We do not recommend this company. I think the owner Michele does a decent job but we were assigned a planner by the name of Melody. She had been on maternity leave prior to the wedding and never should have tried to do our wedding so close to returning. She never grasped the details. There were so many errors from the music (she agreed to do "own" the music and never even played the playlist provided) to the table settings, to the timeline (if you are the wedding planner, you need to run a tight ship), to leaving the bouquet when you agreed to get it..... It was a complete waste of money. Our venue required a "day of" wedding planner which I do agree with, but I do not recommend this company.

Michele was AMAZING you guys! From the first introduction call, I could tell she was so genuine and really cared about our vision. She helped us so much throughout the whole process and had a great system to help keep everything organized. Melody was also incredible to work with. She did our rehearsal and was so flexible and helpful when we got rained out and had to last minute change plans. OH and she took a bunch of our floral arrangements to the venue in her car! I cannot recommend these ladies enough!!

We encountered some problems with our venue coordinator and Jade was able to tackle them effectively and productively without a ton of frustration. Our day was perfect regardless of the 1000s of different opinions and commands being given from my relatives and friends. Jade knew to tune out the noise and only consult with the bride or the groom. Whenever I was about to turn around to talk to her or hand something off to her she was there. Highly recommend Urban Events for your day of coordination needs. It was their first time at our venue as well and you never could have guessed with how well they ran the show!

I don't know what we would have done without Michelle & her team. We were more than halfway through planning when all of the little details starting to feel so overwhelming, so we brought Michelle on as our Day-Of Coordinator, which included several meetings beforehand for planning support. What we appreciated most was Michelle taking on communicating with the venue, especially her presence at our last in person meeting. She created the perfect timeline for us and we didn't have to worry about a thing day of. Michelle is so personable and chill we HIGHLY recommend her and her team.

Working with Michelle and Melody was wonderful. We reside in TX and getting married in CO, so they were able to visit venues for us and communication with them was easy as well.

We were a bit hesitant to hire a planner at the beginning, but couldn't have asked for a better team than Jade and Michele. They really helped take a lot of the stress out of planning and allowed us and our families to enjoy the wedding day and not be worried about the details. Michele and Jade were vital to our wedding planning and day of running smoothly. We started our planning with Michele who helped us with our budget and reassured us on the costs of some of the bigger vendors. Michele gave us short lists of vendors to review that fit our budget and style. This made it way easier to pick vendors and knowing they came with her recommendation. Once the major vendors of our wedding were set, we worked with Jade on the details, and she was our day of planner. We had a bit of time between our wedding and when we initially started planning, Jade checked in with us monthly to see how we were feeling and what questions we had. She reassured us that we were on track even when it felt like we only had a few tasks a month. A few months out, Jade became the main contact for our vendors and organized our final walk through and day of timeline with the vendors. Jade was awesome on the day of, she made sure everything was running smoothly, set up for us, and kept an eye on all the small details. She even noticed when I (bride) was holding my bouquet upside down for a photo. If there were any issues, we didn’t know because Jade took care of everything!

The Urban Events team was one of the best decisions we made during the entire wedding process. We had a pretty good idea of our vision for the weekend and Melody executed everything to perfection. Both Michele and Melody have a great calming energy and allowed us to enjoy the day without any distractions.

