. Our engagement photos were unbelievable, Jade has a fantastic eye and the photos blew us away; we couldn't wait for our wedding pictures. A wedding in itself can be a bit chaotic but Jade and Tim's calm demeanor put us at ease. They were so easy to work with and captured our day perfectly. Again, I can't say enough about the high quality of their work as well as their professionalism. We can't thank them enough!

ithin a week of my own engagement. The services she provided were beyond my already-high expectations. Jade and Tim were extremely professional, responsive, and fun. They were receptive and catered to our wants. Uplift is also dabbling in videography, so we got a great bundle of the photos (2 photographers - ended up being 3) and a video commercial of our wedding - perfection! and under budget! First, our engagement shoots. Jade did her best to work with our hectic work schedules and despite her hestitations of booking too early in light of rain, she accommodated us. She traveled hours away from her home to meet us at my family's home for photos. She made us laugh the entire time and we had more photos to pick from than we knew what to do with! As for the wedding, i do not yet have our photos but am expecting more great results. Jade and Tim made us laugh the entire day, accommodated a gigantic bridal party and extended family. They checked in multiple times to make sure they got our must-shots (both before and during the wedding). They even made sure we knew they were leaving since we had not yet cut the cake and she wanted to make sure this memory was captured. I cannot speak more highly of Uplift. Every step of the way was calm, just what a bride needs. Their work speaks for itself, and we cannot wait for our photos! Bonus: they have let you download the photos so you can print your own while you await the books (if part of your package I presume). Thank you Uplift for helping us have the perfect wedding!

e with all of Jade and Tim's pictures!! I set up a time to meet with jade and she was awesome! So easy to talk to and share all of our wedding details with. She had great insight and showed me past brides ideas to help me visualize exactly what I was looking for. We did an engagement shoot which my fiancé at the time was not thrilled about having to do. We love pictures but were expecting an awkward 2 hours of posing etc, it was NOTHING like that. Within 5-10 minutes we were joking around with Jade and got some amazing shots. My fiancé was thrilled that we did the engagement shoot and it just made our wedding day that much smoother since we had already worked with Jade and felt super comfortable. I just got my full wedding album gallery yesterday and was left speechless at work. Jade and Tim were able to capture every special moment of our day and so many amazing candid ones as well. Jade and time are an awesome couple who have such a passion for their job. They even took us to a special/secret location at the Grandview where they shot some amazing photos of us by the Hudson! I cannot begin to thank Jade and Tim enough for spending the day with us and making it so much fun while capturing so many moments that we will treasure forever. Everyone told me my biggest regret would be not having a videographer, well I don't regret it one bit because Jade and Tim's pictures tell the story of our wedding day that no videographer would have been able to do.

Jade really calmed all my fears and anxiety. She answered so many questions and even helped me with things I was clueless about. She kept the group on schedule for pictures the day of the wedding so we didn't miss cocktail hour and enjoyed our big day. Jade and Tim truly are artists and have such an eye for capturing all the amazing moments that you may not remember during the whirlwind of a day. If I had to make my decision over again...I wouldn't think twice. A+++ in my book.

Many of my friends have praised the photos - exclaiming how gorgeous they are and what a great job our photographers did, especially since our wedding was in March and we didn't have the typical summery background. One of my favorite things about Jade and Tim was that they were not in your face like some other wedding photographers. They were able to get amazing photos without being intrusive. They also managed to get my husband who was not super excited about posing for hundreds of photos to actually enjoy himself! She put my mom and grandmother at ease. She had it covered and knew exactly what she was doing. We can't wait to see what her and Tim captured! Her packages are also incredibly reasonable. We did the top package which was the same as the base price for some other photographers and we know how talented Jade and Tim are!

There was nothing more important than knowing we were in good hands, and it was one less thing for us to worry about the day of the wedding. The final products - the engagement shoot and the wedding day - are picture perfect, and we are beyond in love with them. We are so proud of our photos, and will treasure them for the rest of our lives. Uplift will become a staple in our lives as we will continue to tap into their talent to document our future life events as we start to grow a family. There is no one else we would recommend more highly.

The pictures were unbelievably beautiful- I mean just look at all the amazing pictures on Jade's blog site (http://upliftphotography.blogspot.com/). Jade and Tim are both such nice people and very comfortable to be around. My husband was hesitant about the photographer because he didn't want to look too "cheesy" in the pictures. After meeting with Jade and having her shoot our engagement session, he was so happy that we chose Uplift. The pictures really capture the moment and convey the love between us. I know it sounds corny- but it's true! She really knows how to capture a romantic moment. I would definitely recommend an engagement session- not only because you can meet Jade and hang out with her for the day, but because you will be so much more comfortable on the wedding day. Our bridal party loved Jade & Tim- I don't know how you couldn't! We have had many people compliment our pictures and ask about Uplift. Obviously I have only the best things to say, and would highly recommend them for any bride looking for a photographer.

