I was very nervous and hesitant about hiring a wedding coordinator. I knew we needed one, but I had heard too many stories about couples spending a lot of money only to feel disapp...
ointed. I’m so happy to say that working with Michele was a great decision and I feel very confident recommending her to other couples.
For context, we had a 200-person traditional Jewish wedding at a large hotel, with many moving parts and a sizable wedding party. From the very beginning, Michele streamlined the entire planning process and made things feel manageable. She kept us organized, on schedule, and focused.
On the wedding day, Michele and her assistant executed everything flawlessly. We didn’t have many DIY elements, but she still ensured that every detail was beautifully set up and that nothing was overlooked. They also packaged everything up super nicely so the clean up was easy the next morning. She communicated clearly and consistently with all of our vendors, handled logistics seamlessly, and was especially responsive as the big day approached.
She even came to the venue two days prior to run a full rehearsal with our entire wedding party, which made everyone feel confident and prepared. Although Michele was familiar with Jewish weddings, we incorporated several additional traditions and elements. She took the time to learn every detail so she could help us execute everything exactly as we envisioned.
A few days before the wedding, I became very overwhelmed and worried that our day-of timeline was too tight. Michele immediately stepped in, completely reworked the schedule, and communicated the changes to all vendors. She took the stress entirely off my plate and allowed me to actually enjoy the days leading up to our wedding.
I am so incredibly grateful to Michele and her team. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, I wholeheartedly recommend working with her!

re process feel seamless and enjoyable. Michele went above and beyond in every single detail—listening carefully to our vision, offering thoughtful guidance, and making sure every aspect of our day reflected who we are as a couple.
On the wedding day itself, Michele was nothing short of extraordinary. She orchestrated everything behind the scenes so flawlessly that we were able to be fully present, soaking in every moment without a single worry. Our guests even commented on how smoothly everything flowed, and that is all thanks to her dedication and professionalism.
Michele has such a warm, kind presence that made us feel supported and cared for every step of the way. She truly treats her couples like family, and it shows in the love and attention she pours into her work. Because of Michele, our wedding day was not just perfect—it was beyond our wildest dreams. We are endlessly grateful for her, and we would recommend her wholeheartedly to any couple looking for the best planner imaginable.

endors and communicate with them while I was at work during our planning process. We were always checking in with each other and we greatly valued Michele’s expert advice when we weren’t sure on what decisions to make, as Michele has a book of knowledge when it comes to the Denver metro/ mountain areas. Our experience also felt very personal and fine tuned to us and what we wanted for our wedding. Michele was able to help us seamlessly and I was never worried that my style and wants would be misunderstood. Overall, we got so much and MORE working with Michele and Urban Events.
Michele was a joy to work with. I hired her as my Day of Coordinator, which included some upfront planning. The planning meetings we had in advance of the day gave me peace of mind...
that I wasn’t forgetting any big details. And Michele was a huge help day of so we didn’t end up asking friends or family to chip in. Michele has been in the business for a long time, so she has lots of contacts and can give good recommendations. She had also worked a lot at my venue (Varone Market) so was able to give extra helpful insight on layouts, etc. I am so happy I booked with her!

g. She always checked in to see if we needed anything through the planning process. The day of the wedding she ran the show with our other vendors and made the whole day chaos free (at least in our eyes) our guests and wedding party complimented how smooth sailing our wedding was. we cannot recommend her enough to help plan your wedding. Thank you Michele for everything!!!

of our family had to worry about setup, teardown, or moving things around our spaces during the wedding. We could not be more pleased with our experience. Jade also understood our needs and recommended excellent local vendors like our florist who was the perfect fit for us. Our venue was not super traditional so Jade rolled with the ambiguity and ran the day in a way that made us feel confident and at-ease. Urban Events was worth their weight in gold for month out planning of our mostly DIY wedding (especially since their prices are very competitive)!
We do not recommend this company. I think the owner Michele does a decent job but we were assigned a planner by the name of Melody. She had been on maternity leave prior to the wed...
ding and never should have tried to do our wedding so close to returning. She never grasped the details. There were so many errors from the music (she agreed to do "own" the music and never even played the playlist provided) to the table settings, to the timeline (if you are the wedding planner, you need to run a tight ship), to leaving the bouquet when you agreed to get it..... It was a complete waste of money. Our venue required a "day of" wedding planner which I do agree with, but I do not recommend this company.