Michele + the rest of the Urban Events team were UNREAL!! We were an out-of-town couple that got married near Vail, and it was so nice to have Michele as the local expert. Michele and melody were absolute DREAMS to work with! They helped me secure all of the little details, and made sure I wasn’t forgetting anything. I was truly overwhelmed before I started working with this team. On the day of my wedding when I was experience intense anxiety attacks, melody was incredible and talked me through everything. The whole team worked with me and even rearranged the timeline on the spot to accommodate me and my health needs. Please do not plan your wedding without Urban Events! I am a planner and with the help of a friend, I thought I could tackle my wedding alone. I quickly realized that to have the stress free day I envisioned, I needed help. While I research a number of planner with little luck. However, my first call with Urban events I knew they were perfect! They allowed me the space to plan but still offered the guidance I needed while also asking the hard questions. Meeting with the Urban Events team was as stress free as wedding planning can get- it was like hanging out with friends. They truly got my vision while understanding small nuances. My wedding day was better than I could imagine. I wanted they day to be stress free not only for me but also for all my guest. From finding a small bag that i lost in my car, to decorating the whole event space and working with all the vendors seamlessly. It was PERFECT! They are such a fun and thoughtful team. Everyone from my wedding party to guest and especially the groom and myself loved working with Urban Events. I cannot recommend the whole team enough! We hired Urban Events as our day-of coordinators and we are so happy with the result! Michele was fantastic and organized! I was beginning to feel very overwhelmed with all the planning. At the 60 days til the wedding mark, Michele started reaching out consistently to start getting all the details sorted on her end to help us to have a seamless day. Jade also assisted and she was fantastic at getting things done! Our day was beautiful and once the wedding started, the rest of my night was stress free! We booked with Urban Events for the 60 day coordinating package and we beyond thrilled that we did! We almost did not want to spend the money for a coordinator but it was the best thing we did for our wedding. Katie got put on our event last minute and you would not have had any clue because of how on top of it she was. Katie is extremely friendly, professional, organized, efficient, and resourceful. Anything we threw at her last minute she handled gracefully and quickly. She did our whole set up and it was absolutely flawless. She is a joy to be around and is fantastic at her job. We are so grateful for everything she did for us and we could not recommend Urban Events and Katie more.

Michele and her team were absolute rock stars when it came to our reception-only wedding. We hired Michele at the request of our venue for a day-of coordinator and she made all the difference. We went with her 60-days out package which left more than enough time for us to finalize all of the details with her. I was still able to plan all of the details of the wedding, organize all the vendors and hand it over to her team to execute beautifully on the day of. If you're looking for a day-of coordinator or a wedding planner- Michele is an expert and you will be in great hands!

Where do I start? Michele and her team are absolutely outstanding. They are worth everything they are in 24K gold. Michele helped me from the beginning of my wedding planning process, checking in every month or so for 20 months to showing up in full force on the wedding day. She set up all the decor and details, assisted with crafting the perfect timeline, helped with the breakdown, and even assisted in serving dinner when there was a staff shortage. She thinks of everything (she even had a backup speaker for when ours went missing!) She is exceptionally organized and well-connected with other wedding vendors in Colorado when I had no idea where to start looking (I am from Virginia). I really can say she is a true friend. She helped our complicated wedding absolutely come to life without a hitch. No need to read any more reviews; hire this dream team!!!

I honestly cannot be happier that I hired urban events. About a million big things went wrong on my wedding day that would’ve had me in a puddle of tears but the way melody handled it all made me just brush it off. They really made the day special and we cannot be more thankful for them.

How do I even begin to explain how incredible Urban Events was in making our dream wedding weekend come true!? We purchased the full planning package and I would do this again a million times over-- it allowed for ample time, communication, and planning and for Michele to work her magic. Everything was seamless and well thought out, I didn't feel stressed on the days of the wedding or leading up to it, and was able to truly just focus on my husband and our family and friends. Michele and her team were such a game changer if we ran into any problems-- they quickly fixed anything (like looking into contracts and contacting the company for us to fix any issue), and were great at brainstorming ideas to help fit purchases into our budget. Literally they are THE BEST best best best!!! When looking back on our wedding, I feel so much overwhelming happiness and awesome memories because Urban Events made the weekend so memorable and easy. Can't thank you enough for making all of our dreams come true!

I would be remiss if I did not write a glowing review on the fantastic job that Urban Events did for my wedding. They were our eyes and ears to the ground as we live in the New York City area and were planning our wedding out of town in Colorado. They connected us with amazing vendors, answered every question and made sure all of our bases were covered —including things we hadn’t considered! They were available in person for necessary appointments. They effectively managed our timeline, and our wedding went off without a hitch! The best part was really listening to our ideas and making our vision come to life. I cannot sing their praises enough! I highly recommend Michele and the team!

