This is a absolutely beautiful place and the people are just so friendly. It was just a pleasant experience getting my dress altered here. 10/10 would recommend getting your wedding dress altered here to family/ friends.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the ladies at this shop are! They were so professional and so helpful from the time I walked in the door until after my final dress fitting was complete. They made me feel special and gave me options of what o liked but also offered their opinion on what they thought looked best. And I needed that! They were all just so easy to work with!

This business truly has the most warm and welcoming vibe, and makes you feel so at ease when going through the alterations process. I took my “mother of the groom dress” here not knowing anything about it except the reviews I read online. I do not have one bad thing to say about my experience here. The people were so nice and accommodating. She was very helpful in deciding what to alter. I was greeted immediately and taken care of the entire time I was there. The dress was ready ahead of schedule and the alterations were perfect. I highly recommended them and will most definitely use them again if/when I need another alteration. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Christy and her team were amazing! She was open and honest about what would and would not work, as well as the costs! At the last minute I decided to have a pretty major change made to the dress for it to fit exactly how I imagined and her team had the entire dress reconstructed so quickly! I never once worried about it being ready on time! Everything about her shop is calming and inviting! I would recommend her and the team to anyone!

I took four potential MOB dresses to them to alter/remake and ended up with four works of art that fit me as well as any couture dress could! I didn’t like any of the dresses and just told Christy and her staff that I hated the way I looked in each dress. Somehow, Christy figured out what I was trying to say and essentially redesigned each dress and made all four absolutely perfect! They were so creative, so talented, fast and reasonable and I cannot say enough great things about their vision and impeccable work. They are amazing!

When I went to the first fitting, my dress was gaping in all the wrong places and way too long. Christy's careful touch made it look like the dress was made for me perfectly. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Christy and her staff last year when planning my first wedding ceremony. I’d purchased my wedding dress from The Something Blue Shoppe next door and when it was time for my alterations they highly recommended Mrs. Christy. Let me tell you…the talent they have at this shop is UNMATCHED! Mrs. Christy is heaven sent and very talented. Her team that works in the back of the store is just as talented! Alterations for wedding dresses are very expensive but I had zero hesitation in paying whatever the cost was for my alterations because the level of customer service there makes it easy to swipe your card! I highly recommend Urban Altered! You will not be disappointed with the services there. My husband, unfortunately, had a really bad car accident on the morning of our wedding last year and we were not able to have the wedding on that day. I came back to Mrs. Christy this year to tell her the news and that I would need more alterations done for the ceremony we planned for this year. The dress no longer fit from last year but that was no issue for Mrs. Christy. She assured me my dress would be ready in time for the new ceremony and she did not disappoint! We both agreed that for some reason I looked better in the dress this year than I did last year lol We bonded over conversations outside of just my wedding dress and I thank God for sending compassionate people my way during one of the hardest seasons in my life. Mrs. Christy, thank you for treating my mom and I like family! We will definitely be back for alterations and to shop!

Cristy and Haley at Urban Altered are FANTASTIC! My older sister had her wedding dress altered with Cristy, and when I got engaged there wasn’t anyone else I wanted to go see but Cristy! They do wonderful work, they are kind, and make the entire experience wonderful! I ended up needing less alterations than originally thought, so they charged me significantly less. Cristy walked through the whole process with me and was very attentive to how I had envisioned the dress fitting and looking! The shop in the front of the store also has wonderful clothes and items—I ended up purchasing several things and will go back anytime I need a dress for a fun event!

Christy was so easy and amazing to work with. She came highly recommended to me when I purchased my wedding dress, and she most definitely lived up to that recommendation. She and her staff were so friendly and took all of my concerns and washed them away. She takes time with each bride and listens to concerns and is very transparent with price up front. If you choose Christy to do your alterations, you will have nothing to worry about when you big day arrives. Going in, I thought my dress fit me pretty well. By the time Christy was finished, it was a million times better! Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience!

Absolutely loved getting dress altered here. They were amazing and paid attention and were able to fix everything I wanted done to my dress. Also were accommodating to my mom and helped her with her needs while there and getting her dress altered. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

The ladies at Urban Altered are amazing. Actually, there are no words to describe how much they mean to me. My husband and I had planned to elope in Greece in Sept. 2020 but the pandemic hit and caused us to postpone, multiple times. My dress had already been altered by Urban Altered and ready to go. I was devastated obviously and so worried about being able to fit into my dress by the time we would be able to get married. We finally got married this past April and my dress was perfect! I had dropped 2 dress sizes and they realtered my dress flawlessly. My dress had a TON of detail by the way. Not only are they talented and professional, but they are some of the kindest women I've ever met and always made sure I felt beautiful. The boutique has some really cute items as well. Definitely come here for all of your alteration needs and cute wedding gifts!

Christy and her staff worked magic. I bought my MOB dress big (just in case) then lost weight. They beautifully removed the train and sized it down (several sizes) to where everything looked original and fit perfectly. I received so many compliments. The staff was professional, always on time for appointments, very upfront about pricing along with being extremely nice. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Urban Altered-Alterations has worked on several dresses for our family... anything from debutante dresses to wedding dresses. Each one was completed on time and altered exactly as we had desired. The shop is incredible and the customer service is fantastic. We are greatly looking forward to having another wedding dress altered in a few months.

I didn’t think I could love my dress more than the day I found it but they somehow made it happen! I cannot wait to put it on again! They also gave me the sweetest cross charm at my final fitting and I can’t wait to incorporate it into our big day! I would recommend these ladies to any and everyone. They also have the cutest dresses for showers and such. Or for wedding guests! I ended up purchasing two dresses at my appointments and they are unlike any other dresses in the area! We were also gifted the most beautiful champagne flutes for our toast. They are truly a one stop shop for brides and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about them!

I came to Urban Altered to have my wedding dress redesigned. I purchased a simple satin V-neck dress from The Something Blue Shoppe next door. They recommended Urban Altered highly. They added large puffy sleeves, a belt, hemming, a pearl hanging/necklace piece (made of pearls from my moms dress) to the back, banding on my sleeves, and other alterations to my breast and shoulder areas. I loved the final look of my dress and it was a big hit at my wedding! I love the way my sleeves photographed and how the pearls hung on my back! Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best experience ever with Urban Altered!!! Christy and the ladies there were incredible! I couldn’t recommend them more. My dress was so many sizes too big when I first took it to them, and they made it fit like a dream!!! Absolutely precious too! 💞

Christy is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever came across. I was so comfortable with her. I can be a very indecisive person and she made everything so easy. My dress had a fair share of alterations. The shoulders came up to high, she had to bring the dress out some inches to fit me. She hemmed the bottom (7 layers) and added some lace cap sleeves. I couldn’t have been any happier with how my dress turned out.

Christy with Urban Altered did a fabulous job with my dress. I needed the length of my dress adjusted and she was able to do each layer perfectly. When I walked the length was absolutely perfect with my shoes. She was also so sweet to add a blue and yellow star patch from my husband's police uniform. She added the patch in the front of my dress close to my heart. My something blue was one of the most meaningful parts of my dress. Thank you so much for everhthing you did.
