un and made everyone look fantastic! I got so many compliments on how great we all looked. They were on time the day of and everything ran smoothly. I’d definitely use them again!

air extensions which was a big thing for me when looking for a stylist. They recreated the look I was going for beautifully and were so quick and professional on the day of! I also used them for my blowout for the rehearsal dinner before the wedding. The salon was very clean and well decorated, all of the staff was very polite and welcoming with us.

t even want to write this review but the hair and makeup was the thing I was the MOST looking forward to. When I came to leave a review, I read a few others and realized this is not the first time someone had my EXACT same experience. Mild back story, I live in Texas, drove almost 7 hours solely to do the trial, already paid a non refundable deposit, and paid for both services for trial hair and makeup, so I was invested lol. Lyndsey was my hair stylist, and like a previous review, only spent 15 minutes on my hair during the trial. I didn’t say anything negative when she presented the finish work, and tipped 20% and paid in full, then cried in the car lol. If I am paying for a service, the LEAST you could do is spend time on that service. Now, if that 15 minutes had created a master piece, no complaints. My curls looked terrible, the entire head was super frizzy, absolutely no effort was made. I didn’t say anything while I’m in the chair because if she was comfortable with that as the hair stylist being a representation of her work, that was all I needed to know. I mention her name specifically because another review had the exact same issue and then had a horrible wedding day experience. I actually really liked my make up person, but I didn’t like the style of make up. She also applied my make up on top of my existing make up. I think, despite that, I would have hired just her if I had not just survived the hair experience first and spent the entire rest of the visit trying not to cry lol. I paid in full and tipped, so both these women were not effected financially by my experience. Now me, I paid the non refundable deposit AND the fee for the trial, which totaled over $400. And still cancelled them. I did not ask for a refund. So this is a super honest, $400 review, to NOT have them at my wedding. After crying and stressing about the lost money and not knowing where I would find someone to do my hair and makeup, I found another team that did my trial the NEXT day, free of charge, after I showed them pictures of what Up’sa daisy did and I LOVED IT. They listened, spent a great deal of time prepping my face prior to make up application, and my hair looked FLAWLESS, with no added direction from me. If you are even remotely in doubt about your trial experience, just take the L, part ways, and I promise their our other teams out there.

ime! I booked them as an out of town bride, and each assured me that without having done a trial, on wedding day they’d make sure I’d have space to give feedback if I wanted anything different. Naturally though everything for hair and make up that they chose was perfect, and I felt absolutely beautiful the whole day! I highly recommend Up’sa Daisy Salon for any and every kind of event!!

Suzette addressed all my concerns and insecurities and made me feel pretty. She did the makeup for all the bridesmaids and two moms in addition to the bride. She did Emily's makeup on at least seven occasions during this time. Emily always went back to Suzette. I highly recommend her. She is so talented and is reasonably priced. han two hours that day. I did message Lyndsey and tell her that I was disappointed. She responded with ok we will just leave your hair in curlers. Do note that every time I go to my hair dresser and she curls me hair it lasts through the next day. Come the day of the wedding, my hair looked so subpar and nothing like a bride. My curls started falling right when they left, before I even stepped outside the house. They were so rushed. I did tell them ahead of time there was goin to be 18 ladies and mostly up-dos. Two of them managed to get through 18 girls in less than 2 hours time. I actually was told by one of my bridesmaids that they were rushing to get to another wedding after us. They did not care for my day or respect that we paid them at all. My hair didn't look good at all for my wedding. I was so not happy. They also only take cash. They don't take venmo or check, which made it extra difficult for us. I would not pick them for your wedding day. I was upset to have them for mine. The up-close photos came out terrible because my hair was terrible. The far away ones look better because my veil hid my fallen curls.

