We are so thankful we found Ken Bowers with Upstate Wedding Officiant for our wedding ceremony. From the very beginning, Ken made the entire process feel personal, easy, and meanin...
gful. Before our special day, he held meetings with us to truly get to know us as a couple, which made such a difference when it came time for our ceremony.
Ken created a ceremony that felt personal, intimate, and completely true to us. He included all of the elements that were important to us, while also adding special moments of his own that made the ceremony even more meaningful. It never felt generic or rushed. It felt thoughtful, intentional, and beautifully centered around our love and commitment.
He also guided us through every step of the legal side of getting married. Ken helped us with the application process, walked us through the signing, handled the paperwork, and submitted the official certificate for us. That peace of mind was such a blessing, especially during an elopement.
Because we eloped, it was just Ken, our photographer, and the two of us. Even with such a small ceremony, Ken made the moment feel full, sacred, and complete. Without him, we truly could not have done it. He played such an important role in making our wedding day smooth, personal, and unforgettable.
We would absolutely recommend Ken to any couple looking for an officiant who is kind, professional, organized, and deeply intentional. He helped make our ceremony everything we hoped it would be.

Ken met all the criteria and was so helpful by informing us how to get our license, how to prepare for the big day, and reassuring us that everything will go smoothly. And it did! itant about my non-traditional ceremony, but Ken did a great job including some "light religion" to satisfy everyone. Not only did he do a fantastic job officiating, he was also very helpful with the license process and answered many of our pre-wedding questions/concerns.
