Both my older family members and the younger people loved how they looked which can be tricky with makeup. My mom and I were the only ones who did the trial and they took the feedback and notes from what we liked/didn't like very well.

o use my natural curls but I didn't even know if that would be possible. Dana and Steffani took my goals and ran with them, and I felt so beautiful! They did a wide range of looks for my bridesmaids and everyone ended up looking amazing. I would trust them to do any level of wedding hair and makeup, but if you prefer lighter makeup or have natural curls, don't hesitate to book with them!

The trial gave me the time to figure out how I wanted everything to look and ensured we were both on the same page. Heather was patient with me and even made sure that all of her makeup was gluten free. I loved my final wedding day look! My girls and I all looked our best because of Heather and I cannot thank her enough!

ry step of the way. They highly exceeded my expectations and we had 20 people! yes 20 people! get hair and makeup done and we finished right on time - there was absolutely no stress at all with this. In addition, they do services for men and people of color, which was hard to find in this area. My group was so diverse (black women in my bridal party, my MIL is Indian with thick hair down to her bottom, as examples) and everyone was very pleased with how they looked. The goal was for everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful and that is exactly what happened! I could not recommend them more. And of course, something will go wrong on your wedding day (for me we had some illnesses remove people from attendance) and they were really flexible with subbing out people to have their services instead. Thank you so much!!!

lled with hair and makeup--I know I was! We were quite a diverse group--me and my family are white/Jewish, my in-laws are from India--and they did a great job with our different skin tones.

p on time on the day with everything they needed, but we were still in a rush to finish in time for the photographer. Arguably, we were a bit slow to switch chairs. No one liked their makeup and had to touch it up many times, though the artist was super friendly and professional. Very expensive for what we got. Great with an updo, not so much with curls (which I should have gathered from the name)

I could have Steffani and Ashley F. by my side everyday because they made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. I hate giving myself compliments, but I couldn’t stop doing it when I saw my hair and makeup lol. Do yourself a favor and hire them for your wedding!!! They are the best out there.

go as planned, and my mom and I both left feeling extremely nervous and defeated. I had experience with Updos previously when they did my hair and makeup for my best friend's wedding 5 years ago. They did a fantastic job then, and I realized that we should have just gone with them in the first place despite the commute. My mom had the worst experience during her trial with our first salon, so was extremely nervous about our trial with Updos. Andy had us cracking up from the start, and Amanda was so kind and welcoming. They both made us feel so comfortable and we were so relieved when we saw the final outcome. We felt like movie stars! It was so easy to book with Updos and they were so kind despite some unusual circumstances and late notice on our part. The day of the wedding, the team showed up right on time to our venue in Pennsylvania and got down to business with my huge bridal party. Each of my 12 (!) bridesmaids are extremely different, but the team listened to their wishes thoughtfully and made them all feel beautiful. Amanda did an amazing job with my mom's hair, including adding a halo; which was fantastic because my mom was worried about her hair. Finally, my makeup and hair made me truly feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. My sister chose my dress for me because I loved wearing fairy princess dresses constantly growing up. The combination of my hair, makeup, and dress made me feel like a fairy princess. Andy, Amanda, and the team were so fun to dance and get ready with and were so kind throughout the whole experience. I truly can't recommend them enough.

Not only were they on time for our wedding services, but they ran ahead of schedule and we had plenty of extra time for any touch ups that were needed. Liseth arrived on time, put up with our stories and banter all morning, and completely knocked my hairstyle out of the park! So many complements the entire day and... it held the whole night! My hair is LONG and THICK and she came prepared. Couldn't recommend more!

and thorough, managing my unruly curly hair and all my bridesmaids' incredibly thick and curly hair into gorgeous updos! The only thing I would change is to budget a few extra minutes for each hair service, as the last person to get hair done felt a little rushed.
