- Heather DavisOwnerHeather Davis is an Asheville-based artist and entrepreneur and the founder of UpMarket Gallery on historic North Market Street. Guided by a deep love of art, historic preservation, and bringing people together, she led the three-year restoration of three 100-year-old buildings into a vibrant creative hub. Built with the hands of local craftspeople and filled with original architectural details, UpMarket is a place where artists, art lovers, and small businesses connect, create, and thrive. For Heather, the gallery is more than a space—it’s an experience rooted in joy, beauty, and the shared energy that happens when people gather around art.