They listened to what I wanted and I was very pleased with everything they did for me. Suzette and Whitney also did hair and makeup for all my bridesmaids and the moms. Everyone looked gorgeous. ironment. The girls I had for my trial were more interesting in gossiping than me. The hair girl was sweet, but obviously has not worked with thick-haired girls. My curls didn't hold for five minutes, and the style I wanted wasn't impressing upon her. Also they did makeup first, even after requesting the other way around because tender head= crazy sinuses= makeup mess= you get the picture. The makeup lady was much worse. Her room was a tiny cramped room with a DISASTER of old, clumpy, excessively used makeup; to the point where you could see the bottom of eyeshadow tins! Not cool. I was already skeptical since I wanted "full glam", and since she was at least 20 years older than me, I figured I'd be getting full "gram", but tried to be nice anyways. The makeup products she used were not quality ones, I specifically said I do not/will not be using airbrush foundation for my wedding. What does she do? Airbrush. My makeup looked old, dingy, and earthy toned. The airbrush sunk into every crease, making have a washboard forehead and extreme crows feet( that I don't really have) immediately. Very very boring look; as if I had no makeup at all. I walked out looking 10 years older, which was not what I was going for. If you are in your early 20s I seriously do NOT recommend this place, you will be looking MUCH older/rougher when you leave. I promptly decided HARD no. I only remember one of the ladies was named Suzette, the other I'm not sure. Mind you these trial services are not cheap!

Hurricane Barry decided to come on our wedding weekend, I was very nervous about all of my vendors being able to make it in. Suzette and Whitney showed up Saturday morning right on time and ready to work! They were so chill and it was just what I needed when it seemed everything around me was going crazy! Not only did they do a fantastic job, but I think it tells a lot about their work that not a single bridesmaid or me had to touch up our makeup or hair despite second lining in the rain! They are a dependable and fun group of girls to work with! I highly suggest them. You get what you pay for and actually more. Thank you so much Suzette and Whitney for making me and my girls look amazing on my day despite the weather!

Above all, I will never forget how gracious Up'Sa Daisy was to me when my flight to NOLA was cancelled and moved back a day...causing me to miss my hair and makeup trial that had been scheduled for months! I was able to get on a flight a day later than planned, and Up'Sa Daisy found a new time to meet with me, despite them having a PACKED schedule. I was so incredibly touched that they were able to get my hair and makeup trial in on such late notice, and I LOVE the work they did, both at my trial and on my wedding day. Suzette and Whitney, y'all did amazing work - my entire bridal party looked FLAWLESS. <3 So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

unning!! Lauren was so good with make up especially with my mom who didn’t like too much on. She helped her create the most perfect look for her and did the same thing for each girl to match their different sequined dresses. Lyndsay is absolutely amazing with hair and can create the most beautiful up-do in a very short amount of time. They arrived on time and were there for however long it took them to create what everyone wanted. I absolutely loved them and the look they created for me!

time to spare to do touch-ups. All of my girls loved their hair and makeup. Also, their hair and makeup lasted through an outdoor ceremony and reception and no ones makeup had to be touched up! I even woke up the following morning and my makeup still looked great! I recommend Up'Sa Daisy for any event anyone asks for.

They are both so friendly and relaxed and will travel to you at your getting ready location. My girls loved how they look and I felt amazing! Suzette also did a spray tan for me for the wedding and it turned out perfect! Absolutely recommend them for all beauty needs!

to try something 1/2 up. Both trials were great but the wedding day knocked those trials out of the park. She took her time on my hair which turned out way better than I ever expected and it lasted all night long. It was absolutely beautiful. As far as the bridesmaids and mothers, almost everyone gave pictures or suggestions on how they wanted their hair done and based on pictures everyone looked to have gotten what they wanted and looked great. Suzette, I did one trial with Suzette for my engagement photos and knew she had nailed and did not need to do another one. On the wedding day she did everyone's makeup beautifully. A few bridesmaids wanted a little different look and showed her pictures and Suzette recreated them all perfectly. I did almost all my communicating through Suzette which was a breeze to do the entire time. We booked my wedding about 9 months before and she never forgot about me or the plans. They both showed up right on time and started working pretty quickly. I would say each girl took between 30-40 minutes per person. The bride was closer to 45 minutes for each task. They came to the house where we all were getting ready and brought everything they needed to perform the tasks. I brought extra mirrors and extension cords so that they could sit wherever they wanted in the house to perform all the work.

so picky when it comes to up-dos and professional make-up and my anxiety was a little high knowing it was my wedding day and time was limited if I wasn't happy. Needless to say, I could not have been happier with both my hair and make-up. I gave them an array of pictures and both came out better than I could have pictured. Not only was I beyond happy with everything, so was each member of my bridal party!
