My husband and I didn’t have time to do the food tasting since we live out of state, so we read the reviews and took people’s words for it and let me say the reviews did not lie!! The food was soooo good! Our guest would not stop raving about it and asking if the food was homemade and brought to the venue! I never thought catering food could be so tasty!

ated. The wedding venue’s dance floor was as slippery as a Slip and Slide and the reception tent was further away from the Upohar Food Truck than we had planned. One would think it was a disaster and the bride went screaming into the night. Well…if you thought that.....you would be wrong. The Upohar food servers were amazing. They took everything in stride and and kept it going. Their confidence and reassuring manner kept the bride (me) cool and calm because they had everything under control. They kept the party going when it could have been a disaster. They served the Puerto Rican Pernil, Jerk Chicken, and North Indian Saag Paneer as well as providing the chicken and beef skewers as appetizers. The best part is that everyone...and I mean EVERYONE....raved about the food. As Steve and I made our rounds during the meal....every single table commented on how incredible the food was. We also had one of Upohar's bartenders. He was also professional yet very friendly and my guests loved him. (My sister especially appreciated how he was always ready with the "adult" punch whenever she approached.) Working and planning with Upohar was always easy. They were always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to make my wedding special. In fact...they came to the venue the day before to help with logistics for their truck and finalize the time. Best of all...they are all exceptionally friendly. It was like having your family and friends serve your meal. I highly recommend Upohar for any party, reception, or other gathering. Their prices are great, they will work with you on all aspects of the planning, and their food is amazing. They truly did everything they could to make our wedding a huge success....in spite of the rain.

We did a tasting at Upohar to determine the menu and all of it was so good. So good that it was difficult to choose what to put on our menu, which is a good problem to have. With plenty of options for all diets, from GF to vegan, we wanted all of our guests to leave satisfied. Many of our guests let us know how much they loved the food afterward, which made us so happy because we certainly chose a more adventurous wedding menu than the typical wedding fare. The empanadas, rice and beans, plantains, chicken, and veggies paired together perfectly. On the actual day of the wedding, Upohar's team was early and got everything set up and ready without needing us, which was ideal. Everything went off without a hitch. They have many options available and can customize your menu based on your preferences and dietary needs (ex. the base menu is vegan and you can add your choice of protein). Our menu included pernil (our favorite), Cuban black beans, coconut & yellow rice, mango salsa, and cucumber aachar. They also provided many invaluable services, including coordinating bartending and a fresh made stroopie station along with an amazing coordinator who was a tremendous help! They were also very flexible when COVID changed our original plans and we would definitely recommend choosing them for all your catering needs!

best I’ve had (grandma will always have to be the top). It was so tender yet flavorful. Even my own grandma wanted to take the leftovers home. We had arroz con gandules, maduros, chicken/beef empanadas, and pollo guisado also and they were just as delicious and amazing. Stephanie was amazing to work with our short timeline and distance from our venue. She was so accommodating during the whole process and even helped us to add chicken to our menu only a few days prior to our dinner. The food was out of this world, and our baker, who happens to also be a friend, said it was the first wedding in Lancaster County that she's attended and saw people get up for seconds. They offered to clean trash off the tables, as well, and take the trash with them to dispose of it off-site. We were very impressed by and pleased with their service!

ea to Sri at Global Flavors that they would more than deliver. Sri developed a beautiful menu to seamlessly blend the two together and was extremely knowledgeable about a variety of Peruvian dishes. Both our Peruvian-American and conservative Pennsylvania Dutch family members loved the food including the many children in attendance. In fact we had so many guests comment on how delicious the food was both at the wedding and weeks later. Favorites included ceviche, pollo al horno, and PA Dutch chow chow. The entire team at Global Flavors was wonderful to work with and made things so easy for us, especially Sri and Lex. An added bonus was the optional table linen and china rental they supplied which made less work for us. We loved that despite tailoring a menu just for us and serving over 120 guests that things were still affordable. They had excellent communication from day one. We could not be more pleased with our catering experience!
