o but once we met it went great! He incorporated Spanish into our reception which meant a lot to me for my family. The vibes were high all night but make sure to let them know to use the music you curate in your playlist. I provided 4hrs worth of music and maybe heard a little less than half of the songs we picked. Slow songs played was maybe 4? Was a little tough bc our reception was from 6-11:30. I did however have a special recording played in honor of my father and Alejandro executed that perfectly, it was so special and brought the room to tears. One final note was that we had cold sparks for our exit with sparklers(we had these) and those were not there when we left.
Truly overall it was a good experience with the team just small details that need to be nailed down.
Easy and enjoyable to work with!

ighting, pyro, and an epic playlist. Justin and his team completely understood what we wanted and ran with it. The final result was nothing short of perfect. We had an absolute BLAST at our wedding and have heard nothing but incredible things from all of our guests about every element of the incredible dance party. There is not a single thing about the set that we'd have wanted any different. We're already trying to make up a reason to throw another party with Uptown!! If you are looking for an amazing party that your guests won't be able to stop talking about, look no further and book Uptown. You definitely won't regret it.

songs - he made amazing suggestions and truly captured the feel I asked for during every part of the wedding. We had Uptown for the ceremony, reception, and the mirror Photo Booth. They gave me so much ease and confidence before the wedding and everything turned out amazing. Getting an album with everyone's photos at the Photo Booth (which was a huge hit!) was so special! We got to look through the photos after the wedding and relive the fun through everyone else's perspective. AND we truly got a tonnnnn of compliments on the music and how fun the reception was! I would recommend Uptown Entertainment to literally everyone :)

added this on to their DJ package because the groom’s best man was deployed. He gave his speech on this screen. How freaking cool that they got to experience this because of Uptown. I know this moment was so special not just to them but also myself. The guys at uptown prepped me before the wedding, so I brought some hard drives and a laptop, edited a sneak peek during dinner and the team put it in a slide show during the reception. What a wholesome, authentic experience it was for me to see the reactions of my couple and all of their favorite people seeing these photos. I was fighting back tears. Thank you Uptown for such an amazing experience. Book these guys and get the damn luxe screen.
My guests raved about how amazing and talented our DJ was! He was perfect for our wedding and the photo booth was a hit! We had absolutely choose them again!

if you've been creating a playlist you can upload it that way. They responded very quickly to my e-mails and would send check-in e-mails along the way which was very reassuring. I didn't have to worry about being forgotten. My guests also raved about how amazing the music was and how much fun the DJ was. I would highly recommend them and would use them again myself in a heartbeat.

Best DJ ever! He was a last minute fill-in when our original DJ tested positive for Covid. He was amazing. So energetic and fun - we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

ise he is a 15/10 - he's so sweet! He immediately made us feel comfortable and provided guidance when needed with our music selection.
At the actual event he was perfection - he got our guests on their feet and dancing for the entire night. We were at another wedding several weekends later and were able to see a stark contrast between our DJ and theirs... no need to look further - Arley with Uptown Entertainment has it all!!

out having them at our wedding, and I am sooo glad we did. DJ Arley had our dance floor packed from
The minute it opened until our last dance. From the online planning to final meeting, Arley was so easy to work with and made our reception the best party we could have ever imagine. Could never recommend this company enough!!
Not a big fan of leaving reviews unless it was out of this world amazing OR if it is absolutely terrible service. In this case, I don't think 5 stars is enough. If you are thinking...
about getting the giant mirror photo booth for your wedding... stop thinking and do it! We thought it would be a cool thing to add for the guests.. We had NO idea it was going to be as big of a hit as it was! Every single person was obsessed with it. They print out copies for everyone AND they print out copies for you to have in a photo album. We've looked through it so many times. On top of how fun it is... the service was 10/10! We thought the person was just going to drop off the mirror and people would figure it out. Wrong. Eric was dressed to perfection, and was incredible! He was as much of a hit as the mirror was. He was so kind and engaging with all of our guests. We were having so much fun with him, my husband and I didn't want to leave. It is worth the money, it is worth asking for Eric! Also they helped us create our own photo filter so it was on theme with the whole event. They didn't have to do that, but they were so kind and efficient with it too! Stop thinking, and do it. Promise it's worth the money.
We had so much fun partying the night away with the Uptown team, and our DJ, Adam, at our New Years Eve wedding. We had multiple meetings before our wedding to allow them to get to...
know us, and to understand our music taste and the details of our wedding. Adam did a great job of reading the crowd throughout the night, and included all of the songs on our must play list. Renting the mirror photo booth was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Our guests had so much fun with it, and we have a great keepsake. I highly recommend working with this awesome group for your big day!