and so romantic (I mean, have you liked Uplift's Facebook page yet and seen their weekly updates from weddings? Further, their blog posts took my breath away). I emailed my friend and she told me all about the research she did and how happy she was with her choice. I trusted her, as I know she really did take her time finding the perfect photographer for her big day. I immediately sent Jade and email providing my wedding date and asking her to give me some information about pricing. However, I had a bit of a unique situation: I lived in NYC with my fiancé who was in medical school at the time; my parents and wedding venue was 45 minutes north of the city in Westchester County; and while Jade and her husband Tim were more than happy to travel to meet us, it just didn't fit into my fiancé and my hectic work schedules. So Jade and I set up a phone meeting. Right off the bat we hit it off. We discussed everything. Things that I never in a million years thought were important enough to warrant a conversation- how many parents, grandparents, siblings will there be? Will you be taking pictures with god parents? Any little children involved? The best part was that I never had to worry about any of these little details after we talked about them that first day because Jade and Tim do this ALL THE TIME so I could leave all the "time-lining" and “logistical details” up to them. I never met Jade or Tim until the day of the wedding. This might sound strange but it is true. It didn't even matter, in the end. We had talked on the phone, texted, emailed so it felt totally normal. She came into my house the morning of and immediately started to work, taking pictures of everything: jewelry, flowers, my dress, shoes, etc. At first my mom was fussing around trying to move things and help her and she was so calm and quiet, almost like she wasn't even there and just told my mom with the biggest smile: "Don't worry about me at all! I am fine!" We still laugh about how quiet she was and how she was able to get those stunning pictures in our very normal looking living room. Aside from my absolutely stunning photos that I will have forever, I have one distinct memory from that day. It was right as I was getting into my dress and putting all the finishing touches on. I had my mom, 7 bridesmaids, a few aunts, my father, everyone surrounding me and I was starting to feel a little nervous and awkward and emotional. I didn't even need to say anything to Jade; she saw it in my eyes, on my face, and through her camera when no one else in the room noticed. She immediately asked everyone to leave the room for a few minutes so she could take some pictures with me alone. It really helped me get my thoughts together and take a quiet few minutes to enjoy the moment and what was going to be the best day of my life. All in all, I highly recommend Jade and Tim. They are a phenomenal, happy, smiling, goofy-and-adorably-in-love couple who made our day fun, made us feel at ease, and most importantly made taking a million pictures on a 90 degree afternoon fun.

Jade suggested a schedule for the day and was so helpful in executing everything we wanted. She was also great about keeping my expectations in check about being realistic (we wanted to take a lot of group photos during cocktail hour) while remaining so nice. I couldn't imagine two better people to have spent the day with, or two people who are better suited to document weddings!

Bless both of them – it was 95 degrees and humid, and despite our entire party dripping in sweat, all the pictures came out amazing and you can’t even tell that we were hot! Jade and Tim were such troopers, carrying around all their equipment in the heat with smiling faces. We did a first look upon their suggestion, and it worked out great, giving us more time to enjoy our reception having had all of our couple and family shots done beforehand. I couldn't have wanted any more beautiful shots in our portfolio, and am 100% satisfied with the whole experience with Uplift. I at first was a little hesitant about the price of the packages; however, in retrospect, I can absolutely see the value and feel it was worth the money. The quality of the photos was superb, and we get countless and constant compliments on them. I am also planning on working with them for future photo shots for our growing family (baby #1 due in June!). I will treasure my wedding memories forever, and the photos from Uplift are the perfect representation of the best day of our lives!

Jade at a mutual friends' wedding. The photos on their website and blog were more than up to my then-fiance's elevated standards, and since they are based in nearby Connecticut instead of Manhattan, their prices were much more in line with our budget. We couldn't manage an in-person meeting, but I got such a good feeling about them through our email exchanges and their obviously fun-loving personalities demonstrated on their blog, we decided to go with our guts and book them. In a stroke of luck, they were already familiar with our reception site (the beautiful Fort Tryon Park in upper Manhattan), so very little time was wasted looking for great spots. Jade and Tim manage to engage you in a way that loosens you up, and makes you able to focus on the joy, fun, and romance of the day (rather than the potential stress), but when necessary, they virtually disappear to capture the festivities without interfering. We were also so glad to have scheduled our posed family and wedding party pictures before the ceremony. They came early, and took "getting ready" photos, followed by a "reveal", where bride and groom see each other for the first time. We then made our way over to the park and took the posed photos. By the time the ceremony happened, we were comfortable and relaxed, and the ceremony was the celebration we had hoped it would be. If we had waited until afterward, I think we would have been really nervous and stressed, and it wouldn't have been the lovefest it was. Also, we got to enjoy our cocktail hour, being whisked away only briefly to take some shots in some less-assuming, majestic parts of the park. To cap it off, we received the discs of photos with over a thousand beautiful photos to remember our day. It is a happy problem to have too many amazing photos to choose from. I can't recommend Uplift more. We have every intention of calling them up once we have a little one in need of a photo shoot.

We actually used these photos as a part of our wedding favor. On our wedding day they were so flexible and accomodating, making sure that every photo we wanted was taken. Jade and Tim definitely have a love for what they do and I honestly believe that is because they have so much love for each other and their family. When people see my wedding photos, the most common comment I receive about my pictures is that they look like they should be in a magazine. They are just that good. I must also mention that they believe less is more. Their album design is not over done, and they do not try to "work" the photos, the photos do all the talking.
