We held our rehearsal dinner in the party room in the basement at Upstream, where we had about 40 people for a buffet-style meal. Communication with Upstream went very well, and Maria was quick to respond to any questions we might have had. The food and service were excellent; I would recommend it!

We had a "Night before the Wedding" dinner in the lower level room at the Upstream. It was awesome! The set up was great and the food was delicious! Maria was easy to work with! The bartender, Brian, and the server, Tim, were amazing! They made the night even more incredible by how special they made us feel and how incredibly hard they worked! From the minute we walked in, I felt that they would do anything to make sure the night went smoothly! They were able accommodate a few gluten free guests and a few kids, which we really appreciated. The space was perfect and everyone really enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere! I would 100% recommend Upstream for special events!

When it's time for family or friends or colleagues or all three to get together and literally break bread, there are few places more apropos to hold such a shindig than an Upstream banquet room. The fact that our banquet rooms include actual banquets may be obvious to some, but should be considered and appreciated by all. After more than 20 years in the Old Market, we know a thing or thirty about hosting a soiree. Our rooms are inviting and often billiard-laden. Our menu can be whatever your heart desires. And let's not forget our beer. Because that would be sad. So when you're ready to impress your guests with exquisite fare, superior service, stunning table settings and much more we'll have a room waiting.

Maria has spent most of the last 23 years at Upstream Brewing Company. She has spent all of her career in hospitality and event management and has her degree from the Culinary Institute of America. When she isn't at Upstream she teaches exercise classes at the YMCA and is an event producer for a local wedding planner. She loves planning a party!

xactly what we wanted. Our families and wedding party had a chance to relax and just talk before the wedding. Our out of town guest commented on how nice the facility was. Many guests raved about the catfish and the dessert tray. Maria and her team made our special weekend wonderful. My husband and I plan to come back to eat there again the next time we visit Omaha.

e upstairs room meant that would be the time the food would be out --- it wasn't. We booked the room and told our guests to arrive around 7:15pm, but when we got there, the staff told us the food would come out around 8pm. Seriously?! If I had known that, I would have told people to come later. So that was a little awkward just having all our guests wait around for 45 minutes. That aspect wasn't made clear to us when we booked. Also, the room definitely did not hold as many people as we were told it would. I was a little relieved that some people who RSVP'd didn't end up showing up, because there would not have been room for them to sit. I will say though, the atmosphere was great, and we had our own bartender and bar upstairs, which was convenient for our guests. Overall, it was good, but not great in my opinion for a rehearsal dinner. But for everyday dining, I do like their food.

ffet dinner and the food was phenomenal!!! Our wait staff was very very very VERY good! They were extremely helpful during the course of our reception and made sure we had everything we needed at any given moment. We also had the pool room attached and my guests loved being able to go shoot some pool after they finished eating. Upstream was able to accommodate a cake table and a small dance area for The First Dance, Father-Bride Dance, Bouquet Toss, etc. and there was even enough room for a chunk of my guests to get up and bust a move after all the "special dances" were done! Upstream was also able to accommodate our music selection by hooking up our iPod to their sound system. We also had our wedding cakes done by Dorothy at Upstream and they turned out great!! Maria and her crew are amazing and we are very appreciative of everything they did to make our wedding reception unforgettable! My husband and I would recommend this venue for any small reception or rehearsal dinner! We are more than pleased!! THANK YOU, UPSTREAM!!