I cannot imagine having a wedding without a coordinator and Micah made sure everything was perfect. Even before the wedding she checked in with us several times and always had all of the details figured out, even things I hadn't even though of. The day of the wedding, she coordinated all of the conversation with our vendors, they knew my hotel and room number so they could just show up without me having to send a single text. She made sure everything happened exactly on time and the whole day was just perfect. We could not have done it without Micah, Michele, Jade, and Urban Events!

We hired Urban Events and worked with Michele for our micro wedding in June and are so thankful we did! I didn't think I would need a Coordinator for a small wedding but I was dead WRONG. This was my first time getting married, and to say I was clueless was an understatement. There are a million moving pieces when it comes to planning and Michele was on top of EVERYTHING—even the smallest details that I never would have thought of. On top of being incredibly competent and professional, Michele is a down-to-Earth and super cool person. She made us feel so comfortable and totally at ease. Like we knew once we hired her, we wouldn't have to worry about anything—and we didn't! She took great care of us and knew exactly how to navigate routey inlaws, tipsy guests, and Momzilla's with patience and grace, lol. I had a completely amazing, stress-free day thanks to her and her assistant (who was also incredible). Urban Events has the best wedding planners in Colorado. Period. Don't even bother going anywhere else and book them like yesterday!

Michele and Micah are a dream team! They helped me every step of the way. From vendors cancelling with little notice to running around in the heat to help set up the perfect ceremony. They are amazing!

My Wife and I had an amazing experience with Urban Events from start to finish. All our wedding plans were placed on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions, once those restrictions were lifted, we were left with about 3 months to plan our wedding. Finding Urban Events was a godsend, they had the organization, drive and connections to get our wedding going by Spring. Many told us this was impossible, and we should just wait till next year, but we have waited long enough( 2 years to be exact). All the guests including us were extremely impressed with the outcome and flow, if I had to do it again I would pick Urban events every-time. Exceptional work and very pleasant staff!

Michele and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We had our dream wedding and truly could not have done any of it without her! I could not thank her enough for everything she did for us! I would give Urban Events all the stars if I could!

I could always count on them to answer emails and provide me with the assistance I needed. They even went to vendors with me and did a walkthrough of the space! Having a planner, specifically a day of coordinator, is the BEST money any couple can spend. I am a control freak, but it was so lovely to step back and be able to truly enjoy our big day. We met Michele what feels like forever ago at a wedding expo. We knew immediately that we wanted her to be our planner for the big day. Everything was accounted for, all the little things people say will go wrong didn't. I truly believe it was in large part to Michelle and Micah's partnership and Michelle's knack for finding good people to work with. Most of our vendors came from her recommendations and everything single one of them were above and beyond amazing. Michelle accommodated our requests, and when things could possibly cause issues she let us know in a way that wasn't pushy or demanding. I can't say enough about her. She was the best. Our wedding was on June 26, 2021. Michele was working with me a year and a half before my big day and I seriously couldn't have done it without her. She also made me realize there were certain things I didn't need to focus my energy on and I'm glad I didn't. She validated my feelings and understood the stress I was under. And if you take one thing away from this review, please let it be that Michele will have your back completely and will ALWAYS look out for you and your future spouse's best interest. FIVE days before our wedding, our original venue cancelled on us at the last minute. She worked endlessly on helping us find a last minute venue and reaching out to all the vendors to keep them updated. Urban Events has great connections to various vendors that have helped us along the way and will not disappoint. We loved Michele and can't thank her enough for helping us create the wedding we had envisioned even with the chaos that was thrown at us! WE DID IT MICHELE! ❤️

My husband and I had our wedding June 2021, after postponing from May 2020. Michele was our guide and support the entire way. It was incredibly stressful at times. Understanding what pieces were already set from the year before and picking up the missing pieces that I had forgotten about. She helped me stayed organized and calm. Weddings are complicated and I was in over my head. I had the impression that I could have a relaxed wedding with no stress because that is the type of person I am. I was unaware of how many details a bride has to manage and make decisions on. Michele walked me through every detail and timing factor that I was naive with and helped me be a decisive bride. Her team was exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind to my wild family and all of my vendors. I never thought I’d need a coordinator and could not have been more wrong!