s and had a great system to help keep everything organized. Melody was also incredible to work with. She did our rehearsal and was so flexible and helpful when we got rained out and had to last minute change plans. OH and she took a bunch of our floral arrangements to the venue in her car! I cannot recommend these ladies enough!!

f the 1000s of different opinions and commands being given from my relatives and friends. Jade knew to tune out the noise and only consult with the bride or the groom. Whenever I was about to turn around to talk to her or hand something off to her she was there. Highly recommend Urban Events for your day of coordination needs. It was their first time at our venue as well and you never could have guessed with how well they ran the show!
I don't know what we would have done without Michelle & her team. We were more than halfway through planning when all of the little details starting to feel so overwhelming, so we ...
brought Michelle on as our Day-Of Coordinator, which included several meetings beforehand for planning support. What we appreciated most was Michelle taking on communicating with the venue, especially her presence at our last in person meeting. She created the perfect timeline for us and we didn't have to worry about a thing day of.
Michelle is so personable and chill we HIGHLY recommend her and her team.
Working with Michelle and Melody was wonderful. We reside in TX and getting married in CO, so they were able to visit venues for us and communication with them was easy as well.
I absolutely loved my experience with Michele! She was with me every step of the way and really thought of everything. I would recommend her 10x over.

ing and allowed us and our families to enjoy the wedding day and not be worried about the details.
Michele and Jade were vital to our wedding planning and day of running smoothly. We started our planning with Michele who helped us with our budget and reassured us on the costs of some of the bigger vendors. Michele gave us short lists of vendors to review that fit our budget and style. This made it way easier to pick vendors and knowing they came with her recommendation.
Once the major vendors of our wedding were set, we worked with Jade on the details, and she was our day of planner. We had a bit of time between our wedding and when we initially started planning, Jade checked in with us monthly to see how we were feeling and what questions we had. She reassured us that we were on track even when it felt like we only had a few tasks a month. A few months out, Jade became the main contact for our vendors and organized our final walk through and day of timeline with the vendors. Jade was awesome on the day of, she made sure everything was running smoothly, set up for us, and kept an eye on all the small details. She even noticed when I (bride) was holding my bouquet upside down for a photo. If there were any issues, we didn’t know because Jade took care of everything!

wife and I are very in tune with our cultures, and having someone that not only respected, but celebrated that was very important to us. tress free day I envisioned, I needed help. While I research a number of planner with little luck. However, my first call with Urban events I knew they were perfect! They allowed me the space to plan but still offered the guidance I needed while also asking the hard questions. Meeting with the Urban Events team was as stress free as wedding planning can get- it was like hanging out with friends. They truly got my vision while understanding small nuances.
My wedding day was better than I could imagine. I wanted they day to be stress free not only for me but also for all my guest. From finding a small bag that i lost in my car, to decorating the whole event space and working with all the vendors seamlessly. It was PERFECT! They are such a fun and thoughtful team. Everyone from my wedding party to guest and especially the groom and myself loved working with Urban Events. I cannot recommend the whole team enough! She did our whole set up and it was absolutely flawless. She is a joy to be around and is fantastic at her job. ss, checking in every month or so for 20 months to showing up in full force on the wedding day. She set up all the decor and details, assisted with crafting the perfect timeline, helped with the breakdown, and even assisted in serving dinner when there was a staff shortage. She thinks of everything (she even had a backup speaker for when ours went missing!) She is exceptionally organized and well-connected with other wedding vendors in Colorado when I had no idea where to start looking (I am from Virginia). I really can say she is a true friend. She helped our complicated wedding absolutely come to life without a hitch. No need to read any more reviews; hire this dream team!!!

llion times over-- it allowed for ample time, communication, and planning and for Michele to work her magic. Everything was seamless and well thought out, I didn't feel stressed on the days of the wedding or leading up to it, and was able to truly just focus on my husband and our family and friends. Michele and her team were such a game changer if we ran into any problems-- they quickly fixed anything (like looking into contracts and contacting the company for us to fix any issue), and were great at brainstorming ideas to help fit purchases into our budget. Literally they are THE BEST best best best!!! When looking back on our wedding, I feel so much overwhelming happiness and awesome memories because Urban Events made the weekend so memorable and easy. Can't thank you enough for making all of our dreams come true!

The best part was really listening to our ideas and making our vision come to life. I cannot sing their praises enough! I highly recommend Michele and the team!

