To my dearest Urvashi, What a journey it has been! 20 months, 10 events, 1000 emails, 1000 calls and hundreds of texts later we made it! 💕 I don’t think anyone has been part of our journey as long as you have and I couldn’t be more grateful! From helping Chintan plan the proposal to literally helping me walk down the aisle you were there for it all! There are thousands of planners, but there’s only one urvashi :) She makes sure the bride, groom, the parents the immediate guests and every single guest is taken care of. Her team of Khilah, Faten and Brandon have been the heart of our wedding! You don’t realize how much you need a bridal assistant until you have one! Everyone is busy getting ready even your family and friends but Khilah stayed by my side whenever I needed her! Planning the wedding has been a task for sure but our 2-3 hour long logistic calls, and walkthroughs and vendor meetings made it all worth it in the end! Urvashi was the best wedding planner a bride and groom could ask for. I truly do not know how my husband and I would have gotten through the planning process and wedding weekend without her and her team. She helped us and our families every step of the way from solidifying a date and venue to thank you cards post-event. She always remains calm under pressure and is extremely effective at problem-solving on the spot which was very comforting to know as a bride. Her relationship with vendors is extremely valuable. Urvashi was the most amazing wedding planner and partner to have during this complicated process! We cannot say enough good things about her. From the moment we started working with Urvashi, she made us feel at ease knowing that she had every aspect of the planning process covered and was committed to creating the wedding of our dreams. Every items was flawlessly coordinated, from the itinerary to vendor selection to set up and execution on our wedding day. Given we were looking to have a fusion wedding with Jewish and Indian elements built in, it was not easy to find vendors and suppliers who were able to cater to both, but Urvashi was able to scour her network and find the perfect caterers, officiants, musicians, decorators, and more! Urvashi also did an amazing job making sure that we felt her heard and our needs were well met, but also catered to our families and loved ones concerns / preferences to the extent possible which was very important to us and helped create a feeling of inclusion during the wedding planning process. Lastly, we just like to stress the seriousness and commitment that Urvashi brings to every engagement - we truly felt as though she was an extension of our family and was genuinely invested in our wedding being a success. This especially became apparent when we had a last minute cancellation of one of the musicians on the day of our Welcome Event and she tapped into her network, going above and beyond to make sure we found a replacement. We can’t say enough to thank Urvashi for making mountains move to help plan our wedding celebrations in under 5 months. From start to finish, she was a dedicated visionary working to make everything happen exactly the way we wanted it to happen, all with a raging global pandemic. This review feels very delayed as we got married a few months ago, and it is delayed but not because we have nothing to say about Urvashi, it’s because we have so much to say and be thankful for that we’re finding it hard to put into words in a review. We knew from the first conversation we had with Urvashi that she was the real deal. Even though our parents had pretty much already chosen her to be our wedding planner, she took the time to speak with us and make sure that we got along with her and understood each other's style before committing to anything. She made it very clear that she wasn’t taking the job unless she got approval from the bride and groom, and we loved that about her. Urvashi is the ultimate multitasker; she gets things done before you even have a chance to think of the next thing you want to add to your to-do list. She gives you space to think and make decisions while giving you all the creative ideas and options, but at the same time understands what you’re looking for and is able to advise on the decisions to be made when you’re stuck or need another opinion. The relationship she has with vendors is truly valuable. We felt like we were being treated with the utmost respect and quality of services, just because we were working with Urvashi. We loved that Urvashi would get equally excited about our wedding and all the decisions involved as if it were her own family members' wedding. By the end of the process, it was hard to imagine our wedding without Urvashi. Even now, three months later, we have family and friends telling us and asking us who this wonder woman Urvashi is, and how she pulled off such an amazing week of events at two houses (Bride and Groom), two venues, a hotel, with numerous vendors. We have so much to be thankful for and this simple review cannot do her justice, but we hope that this gives you a glimpse into not only how amazing of a person she is, but how valuable it is to have her on your side for your big day

There are not enough words in the book to describe how monumental of a human Urvashi herself and her team are. She guided me almost every step of the way right from the very beginning when I first started planning my wedding. She helped me re-organize my entire wedding agenda after it had gotten postponed due to Covid from November 7, 2020 to a year later in September 11,2021. She is super creative, assertive and most of all very responsive via phone-calls, texts and emails. She remains calm under all pressure and is extremely effective at problem solving on the spot. Her Team was so attentive and made sure every major to minor detail was taken care of. Urvashi and her team coordinated all of my pre-wedding events, and the wedding and reception as well. They handled every aspect of each event so impeccably and made it a point to make sure we as hosts remained stress free and really truly got to enjoy our events. She is a truly passionate wedding planner / coordinator and it reflects in her work all throughout. Everyone looking for a smooth wedding planning process should look further than Urvashi.

