photos leading up to the day for a couple of reasons. We didn't want to do a first look so we couldn't take certain photos before the ceremony, and there were also a lot of people to wrangle with a big bridal party and some family considerations. Plus, my husband really does not like posing for photos and I can never seem to keep my eyes open (lol), but Jade made the chaos of posing for photos such a breeze and captured so many beautiful shots and natural, candid moments. I was worried about having only one photographer, but Jade managed to somehow be everywhere all at once and capture everything. She also got great shots of our ceremony and reception set-up/decor, which is great both to showcase the amazing work of our other vendors as well as for us, since we didn't necessarily get a chance to see everything all set up before guests arrived. We recently got our photos back and I have just been smiling from ear to ear seeing how well they turned out and reliving all of the amazing memories. I am so glad Jade was available to capture our wedding day and I would absolutely recommend Uplift Photography to anyone planning their wedding!!

The sneak peeks we have seen so far look like they are out of a magazine- I am in awe of their talent and eye. Booking Uplift was the easiest decision I made in wedding planning and we could not be happier.

elp figure out how to fix it. I am not going to lie, I was a needy bride and needed to get certain pictures since my husbands parents are divorced. Both Jade and Tim were so nonchalant and were able to get every picture I needed, including s picture of my grooms entire extended family of over 50 people! Our pictures came out amazing and to think that I can only pick 70 out of the thousand that we have is crazy! It was important for us to have the photography fit our style and Jade did exactly that. It felt natural, not to pose-like and the essence of the day really came through. The pictures were beautiful, original and better than anything I could have hoped for. The video blew us away. AMAZING job Tim!! From the music to the editing, everything was absolutely perfect. s soon as it was my turn to get married, i reached out to Jade within a week of my own engagement. The services she provided were beyond my already-high expectations. Jade and Tim were extremely professional, responsive, and fun. They were receptive and catered to our wants. Uplift is also dabbling in videography, so we got a great bundle of the photos (2 photographers - ended up being 3) and a video commercial of our wedding - perfection! and under budget! First, our engagement shoots. Jade did her best to work with our hectic work schedules and despite her hestitations of booking too early in light of rain, she accommodated us. She traveled hours away from her home to meet us at my family's home for photos. She made us laugh the entire time and we had more photos to pick from than we knew what to do with! As for the wedding, i do not yet have our photos but am expecting more great results. Jade and Tim made us laugh the entire day, accommodated a gigantic bridal party and extended family. They checked in multiple times to make sure they got our must-shots (both before and during the wedding). They even made sure we knew they were leaving since we had not yet cut the cake and she wanted to make sure this memory was captured. I cannot speak more highly of Uplift. Every step of the way was calm, just what a bride needs. Their work speaks for itself, and we cannot wait for our photos! Bonus: they have let you download the photos so you can print your own while you await the books (if part of your package I presume). Thank you Uplift for helping us have the perfect wedding!

d etc and I kept coming across Uplift Photography. I fell in love with all of Jade and Tim's pictures!! I set up a time to meet with jade and she was awesome! So easy to talk to and share all of our wedding details with. She had great insight and showed me past brides ideas to help me visualize exactly what I was looking for. We did an engagement shoot which my fiancé at the time was not thrilled about having to do. We love pictures but were expecting an awkward 2 hours of posing etc, it was NOTHING like that. Within 5-10 minutes we were joking around with Jade and got some amazing shots. My fiancé was thrilled that we did the engagement shoot and it just made our wedding day that much smoother since we had already worked with Jade and felt super comfortable. I just got my full wedding album gallery yesterday and was left speechless at work. Jade and Tim were able to capture every special moment of our day and so many amazing candid ones as well. Jade and time are an awesome couple who have such a passion for their job. They even took us to a special/secret location at the Grandview where they shot some amazing photos of us by the Hudson! I cannot begin to thank Jade and Tim enough for spending the day with us and making it so much fun while capturing so many moments that we will treasure forever. Everyone told me my biggest regret would be not having a videographer, well I don't regret it one bit because Jade and Tim's pictures tell the story of our wedding day that no videographer would have been able to do.

but I wanted something more than the entirely traditional style that their photographer had. I found out about Jade via Facebook when one of my friends used her for her own wedding. The pictures were unbelievably beautiful- I mean just look at all the amazing pictures on Jade's blog site (http://upliftphotography.blogspot.com/). Jade and Tim are both such nice people and very comfortable to be around. My husband was hesitant about the photographer because he didn't want to look too "cheesy" in the pictures. After meeting with Jade and having her shoot our engagement session, he was so happy that we chose Uplift. The pictures really capture the moment and convey the love between us. I know it sounds corny- but it's true! She really knows how to capture a romantic moment. I would definitely recommend an engagement session- not only because you can meet Jade and hang out with her for the day, but because you will be so much more comfortable on the wedding day. Our bridal party loved Jade & Tim- I don't know how you couldn't! We have had many people compliment our pictures and ask about Uplift. Obviously I have only the best things to say, and would highly recommend them for any bride looking for a photographer.

Further, their blog posts took my breath away). I emailed my friend and she told me all about the research she did and how happy she was with her choice. I trusted her, as I know she really did take her time finding the perfect photographer for her big day. I immediately sent Jade and email providing my wedding date and asking her to give me some information about pricing. However, I had a bit of a unique situation: I lived in NYC with my fiancé who was in medical school at the time; my parents and wedding venue was 45 minutes north of the city in Westchester County; and while Jade and her husband Tim were more than happy to travel to meet us, it just didn't fit into my fiancé and my hectic work schedules. So Jade and I set up a phone meeting. Right off the bat we hit it off. We discussed everything. Things that I never in a million years thought were important enough to warrant a conversation- how many parents, grandparents, siblings will there be? Will you be taking pictures with god parents? Any little children involved? The best part was that I never had to worry about any of these little details after we talked about them that first day because Jade and Tim do this ALL THE TIME so I could leave all the "time-lining" and “logistical details” up to them. I never met Jade or Tim until the day of the wedding. This might sound strange but it is true. It didn't even matter, in the end. We had talked on the phone, texted, emailed so it felt totally normal. She came into my house the morning of and immediately started to work, taking pictures of everything: jewelry, flowers, my dress, shoes, etc. At first my mom was fussing around trying to move things and help her and she was so calm and quiet, almost like she wasn't even there and just told my mom with the biggest smile: "Don't worry about me at all! I am fine!" We still laugh about how quiet she was and how she was able to get those stunning pictures in our very normal looking living room. Aside from my absolutely stunning photos that I will have forever, I have one distinct memory from that day. It was right as I was getting into my dress and putting all the finishing touches on. I had my mom, 7 bridesmaids, a few aunts, my father, everyone surrounding me and I was starting to feel a little nervous and awkward and emotional. I didn't even need to say anything to Jade; she saw it in my eyes, on my face, and through her camera when no one else in the room noticed. She immediately asked everyone to leave the room for a few minutes so she could take some pictures with me alone. It really helped me get my thoughts together and take a quiet few minutes to enjoy the moment and what was going to be the best day of my life. All in all, I highly recommend Jade and Tim. They are a phenomenal, happy, smiling, goofy-and-adorably-in-love couple who made our day fun, made us feel at ease, and most importantly made taking a million pictures on a 90 degree afternoon fun.
