I had the BEST experience with Uptown Flowers! I live in CA, but due to Covid, we had to move our wedding to Texas kinda last minute! William was so wonderful & extremely responsive throughout the whole process! I sent him one inspiration photo, and he absolutely outdid himself. William was wonderful to work with. He took the images I brought in and the themes I wanted to incorporate and ran with them. My flowers were everything I wanted and then some. He had so many great ideas as to how my dream could come to light and the end result was beyond perfect. Worth every penny. Would choose Uptown Flowers again in a heartbeat.

William was recommended to me by a family friend and he did an amazing job! He stayed exactly within the budget we asked for and was faithful to the vision we had for the wedding, adapting and checking in throughout the process. Questions were handled on the front end, so working with Uptown was really smooth during the week leading up to and the event of the wedding. William provided church flowers, reception flowers, hair flowers, and boutonnieres/corsages, in addition to the bridal party bouquets. 10/10 would make this decision again and really appreciate the thoughtful dedication and strong workmanship.

I would like to shart by saying that my nuptial day meant a lot to me and my fiancé. While planning our wedding we were worrying about a lot of things. In addition, we had a limited budget. My fiancé and I wanted to have the most beautiful wedding full of fragrance of flowers. Without any hesitation, I approached Uptown Flowers Company located in the downtown San Antonio area. I asked them to help in creating flower arrangements and breath a new life into creating a banquet hall where we were going to have our wedding reception. The fact is that I knew that they would do everything top notch. I had already had experience with the company in the last year I ordered serveral floral arrangements for birthdays, get well, and Mother's Day. I would like to empathize that the recipients were well pleased! The wedding coordinator, Mr. William, and his assistant, Mr. Edward, will go beyond the requirements to satisfy their customers. They are not only skilled in their field, they are extremely professional and have excellent work ethic. Moreover, they are good listeners who understand the customer's desire without words. Mr. William and Mr. Edward filled our wedding day the fragrance of flowers with our budget. The church, the reception hall, and the bride's room looked like a floral garden. In the spirit of San Antonio, I could quote Sanda Bullock's Miss Congeniality monologue but replace "beauty pageant" with "flowers"... I saw them as an unnecessary expense. I thought that determining the right arrangement would be painful and that I would be clueless. I thought that the florist would try to nickel and dime me. William Garza at Uptown Flowers was a JOY and I am so happy to admit that I was wrong on this. William worked with us to mold and fulfill the vision of the wedding, blew us away with his execution, delivery, and efficiency, and kept everything within our budget. I could not have been happier with the flowers for this event and would HIGHLY recommend Uptown Flowers to any bride.

From our initial meeting with William through creating the proposal for the ceremony and reception, we trusted that he understood our daughter’s concept for the flowers. William guided us with his experience and professional recommendations and was able to design within our budget. He was a pleasure to work with and was flexible with our wishes and truly excited to share in our daughter’s vision. The bridal bouquets were exquisite and William artistically and meticulously adorned the Kendall Plantation with his elegant arrangements and beautiful table decorations. You CAN'T get better than William and his team at Uptown Flowers!! All our wedding flowers were PERFECT. He leant us the most beautiful wooden arbor for the ceremony, and made my vision come to life. We even had these big, brass geometric shapes hanging from the trees that William decorated in flowers with ease. We can't recommend him enough. Don't even waste your time searching for other florists!! :]

We had a bit of an unusual request for our flowers since each bridesmaid/groomsperson would be assigned a different color. William and his team were up for the challenge and created truly gorgeous bouquets. I couldn't have been happier or more pleased with how it all came out, and my bridesmaids all loved them as well.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about William and his team. He was able to see my vision when I couldn't even explain it. I told him what I wanted and the flowers I wanted, but i didn't know how to explain my vision. I got married in October 2016 and my flowers captured every beautiful thing about the fall. William at Uptown Flowers did such a phenomenal job at our wedding! From the first moment we contacted him to the end of our wedding he was wonderful to work with- William is professional, organized, and highly experienced! He met with my husband and I twice to discuss the floral arrangements for the wedding day, readjusted the quote a few times with the modifications we had, and even met with us at our venue walk through to go over the ceremony and reception set-up. I had concerns about the configuration for our ceremony and William saw the space and immediately suggested an arch- which turned out phenomenal! William took the few ideas that we had and brought the vision to life. All of the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, the arch, reception centerpieces and decorations turned out absolutely breathtaking and beautiful! Although the consultation was a friendly and professional exchange, the vendor did not send a promised email with a quote. Missed potential business for Uptown Flowers and will now go to H.E.B. instead. Perhaps I was naive in thinking an independent business would be better.

I absolutely LOVE William from Uptown Flowers. My mother and I had different visions for what the flowers should look like at our reception and William did an incredible job of finding the perfect middle. Our flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful and multiple people have commented on how beautiful our flowers were. I have nothing but amazing things to say about William. From the first day of meeting him he wanted to make sure that both my mother and I were happy with how our reception looked. I didn't have a great idea of what I wanted going in, but he had so many awesome ideas that we had it all figured out in no time. His work is affordable, but in no way compromises on quality. I went to William with only the colors in mind for what I wanted the bouquets and boutonnieres to look like and was VERY impressed with his and his staff's work!! The bouquets were amazingly beautiful and had a lot of different flowers in it which captured the colors of the wedding perfectly! You can truly see the passion in William when it comes to putting these beautiful creations together for each different bride.

Uptown Flowers provided absolutely gorgeous arrangements for our reception and my bridal portraits! They were very willing to work with our budget and gave us gorgeous table options that really made our reception site pop! My bridal bouquet was absolutely beautiful and matched exactly what I wanted! The Uptown Floral team was always ready to help me and provided great service with a smile! I will have to find excuses to keep using them for my floral needs :)

My bouquet was beautiful. I gave William an idea of what I wanted and he pulled through. They did an awesome job! They delivered on time and I didn't have to worry about a thing.

William the owner is a true artist and does an exceptional job while be considerate of budgets. He is also extremely personable and easy to work with. I could not have been happier with the beautiful work of him and his team. When I first met with him he was the only florist I felt really listened to what I wanted then showed me pictures of each flower he thought of using and put his artistic spin on it. We got a sample centerpiece at the tasting and I wanted to change a few things and William was very accomodating. On the day of the wedding everything was gorgeous... far better than I had imagined!!

Works well with you and gives you exactly what you want... I knew a few things I wanted and he helped to put my vision together. All of the bouquets looked great. The mother corsages appearantly did not hold tOgether very good. And the stems were long on the bouquets... If I would have known ahead of time, I would have had them cut off. But looks And price were great and everything I wanted. It took him weeks to put the payment through.... It hit the bank unexpectedly

My flowers were absolutley amazing. I told William basically what I wanted and he went beyond my expectations. My bouquet was the most beautiful arrangement of flowers I have ever seen and I am not just saying that because they are mine. William will work within you budget but still make them seem like million dollar flowers.

I got a quote from them and my wedding is small, no brides maids but the quote was $3,634.00 I'm sure they are good.... but sheeesh!

We were referred to our florist by the Marriott. They work closey with the Marriott for all major events and were able to give us a discount. Bev at Uptown Flowers handled our order and she was fantastic. I had a vision for my flowers and she did a perfect job in relaying this to the designers. My flowers were everything that I had hoped they would be and more!
