Their song selection was on point, seamlessly mixing everything from classics to today’s hits. They kept the party going and made sure everyone was having a blast. We loved how they took our music preferences into account, adding in some personal touches that made the night even more special.
Not only did they keep the dance floor alive, but they also helped coordinate our timeline and announcements, which took a lot of stress off us. If you’re looking for DJs who are professional, fun, and know how to throw a great party, Matt and Jared are the way to go!

all my requested music and tied in other songs so perfectly. We met a couple weeks before the wedding to go over details and they really ensured all my questions and requests were asked and answered. So many of my guests have reached out and told me how much fun they had dancing and how good the music was! Thank you so much Matt & Jared!!! We used Matt for the video guestbook services only*- but oh my gosh was it a hit! Super affordable (do not try and rent a kiosk online...$$$$) and the guests seemed to really enjoy...
it. Guests could visit the station as many times as they liked which got extra fun once it was apparent they had multiple drinks in them. I will say that some of the messages were difficult to hear because of the music in the background, but that is no fault of Matt's- I would imagine if we had a larger venue it could have been clearer. So my suggestion would be that if you have a small place the noise level could effect the sound quality. Or just make sure your friends reaallly stick their faces closer to the ipad haha. Overall though, it was so fun- I am SO glad we decided to add this little "extra something" to the wedding. I am personally a little over the photo booths and thought this would be something unique that hasn't been overdone. Thank you again, Matt!

morable by the music they played, the timing of when they played it and the way they interacted with our guests. We received constant compliments from our guests on how they set the mood for the entire night. These guys are very knowledgeable, experienced, professional and just overall good guys that want to see your big day be that much better. From the beginning they made us aware of a good timeline to have along with certain situations that can arise and how to deal with them either before or after it happens. They gave great opinions and better ideas on what can be done. Also the communication through the cancellations due to COVID we’re great and they never made us stress losing them for our day. friends and met with Tim and Janet from Upbeat Entertainment. With Upbeat, you get more than a DJ, you also get an event coordinator. Tim, DJ, was GREAT! I never wanted to leave the dance floor because he kept playing great song after great song. My friends even requested a song that was very new and not all that popular, because it was my favorite, and he was able to get it on the spot. I cannot say enough great things about Tim, but I really want to focus my review on Janet. She is what made hiring a DJ worth it. I'm not sure how other DJs operate, but Janet was present the entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to make sure things were going smoothly and on time. She helped the bridesmaids time their entrances, introduced the bridal party (and triple checked to make sure all names were pronounced right), she got the speeches and first dances going at the right time. She even came to our rescue several times when we realized we forgot items (like a bag for the dollar or celebration, dance). Per my husband's family tradition, our evening ended with shots of Jameson for all. Janet made sure the bartenders had enough time to pour the shots before the last song and even brought them to the dance floor so she could pass them out. She was on top of her game all night and made sure things were running smoothly so that I didn't have to worry about it. USE UPBEAT ENTERTAINMENT!!! THEY ARE SO WORTH IT!!!!

ll out everything you want for music from the bridal party entrances, your first dance, cake cutting songs etc. You tell him what you don't want played and what type of music you prefer. He really sticks to your requests. I didn't want any rap played and songs that were even borderline rap he wouldn't play unless he got permission from me. He wouldn't run up to me about it either, he simply said it was on the do not play list. My friends were the ones that came up to me and wanted to know if I could request it because the DJ wouldn't play the song lol. He was a little shy when you meet him but don't let that fool you, he is a great MC. He helped keep the flow of the wedding going smoothly and he has such a wide range of songs you won't be disappointed. If he doesn't have a song, he can get it if you give him at least a day or two in advance. His pricing is very reasonable too. Great work Matt!! :)
