Aside from the sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception, Mick provided a trivia game for buffet dismissal at dinner, two TV screens for photo montages, uplighting, and drapes with an incredible custom monogram! Everyone was raving about the song selections and the flow of energy on the dancefloor throughout the night. In fact, our photographer was leaving at 9 (reception went til 10), and came up to me to ask about doing our sparkler exit real quick, but I glanced over at the dance floor and there was no way I could break up that party just for a few pictures. Mick actually captured the moment when we did the sparkler exit at 10pm. The man does it all! He goes with the flow, especially when my husband and groomsmen asked to play guitar unscripted, and pulled it off without a hitch. It doesn't end there! Mick caught on that we are Game of Thrones fans from our wedding hashtag, and so he took it upon himself to give us an amazing surprise! He was able to get 4 or 5 cast members to give us a personalize wedding shout out. And he caught our reactions on video! Talk about an awesome memory to look back on! When planning our wedding, entertainment was a big area of focus - because when your guests are having fun and entertained - the moments captures in pictures and videos are going to be better! planning a 175 person wedding in PA without a planner, half across the country in a PA town where we are unfamiliar with any vendors and services. Mick and his business is a godsend. Without Mick's help I'm positive this night couldn't have been what it wound up being: the best wedding all of our guests have ever been too. From the beginning he was there for us, to guide us through the process, to think about things we didn't think of, organize our crazy heads around what needed to get done and how to do it. Even when Mick was exceeding beyond what we could have possibly imagined - Mick some how still found a way to out do himself and over-deliver at our event. At a wedding where our guests were made up of all walks of life you can possible imagine, everyone commented on the music, everyone was on the dance floor from start to finish, to where people were even chanting for Mick to keep the party going. Throughout the night he was even thrown curve ball after curve ball and still wound up hitting each pitch out of the park. Example: It was pouring rain at our outdoor venue before the start time which I'm sure didn't give him as much set up time as he would have liked - NO BIG DEAL - some how he managed to get everything done and not skip a beat while still orchestrating the wedding from start to finish. I also have to say Mick's up-lighting some how managed to transform our already gorgeous wedding venue, into something so amazing, every picture we took looked like they were doctored by some graphic artist in Photoshop. I felt like by booking Uranko Productions, I also had a bonus wedding planner! Mick’s enthusiasm and talent was essential in our reception being so memorable! Everyone commented on how much fun they had at the wedding. He kept the party going. Having just watched our wedding video, I can tell you, the dance floor was always full! In addition to the amazing music and MC that Mick provided, the other serivices were equally as great. The uplighting and monogram added to the ambiance of our reception hall. We did a picture slide show during the first dance and mother-son and father-daughter dances. The photo booth was a HUGE hit. All the guests from young to old loved it. He even had the background as the Washington Monument which was where we got engaged. We really felt that Mick went above and beyond. When the bridal party was processing down the isle and the family realized the groom’s elderly aunt who flew across the country to do the first reading was still in the parking lot, Mick stepped up to the plate and escorted her to her seat without interrupting the procession. As our DJ this was far outside of his job duties, but he did it because he is a caring individual who truely wants you to have a perfect wedding day. He also went above and beyond to make my husband’s 9 and 11 year old children feel special and included. They are still talking about how much fun they had walking into the reception with his enthusiastic introductions! My step-daughter was dancing the Macarena dance to almost every song. Toward the end of the night he called her up to be the guest DJ and allowed her to spin the Macarena before he played it for her. She had a blast and the smile on her face during that moment was priceless and one of our favorite memories of the day. I can’t say enough positive this about Uranko Productions. Mick made sure our reception ran smoothly and kept everything on time, which was so important to our venue, caterer, videographer, and photographer. He added so many moments that made our day extra special from spotlighting centerpieces and our wedding cake, showing a slideshow of my husband and I throughout the evening, and helping to present flowers to my husband's grandmother as an influential person in our lives. All of these were his ideas! We even started our night off with shadow entrances into the reception hall (his first time ever trying this and it was beyond amazing)! Just when I thought Mick couldn't make our day any more perfect, he would! From our first contact with him, he was an absolute joy. His enthusiasm, love for his work, and pride shows in all he does.
