, hence the reason for not reaching out and also for asking you for a review🙂 I did search for your mentioned email that you said you sent and to date we cannot locate it, even searched in the junk, spam or trash folders. It does sadden my heart to hear what was written and in the 39 years this is a first issue at a ceremony, I can take the burden and be accountable as I expound. I did indeed start the recessional song "Times like these-Foo Fighters" when I was to play the processional "Bloom-Paper Kites", this aired for 2 seconds and I quickly made the correction and played out as Ashley noted. The ceremony we on perfectly and everyone was joyous thinking not to discuss with them bring them down by rehashing the past situation, they we having so much fun. We did have as she requested the first dance before dinner, Uncle Joe offered a welcome toast right after the dance. Vonderhaars had a buffet dinner next as we played the requested soundtrack for dinner. I then dedicated a special song from Ashley to Nina “Hawaiian wedding song-Elvis” as planned. The couple went out for sunset photos as I continued to move and play more up-tempo music rising the fun level as the guests enjoyed cupcakes and as the Ashley & Justin return from photographs. We brought the level back down and had 2 toasts from MH & BM. Then right after the toast at 7:12pm the dance floor opened and dancing was on all the way to the final song 2 ½ hours later, as I referred to the PL that was supplied very often playing the majority of Ashley & Justin’s requests. When Ashely came to me and asked for Zombie, it was at the same time I was cueing up "Kernkraft 400-Zombie Nation" requested by a guest, very ironic (this does happen more than you think lol). I just wanted to verify her request by asking who is it by again? We did have the extensive PL for the couple and I played 78% of the list over the 5.25 hr reception. We did play "Zombie-Cranberries" at 9:27pm and the 15-20 guests came in from the outdoor bar to dance to it. The I followed it by beat mixing in Weezer-Beverly Hills, Hollaback Girl, Yeah, Get Low as the guest went back out to the outdoor bar. The 8:30pm close time was just my input as I wanted your celebration to end with great memories and guests still present dancing the night away and sending you off with a big hooorah, instead of a fizzle and a soundtrack to cleanup as we did play the final song "All night long-Lionel Richie" at 9:45pm as planned. I do apologized for the 2 second situation during the ceremony, I do own it and it shows that we here at Upbeats DJ's are normal, human and we do not FABRICATE reviews like most DJ's here do. All rav reviews seems a bit odd to many. We wish you the very best and have a great first year of marriage. DJ Doug

o the review, the message was fairly straightforward and honest to the point of sharing our four decades of experience with couples and their desire for low budget DJ. One thing guest remember at a wedding celebration is how much fun they’ve had not what the flowers look like or was the chicken cooked well as much as they stick around have a great time and enjoy the atmosphere till the very end. A response was to give to you as insight into the Wedding universe and the vast value that you would receive with different companies. Since you don’t deal with weddings on a daily basis like we do over the past many years, sharing some insight and feedback from after their wedding comments from would be clients, and others that did indeed choose to go with a low budget DJ. Just like with most anything you definitely get what you pay for and I was trying to sit that expectation for you My apologies if it come off harsh but rather to deliver the truth and the real news before you experience something heartbreaking afterwards on your once in a lifetime, can’t redo wedding day.
