Uptown Live is a high-end, high-energy variety music band that plays all the hits. The song list includes Top 40, Pop, 80s, RnB, Disco, Country, Hip Hop, Jazz, Swing and so much more. We will customize the set list and learn as many songs as you want for your event! Couple VIPs Entertainment's amazing customer service and the band's amazing sound, customized set lists and song requests, with stellar choreography and a clean, young look and you have a band everyone will love! Hire them. They are SO talented. This band is more than just an amazing band, they are fantastic entertainers. Guests came up to me the entire night, and days after raving about how blown away they were by the band. They can sing all genres, and are such a fun presence. Our wedding would not have been the same without them!

The VIP's are hands down the BEST. My husband and I got married this past October and people are still talking about the band!! Everyone says it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The VIP's were by far the best addition to the wedding. We are beyond thankful to them for making the trip out to Cayucos for our wedding. We couldn't have done it without them and they made the wedding!!

Absolutely amazing and fun band! We found the VIPs through a recommendation from our wedding planner and thankfully, we took her advice. Finding a great band was one of our top priorities/concerns for our wedding day, and we knew it would make all the difference in having a great night. The VIPs are talented, fun, energetic, professional, non-pretentious, non-cheesy talents that played a major role in ensuring our guests had the best time. Alistar was great from the beginning, working with us to get to know us, address our concerns, suit our needs, tailor our song lists, and understand the general vibe we wanted and who we were. People of all ages were out on the dance floor until the very last note of the last song they played. We are forever grateful to them for making our reception an absolute blast and truly memorable. Nearly 8 months later and we still have friends raving about them and asking us for their name. We love the VIPs and recommend them highly!

Wow, we had such an amazing wedding thanks to the VIPs!! They are so talented and kept the energy up and the dancing going all night! We used the VIPs for the first part of our wedding to do more of the traditional wedding music, and then they switched into the Young Guns 80's band half way through to finish off the night! It was a fun surprise for everyone to see them come back on stage completely transformed into 80's gear! At the end of the night the crowd was chanting for "one more song!" so we know everyone had a blast. Alistair is also a great MC and working with him through the whole process was really easy and smooth. Everyone keeps telling us how much fun they had at our wedding and how much they loved the band. I highly recommend them!

We loved our wedding band... The VIPs! They helped us customize our playlist and performed every song perfectly! Everyone was on the dance floor dancing and singing along to the music. They are very professional, organized and wear nice suits when they perform, so they are perfect for a formal occasion. Our wedding guests continue to compliment us on how much fun our wedding was and how they loved our band! Definitely check them out! Our reception would not have been the same without the VIPs!

The VIPs band was easily the best part of our wedding reception. Literally every guest was up dancing all night due to the amazing show they put on. I cannot thank them enough for the professionalism, and to quote our guests: "the wedding party to judge all other wedding parties by". Alistair, et al. thank you so much!

We hired the VIPs for our wedding and it was by far the best decision. We put together an 8 piece band for the first two sets and they absolutely killed it. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. The number of compliments we had (and still have) of how amazing the entire night was has a lot to do with the talent of this group to keep the energy going, and playing all genres to appeal to everyone. They even took the time to learn a song they didn't know, that was special to me and my college girlfriends, ahead of time which was incredibly cool and meant a lot to us all. For the last set we had the Young Guns (the core four members of the VIPs 80s band) play to keep costs down and to add another fun element to an already amazing day. What a blast!! They came in full 80s costumes and by the end of the night my husband and I were on stage with them "singing" and watching all of our friends and family have the time of their lives (us too!) Everyone's legs were sore the next day from non stop dancing :) I am now a forever fan.

The VIPs were our absolute favorite part of our wedding. Alistair's voice is amazing, the band is incredible, and everyone at our wedding was on the dance floor all night. They knew exactly when to play the right songs, and their fun and upbeat attitude put our guests in the mood to party. My husband and I didn't leave the dance floor for the entire four-hour set. Alistair is a great M.C.-funny and sentimental in the right spots. They're also extremely professional. They showed up early to make sure all their gear was perfectly set up, and even helped set up the speaker system for our ceremony, which was not their job at all and so awesome of them. They're also all incredibly nice guys who seemed genuinely happy to be playing our wedding (even though they play much cooler venues). We looked long and hard for a wedding band (I'm talking months of those mostly-awful band demos), and we couldn't have been happier. We still have people coming up to us and talking about how awesome the band was. If you want that too, hire the best wedding band ever!
