggestions to make the event a success. He knew just what to do to make sure I was prepared so that I had nothing to worry about. On the day of the event, Ross came prepared and on time. Guests raved about the cocktails had had designed for the event. He was even nice enough to leave the bar area when things were slow to deliver drinks personally to guests and ask guests if they wanted another. I would definitely hire again for another event!