w us before the wedding and made sure that our reception had the vibe we were looking for. We had so many people come up to us after the wedding and say how much they loved our DJs! Not only did they pick the best music, but they also got out on the dance floor with us and even let me get behind the DJ booth for a song or two. We could not have been happier with our choice to use Uptown Entertainment for our wedding and we will be recommending y'all to all of our friends!

e. I think it was more fun! DJ Gaspar kept the party alive all night, was so personable, and gave us the BEST recommendations for songs. It was a night we will always remember.
As far as ownership, I talked to a lot of other DJs who gave me the cheesy and over the top vibe. But when I met Justin, who owns Uptown, I immediately knew we had to use this company. He is down to earth and clearly stood out from the rest. I’m so happy we used Uptown Entertainment. Even some of my friends who were there are looking at booking them for their own weddings... they were THAT GOOD!

ic selection, the lighting, his communication, absolutely everything was fantastic. We let him know that we had been practicing a special dance for our “first” dance, and he matched the music up perfectly. He also took my wife and her friends and taught them a dance that she and the girls have been wanting to learn forever. Gaspar even schooled my nephew in a dance off! Absolutely priceless memories! Thank you so much to Update, Justin, and especially Gaspar!

& audio! All our virtual guests said they really enjoyed the live-stream and that everything was super clear. Thank you all for lending your A/V expertise to ensure our friends and family could be included in our wedding ceremony during these strange times!

ure out our style and the music we wanted to listen to and what we didn't want to listen to. We had a meeting with Adam (our lead DJ - the best ever!) and finalized everything prior to our wedding and so he could get a feel for our personalities and how our guests would party with all the music. Boy did our guests have an amazing time! We were constantly told how much our guests loved our DJs because they actually mixed the songs and didn't just play the songs from start to finish.
Having a wedding during COVID was tough, but Uptown made our evening SO much fun and made us feel on top of the world! My husband and I never left the dance floor once the party started and most of our guests didn't leave it either. They are by far the BEST DJs you could ever hire.
Justin was absolutely incredible for our day. We were very particular about our songs and he did such an amazing job. SO many of our guests told us that they had a great time beca...
use of the music.
Justin allowed us to make a list of songs that we wanted. He also helped coordinate a surprise video to show my husband of his friends who could not be at the wedding due to COVID.
Our reception was extremely important to us - especially the dancing. I think it is evident we had such a great time by the fact that one of our guests ripped his pants he was dancing so much :) My husband and I did not leave the dance floor the entire time!! I wish we could do it all over again.
Uptown Entertainment went above and beyond for us to have our perfect day. They met with us prior to the wedding to discuss what kind of music we like. We didn’t provide them a lis...
t of songs we wanted specifically, but the music they played matched us perfectly. The guys had the guests dancing and having fun. We added the mirror photo booth last minute and it was a perfect addition. I didn’t know until after the wedding that they were printing pictures for guests to put into an album for us to take home.
The care that the team put into our day made our wedding perfect. I’d recommend them to anyone getting married!
Adam and the Uptown team were amazing! I have been to many wedding receptions, and Uptown does it better than any DJ service! They catered the music to our audience based off what ...

We specifically hired DJ Arley for our big day and I can't say enough what an amazing job he did! He had our dance floor popping from beginning to end. He met with us beforehand to discuss our song choices, timeline, and do's/don'ts of our big day he needed to be aware of. You cannot go wrong with DJ Arley!
Professional, quality and great service!!!
