l highlight video. After the wedding ended, Hugs told us that we would receive our videos in 2-3 months after our wedding date. When the 3 month mark hit, we contacted Hugs who stated that the reason we had not received our video was because we did not fully pay yet (at this point we paid a deposit). Although it was communicated that we would not have to pay the remaining balance after we received our videos, we immediately paid and hoped to get our videos sent. We were already frustrated now because we did not understand why he didn’t communicate with us to pay the balance if that would have sped up the process - however soon after we realized that that was the first of his many excuses, and that our payment had nothing to do with the product not being finished. He took an entire extra months (now 4 months after the wedding) until he sent us our first video, the 3-5 minute highlight. Within that extra months, we contacted him weekly asking for what we paid for with minimal response. While we loved the quality of our video and memories captured, there was a crackling sound in the back as well as repeated moments in the video that we had to tell him to look into. At this point, we still had not received any of our other footage that was paid for. When we followed up on the other videos, he would repeatedly set deadlines for himself as in “I’ll have it to you by Thursday”, which he would never meet. Over and over again, we had to follow up and chase after him. It took 5 months for us to get the full highlight video, when we were still missing out raw footage and hadn’t seen a glimpse of drone footage. When we inquired again about our raw footage and drone, he stated that “typically we don’t include raw footage, because they are such large files”, and he didn’t know how he was going to process and upload it to send it us, and that “the drone footage didn’t add value to our video”. This was infuriating, as he should have never offered the raw footage as a service, put it in the contract and have us pay for it without knowing how to send us the file - it was truly incredible to see such unprofessionalism. We pushed back and told him how ridiculous of a statement that is after we paid and after he said he could provide us with the raw footage. He then fell off the face of the earth, was completely unresponsive to our messages until we literally threatened with legal action. We wanted the memories of our wedding that he promised and that we paid for and we could not fathom how he was dodging out messages and giving excuse after excuse. The worst part of it all was the negative vibe he added to our wedding - this is the last thing we wanted to deal with after our wedding and having such great memories, that someone so unreliable and unprofessional would keep our memories and hold them hostage after we had paid for them. I had to write this long review because I truly wanted to inform customers of this incidence and what a negative and frustrating experience we had with him.

or a videographer. I was immediately attracted to Unreel Visuals because the videos were unique and fun and well edited. I spoke with quite a few other videographers who had about the same spins on their videos. We wanted a highlight and full length video from the wedding. Hugs was very responsive when I contacted him, and he was professional. He showed up on time for the wedding and stayed the entire length of the wedding. Very friendly and great guy to work with. The final products were beautiful...we'll love to watch them in the future. Every one in our families loved them as well...absolutely beautiful work! The wait was a bit longer than I had hoped for due to production issues. I had to follow-up a few times to check -in, but Hugs responded and produced a wonderful videos. Thanks so much for capturing our wedding and making it unique to us!
