I really enjoyed working with Brandon to plan for my wedding. He is super friendly and easy to work with. He provided me a great overview of the music I need to choose and he had checkpoints with me throughout the year to make sure everything was organized. Our DJ Cory was great and our guests really enjoyed the dance floor!

A direct quote from one of my guests "This DJ is playing banger after banger!" Brandon made the decision to work with him easy from the beginning - he was so responsive in our initial requests and we spoke 3 times within a few weeks of the wedding to make sure he had all of the details. Our ceremony and reception were flawless. Ceremony: We got married outside in a field and I was nervous that guests wouldn't be able to hear the ceremony - Brandon assured me that he would make sure the mics were working and I had guests coming up to me afterwards saying that they could hear everything perfectly and loved it. Brandon even played acoustic guitar as our processional music (I think he even learned a specific Adele song I requested for our procession) and it was absolutely beautiful. Reception: Brandon nailed every song we wanted played. He listened to every request, from "do not play songs" to the specific timing each of our first dance/parent dance songs perfectly. We gave him guidelines of songs to play during cocktail hour, dinner and reception and he followed them perfectly - our guests kept complimenting what a great variety of music he played, including 80s and 90s pop, early 00s hip hop, 80s rock and even some Bee Gee's Music was one of our top priorities at our wedding and Brandon was 100% the right choice. He made planning stress free and our dance floor was packed the minute it opened to the minute the reception ended. I can't thank him enough and highly recommend Uptown Down Entertainment.

We had Uptown Down Entertainment play for our wedding, and Brandon and his team were very professional and made planning stress free! Their music was incredible and made our reception so much fun for us and for our guests. I would highly recommend using them!

We hired this band for our wedding and they were awesome! Brandon was easy to contact and made all of our requests happen. The band was amazing and we had so many compliments on them. They were so easy to work with and their price is all inclusive - no nickel and dime craziness. We could not have asked for a better band and I would recommend them to anyone!

Incredible band with lots of personality and an amazing sound. They are such great performers and their music is fantastic. I also love how professionally they are all dressed and how they interact with guests. Would highly recommend to all couples getting married in Atlanta who want a fabulous band to keep guests on the dance floor all night!

We hired Uptown Down as our wedding band (5 piece) - it was a great decision! Brandon is very easy to work with and super flexible with meetings. Everyone kept talking about how great the band was and the dance floor didn't slow down the entire night! They can customize the ceremony and reception to however you would like it, plus Brandon is great with the crowd. Uptown Down is playing a friend's wedding again in a few months and we can't wait!

Brandon at Uptown Down made our wedding entertainment dreams come to life! From the beginning of the planning process, we met him for coffee and discussed our vision. He was very receptive to our ideas and coordinated a package that included DJ, supplemental saxophone player, string duo for the ceremony, and photobooth for the reception. Closer to the wedding, finalizing the details with him was easy and he was very accommodating to our busy schedules. He made sure everything ran smooth on our big day... including keeping people on the dance floor immediately after dinner (when they weren't enjoying the photobooth), and the crowd favorite was the string duo playing "despacito" and the Game of Thrones theme song during our ceremony... WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND their amazing services... Thank you for everything Uptown!!

The team at Uptown Down Entertainment is phenomenal! They really know how to play the right music to get everyone out on the dance floor and keep them having a great time all night long. Brandon and Uptown Down Entertainment made our wedding reception so much fun for all - so many guests came up to us and commented on how much fun they were having and how great the music was. Brandon did a fantastic job changing the atmosphere of the reception as the night went on from dinner, to cake and toasts, to dancing and partying. Also just as important, we were planning our wedding from out of state, so it meant a lot to us that when we visited Atlanta, Brandon made time to see us on the weekends (even though he was probably really busy!) His interest in really getting to know us and flexibility to make that happen were invaluable. We would definitely work with Brandon and Uptown Down Entertainment again!!

We hired Uptown Down Entertainment for our wedding and could not have had a better experience! Brandon was amazing from the start and did everything he could to work with us on finding an affordable, reasonable package. He responded to all of our inquiries quickly and always seemed excited and happy to be working with us. Our DJ, Corey, was wonderful and got tons of compliments throughout the day and night of our wedding! (He was even able to play live piano for me as I walked down the aisle, which was perfect.) The music at the reception was great and everything went off without a hitch! We can't believe how lucky we were to find Uptown Down Entertainment -- we received the best possible experience for a very fair price!

I had the opportunity to work with Brandon from Uptown Down Entertainment in one of the weddings I coordinated in Roswell, GA. Brandon’s professionalism was instantly apparent. He has by far been one of the best live performers during a ceremony. He did a great job coordinating with me on the timing of the songs during the processional and recessional. Not only this, the songs sounded fantastic. The ceremony went smooth and exactly as planned. It was a total success. I always appreciate wedding vendors like Brandon.

We absolutely LOVED our experience with the Uptown Down band! Brandon was incredibly accommodating to our vision for the wedding, going above and beyond to make sure everything was just what we wanted. He made it a point to meet with both of us prior to us signing the contract to make sure we were comfortable with everything, invited us to a show he was playing so we could "preview" their work, and ensured that we could get what we wanted with our limited budget! Our guests absolutely LOVED the mix of music, and enjoyed dancing the night away! We couldn't have been more pleased with the level of professionalism from this group. Definitely check them out!

I can't express how incredibly AMAZING Uptown Down was at our wedding! Brandon and group were incredibly professional in the months leading up to the wedding and day of they were fantastic! Over a month after our wedding I still have guests commenting on "our band"!!! Thank you Uptown Down, you guys literally ROCK! PS - if you can afford to add the horns do it!!! You will not be sorry!!!

Brandon and his band were phenomenal entertainment for my wedding reception. Before the event, Brandon was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. During the reception, Brandon also did a fantastic job as MC, facilitating transitions seamlessly. The Uptown Down Band was a huge hit at our wedding! Our guests included many professional musicians, and everyone was complimentary of the group. They were easy to work with, helped us find the perfect songs and were always quick to respond to any questions. You won't be disappointed in this group!

Uptown Downtown Entertainment is awesome! From the booking process to the last song, they are on top of everything! The booking process was so easy! They showed up early and were very prepared. The dance floor was packed and the band was super accommodation to all requests. This was one of the most memorable parts of the wedding! We had a blast and all the guests still talk about what a great time they had.

We were photographing a wedding where Uptown Down was playing music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception, with a full band and a horn section. What an amazing show they put on! Charismatic, quality, talented musicians, great crowd interaction, great energy, professional appearance and behavior all around. We had such a great time getting to watch them work.

I booked Uptown Down Band for my sorority's formal at Piedmont Park, and I couldn't have been more impressed! The entire booking process was very easy and the band took care of every detail. They took all my requests into consideration and created a set list that had everyone at the event dancing all night! This band is overall a fantastic group of performers that are fun and professional! We had the best time with them and people are still talking about how great they were!

Brandon and the guys of The Uptown Down Band were awesome to work with! He made booking and the whole process incredibly easy for my wife and I. They came very well prepared and made the night 100x better. We’re still getting compliments about them from our friends and family!
