Raquel is so kind, easy to work with, and a true artist! I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted for my wedding hair, and she was able to give me a style that was better than I could've imagined! She was even able to squeeze my mom in and do her hair at the last minute, even though I only booked for myself. I would highly recommend working with her on your wedding day.

Raquel did an absolutely incredible job with my hair for my wedding on 04/28/23. I didn't know what I wanted, so I gave her a few pictures and after talking through it, she was able to create the updo of my dreams! I did a trial with her, and I couldn't believe how beautiful my hair turned out. Not only did she do an amazing job with my hair, she did my bridesmaids and my mom's hair as well. My wedding party looked stunning and our guests wouldn't stop complimenting our hair! I've recommended Raquel to all of my friends that are getting married, and I highly recommend a trial so you can get to know Raquel and try out what you're looking for. She was communicative, reasonably priced, prompt, happy, and I'm so grateful that I hired her! Thank you Raquel for everything!

Raquel is the sweetest! She is super professional and always positive. I am so happy I booked her to do hair for my wedding. She was prompt and made sure there was enough time in the day so that we weren’t rushed or felt stressed. My bridesmaids were all so happy with how their hair turned out and so was I. Also, all of her products and tools are super high quality! Highly recommend!

I used Uplifted for my hair, my bridesmaids, moms, and my flowergirl's hair. Raquel was timely with her communication, clear with pricing, and made sure that we were both prepared for my big day. She was able to be flexible and bring my vision to life. I have a picky mom and she did not have one complaint about her hair. Raquel checked in with me as she was doing my hair to make sure it was what I wanted from all angles, which I really appreciate. My hair stayed put and beautiful THE ENTIRE DAY AND NIGHT, even after some intense dancing. She was able to do my flower girls hair and it stayed put too; she is a very active almost 3 year old. I was impressed and everyone looked so beautiful!

When I was planning my wedding in Tucson, I knew that I wanted to work with a local hairstylist, and after taking a look at her Instagram profile and getting a quote, I knew I wanted to work with Raquel. I didn’t want a lot of fuss about the process but still wanted to be able to be able to have fun with my own style. I also live out of state and it was super easy communicating with Raquel via email and between that and just sharing a Pinterest link with her, she worked her magic and it was perfect. Thank you Raquel for your beautiful work and for being so easy to work and just a lovely human! Thanks for being a part of our big day—we wouldn’t have had it any other way!!!

If you’re looking for a TALENTED and SUPER SWEET hairstylist, Raquel is your girl! She made me feel very comfortable speaking up about what I liked and didn’t like, and she worked with me to find my PERFECT hairstyle. She truly went above and beyond and I will be forever grateful for her! My wedding hair was EXACTLY what I envisioned. She’s amazing!

Raquel was an angel!!! She was very flexible with my asks and her work was impeccable. She took her time, and made sure everything was looking just how I wanted it to. I got married in AZ but live in IL so I was nervous to not have a trail but Raquel was great and made sure that I was 100% happy! My hair stayed the entire day despite being married on a mountain and doing some hiking, and I got so many compliments on it!

Raquel was awesome to work with. She's an excellent communicator and very organized, which any bride knows is important in a vendor! We did a trial to test out what I liked and didn't like. And on the day of, my hair looked amazing and it was all done very quickly. Throughout the whole process, Raquel was really nice to talk to and get to know. She was also receptive to feedback and didn't mind changing something if I didn't like it. Raquel was also able to do my sister's hair in an updo that held up well in the Tucson heat. I really appreciate how easy it was to work with Raquel, I'd definitely recommend working with Uplifted if you have the chance!

I hired Raquel for my wedding and she styled myself, six bridesmaids, my mother, and my aunt. She did a wonderful job and was so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She worked well with my makeup artist and helped coordinate the day-of schedule so that no one was rushed and we had time before the wedding to freshen up. I also greatly appreciated her flexibility in meeting me for my hair trial, as I had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Her passion for styling is evident in her creativity and attention to detail and everyone’s hair looked gorgeous! 10/10 recommend!

Raquel was absolutely amazing! She was very timely in communication and creating a timeline based off of what time you need everyone to be ready. Additionally, Raquel is supppper nice and very personable while doing you hair. She did my hair wonderfully. I gave her a huge hug, I was so happy.

Raquel was the literal best! She was the sweetest, most organized and easy person to work with. From our first phone call to meeting her in person, I knew she was going to be a wonderful vendor for our wedding! She made my wedding hair dreams come to life! And also did a wonderful job with a few of my bridesmaids that decided to have their hair done too! Would highly recommend!!!

Could not rave about Raquel more. I’ve had some not so good updo experiences in the past, but Raquel is incredible. Even better than the photos I showed her, without a trial run. I had multiple guests tell me that her work was the best they’d seen at a wedding. She’s also so incredibly kind and a joy to be around. HIGHLY recommend ❤️

Raquel was the absolute best! She styled my hair for a wedding alongside 2 other bridesmaids. She was incredibly patient and exudes calmness which is essential when getting ready for a big event. She managed her time well between the three of us and our hair turned out amazing, and truly stayed together throughout the event (even survived a bouncy house!). I hired Raquel for my wedding and she styled three bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated how responsive she was from the moment I contacted her. She was punctual, professional, and all my girls felt comfortable with her. My hair has never looked better and everyone was super happy with her work! Highly recommend!

Raquel was a lifesaver! As a guest of a wedding, I procrastinated in making a hair appointment but Raquel was incredibly accommodating to my last minute scheduling. She came to my hotel & did a fabulous blowout that lasted days (I'm writing this review on the Tuesday after a Saturday wedding & my hair still looks good). Would absolutely hire Raquel again for any special occasion!

She came early, worked quickly, and was so pleasant to myself and my three family members receiving her hair service. Raquel was awesome! We did a trial run on my hair a week before the wedding and she had great input while still working with what I wanted. The day of the wedding she did an awesome job on my hair and was available to do a retouch after the ceremony. Not only that but she also helped my bridesmaids with last minute adjustments without my asking. She helped me take off my veil for the reception as well which was hugely appreciated as I didn’t want to mess up my hair. Overall, I loved her people skills and flexibility, not to mention her overall positive attitude and friendliness with my bridal party. I highly recommend Uplifted!

Raquel is something special. She was so kind to do my hair along with 2 other bridesmaids for a wedding and the finished looks exceeded our expectations. Prior to the wedding day she coordinated everything down to the minute to make sure we had time to rotate between hair and makeup. Her efficiency helped us have extra time to relax. I had provided her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and her attention to detail assured that the look was perfect. Her bubbly personality made this day so much fun. I plan on hiring Raquel for any future events and would recommend her to anyone I come across.

First off, Raquel was everything I needed her to be. She has the sweetest personality and very easy to talk to. All of our hair looked absolutely amazing. She handled my 9 & 5 year old exceptionally well too which was so nice. They looked like little princesses. My hair looked stunning and stayed up for 48 hours before I took it down myself. I actually found Raquel on Instagram and I am so thankful I did. We were all very comfortable it was almost like she had always been apart of our family!
