Best Reception ever! We had an excellent experience renting the Upstairs at Virginia’s for our private reception! The food was delicious and service was just as amazing! Communication was clear and concise while planning the event. Everything went off great! Will definitely use them again!

We had our "night before" wedding welcome party at Virginia's. The venue was perfect for the size of group that we had (~40 people) and the food was amazing. We looked at several of the Holy City Hospitality venues but ultimately chose Virginia's based on the food. We wanted southern, soul food and Virginia's did not disappoint! They were also flexible about providing vegan and gluten free plates for guests with special diets. I would definitely recommend Virginia's for a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch!

the same weekend as the bridge run so I decided to move it away from the Mt Pleasant area! Because of that, I ended up booking Virginia's on King a little more last minute than I would have liked. I wanted somewhere that was affordable, easily accessible and in the heart of Charleston that my family and friends could be comfortable in. I hadn't tried the food at Virginia's on King except brunch one time a couple of years ago so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. The food was great and all of our guests really enjoyed their meals with no complaints!! We had a guest with Celiac disease and they were VERY accommodating with no issues or questions asked at all! The service was amazing the night of our rehearsal dinner, they checked in with us several times to make sure everything was perfect. The bar setup was perfect and the room was a PERFECT size for about 40 guests! We were all comfortable, the decor was nice and very southern/charleston, and everything else was great! No complaints at all and definitely one of the more affordable options in Charleston! Would highly recommend!

The food was wonderful. I did passed hors d'oeuvres and stations for a day wedding. I also asked for special mini pies. I loved all the food but my favorite was the blueberry mini ...
pie, and it wasn't even on their menu. They really work with you for special orders. I also really enjoyed the mac and cheese and lobster. Also their caprese salad was so cute and served on mini forks.