WRONG.
This was my first time getting married, and to say I was clueless was an understatement. There are a million moving pieces when it comes to planning and Michele was on top of EVERYTHING—even the smallest details that I never would have thought of. On top of being incredibly competent and professional, Michele is a down-to-Earth and super cool person. She made us feel so comfortable and totally at ease. Like we knew once we hired her, we wouldn't have to worry about anything—and we didn't! She took great care of us and knew exactly how to navigate routey inlaws, tipsy guests, and Momzilla's with patience and grace, lol. I had a completely amazing, stress-free day thanks to her and her assistant (who was also incredible).
Urban Events has the best wedding planners in Colorado. Period. Don't even bother going anywhere else and book them like yesterday!

Many told us this was impossible, and we should just wait till next year, but we have waited long enough( 2 years to be exact). All the guests including us were extremely impressed with the outcome and flow, if I had to do it again I would pick Urban events every-time. Exceptional work and very pleasant staff!

I am so happy we went with Urban Events. 10/10 recommend!!

Anyone would be lucky to have them on their side, they made everything perfect.

Without her, we never would have been able to find the amazing network of vendors she connected us with. Even if you don't hire her for a full wedding planning experience, you NEED someone like Urban Events for the day of activities. They basically made the whole day happen and even rescued my bouquet from a random field 10 minutes before the ceremony. Whether you're planning local, or from across the country, I would definitely recommend having a planner like Urban Events on your side!

They helped plan productive days when I came back to Colorado for tours, and literally brought me to a brewery for a cake tasting. Both Michele and Micah brought solid ideas, fun people to partner with (floral was to die for...), and supported me the entire way. Definitely loved working with these amazing women and consider them friends! We truly had a blast!
Thanks again, gals! You freaking rock!

nted for, all the little things people say will go wrong didn't. I truly believe it was in large part to Michelle and Micah's partnership and Michelle's knack for finding good people to work with. Most of our vendors came from her recommendations and everything single one of them were above and beyond amazing. Michelle accommodated our requests, and when things could possibly cause issues she let us know in a way that wasn't pushy or demanding. I can't say enough about her. She was the best. Always ready with an answer if we needed it. I'd strongly recommend anyone looking for a wedding planner to choose her and work with her to build your dream wedding. We did, and it paid off big. Best night ever, hands down. Thanks again Michelle and Micah!
Words cannot even begin to describe how thankful I am for having had Michele and her team at Urban Events as my day-of coordinators. From the moment I met her over a year ago, she ...
was extremely kind and understanding of my and my spouse’s situation (planning a wedding from China). When hiring a day-of coordinator , we didn’t know what to expect, but she exceeded our expectations with the quality of service she provided. She was flexible when scheduling calls, super helpful in contacting our vendors when I couldn’t do it myself because of the time difference, and attentive to every detail I shared with her about our big day. The day of the wedding, Michele and her team ensured every part was set up exactly as we wanted it. We cannot thank her enough for the quality of service she provided. Because of her kindness and genuine demeanor, I can honestly say she became a good friend to us along the way. Don’t hesitate to hire Michele and her team!
I don't even know where to begin. If you are hesitant on getting a wedding planner or booking Urban Events, stop looking and just do it! Michele was phenomenal all around!

ding was on June 26, 2021. Michele was working with me a year and a half before my big day and I seriously couldn't have done it without her. I struggled staying within our budget and staying sane with all the tasks that needed to get done before I knew Michele. We had bi-weekly check ups to make sure we were on course. She also made me realize there were certain things I didn't need to focus my energy on and I'm glad I didn't. She validated my feelings and understood the stress I was under.
And if you take one thing away from this review, please let it be that Michele will have your back completely and will ALWAYS look out for you and your future spouse's best interest. FIVE days before our wedding, our original venue cancelled on us at the last minute. She worked endlessly on helping us find a last minute venue and reaching out to all the vendors to keep them updated.
Urban Events has great connections to various vendors that have helped us along the way and will not disappoint. We loved Michele and can't thank her enough for helping us create the wedding we had envisioned even with the chaos that was thrown at us!

at pieces were already set from the year before and picking up the missing pieces that I had forgotten about. She helped me stayed organized and calm. Weddings are complicated and I was in over my head. I had the impression that I could have a relaxed wedding with no stress because that is the type of person I am. I was unaware of how many details a bride has to manage and make decisions on. Michele walked me through every detail and timing factor that I was naive with and helped me be a decisive bride. Her team was exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind to my wild family and all of my vendors. I never thought I’d need a coordinator and could not have been more wrong! My wedding would not have been possible without Michele and her team. It was an amazing event and not only were we thrilled, our guests are still raving about it, which was the goal.