Wedding planning is stressful, but Urvashi made the process so much easier and comfortable for us. We had to cancel and postpone our wedding due to COVID, and Urvashi helped us move forward with replanning all our events. She has so much knowledge to offer, and she works to make your wedding unique. Urvashi did a great job navigating what we wanted as well as what our families wanted. She truly thinks about all the details and keeps you on track throughout the planning process. There were a few mishaps that took place during our events that we didn’t even know about until after the wedding was over because Urvashi and her team took care of everything. You will be making a lot of decisions for your wedding, from the venue, to the decor, outfit, jewelry, rituals etc etc. The single most important decision is hiring the right person to plan and manage your big day. Everything else is secondary! I can tell you she was the best decision I made apart from who I chose to marry. Every couple has a vision of how they want their big day to be and no matter how organized and prepared you think you are, having Urvashi is like having that best friend, sister, aunt that knows you, understands you and helps you execute your vision. So many things do go wrong last minute no matter how many times you've reviewed a contract, how many you've done a walkthrough and rehearsals and however many weddings you may have attended or helped with. Her team takes care of everything and you actually get to "live in the moment" during your big day and watch your vision come to life. If perfect exists in reality, it’s Urvashi. She is a complete rockstar with the focus and drive of a monk. Her work ethic is truly commendable and it really shows in all her productions. There was not one minuscule hiccup to be found during our five day wedding. Urvashi thought of every little detail (including things we didn’t even know we needed), and her hardworking and diligent team executed them all flawlessly. She balanced multiple Type-A personalities without a single ounce of visible or verbal frustration. She is so easy to work with and encouraged us throughout the whole processes to tailor our wedding to our personalities with lots of new and different ideas. She harmonized with all our vendors (both new and old to her company) as if they were all old friends. Urvashi was by our side throughout the entire planning process, and kept things organized from day 1. Everyone told us that in having a huge Indian wedding, we as the couple, would not be able to truly enjoy the day. However with our secret weapon Urvashi, Sunny and I were genuinely smiling ear to ear from before dawn to well after sundown for five days straight. Not only did we enjoy all the events, her team even somehow kept us fed and hydrated throughout our wedding and reception. She made it very clear that our only job would be to enjoy and take in all the moments for the five days and she absolutely did not break that promise. If I had to choose one word to describe Urvashi, it would be passionate! Karan and I hired Urvashi Mishra back in January 2019 for our wedding that was in November 2019. She worked diligently and efficiently within a short amount of time. She not only went above and beyond with her hard work, but she ensured that all expectations were met. A piece of advice for anyone that’s interested in hiring Urvashi, you tell her and let her take care of it. Urvashi took on the incredible task to help us plan in 2 weeks our Roka ceremony and then 8 weeks later our wedding (which was 2.5 days of events)! On top of that, it was a fusion Mexican/Indian wedding during COVID! The words thank you are not enough to even describe how grateful we are to Urvashi and her team. She was meticulous with each step. Her relationship with vendors made the process easy to select the right one. And she managed multiple personalities and expectations. The rollercoaster ride of planning, to the unexpected turns during the execution were all worth the hard work everyone put in to it. Nitin and I are forever in Urvashi's debt. She is more than a wedding planner, more than a person, more than a vendor - she is pure magic. Every moment of our magical wedding we owe to her. She was on top of things we didn't even know we needed. We had amazing vendors who went above and beyond, mostly recommended by Urvashi of course, but it was clear that they delivered so excellently because of the relationship they have with Urvashi. She took care of every detail with precision and care, she handled a very emotional time (planning a wedding during the pandemic) with grace and calm, and she never made us feel like we were unreasonable for wanting the very best while being mindful of our budget. I can't imagine a situation that Urvashi could not handle, given that our wedding threw everything at her and she handled each one incredibly, often making better solutions than were initially proposed! The most common words I heard all weekend were 'Urvashi handled it'. Any time any situation came up, within 10 seconds of me learning about it, the update came in "Urvashi has already handled it." Honestly, we could NOT have done it without her. I don't know how anyone does. If you are even thinking about hiring Urvashi, do not think about - just do it. You will not regret it and your wedding will be more than you ever could have imagined. All because of her. From the moment Urvashi and I spoke on the phone over a year ago I knew that she was going to be the right wedding planner for us. She was prompt with all of her calls, emails, and text. She made sure that not only myself and Roshan were taken care of but our entire family. She went above and beyond for each and every one of our guest who she had just met. Our family was planning a Hindu LGBT event, and we wanted to make it really memorable and beautiful. I knew that there could be no one better than Urvashi Mishra. Wholehearted acceptance of LGBT people is not always a given in our desi community. But we had no such issues with Urvashi in our corner. She was able to connect us to all the right people, from photographer to decorator to DJ. Urvashi is the personification of "What is done in love is done well". She took care of so many things for us and did it all with LOVE. In retrospect, I feel so lucky to have been connected to Urvashi when we decided to pull of our wedding planning in two months. She had an ability to make everyone in my family feel at ease through the process. Urvashi knows her stuff and it is evident in every conversation we had with her. We had limited familiarity with the wedding planning world, and she was an incredible guide - giving us great recommendations, following our lead when we asked, and being attentive to the things that were important to us. Our family moved up my sister's wedding date by almost a year, and thanks to Urvashi everything came together in a way that we couldn't have imagined within only a few weeks. In the process of planning my sister's wedding, we realized that having a wedding planner was crucial, and we were incredibly lucky to come across Urvashi on the recommendation of a family friend. Not only did she maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times (no matter what day of the week, hour of the day), she did so with incredible attention to detail and enthusiasm. Each and every time we hit a wall, or came across an issue, Urvashi came in and helped us come to a solution with great speed and ease. Urvashi was the best decision we made! Her presence has a calm to it so no matter what unexpected storm would hit she would swoop in and save the day. Our wedding weekend was long - we had a Sangeet, Hindu Ceremony, Christian Ceremony, and Reception. I had 13 bridesmaids who I wanted to get ready with me in the morning, vendors, 400 guests - many of whom did not understand the Indian rituals. Urvashi's suggestions for timing/scheduling, how to be inclusive, and how to get everything that we wanted done in such a short period of time were all reasons we were able to have our dream wedding! Her staff was so pleasant, made us laugh, and made the wedding weekend so low stress and enjoyable. I was able to call her any time with any crises. My now-husband's family's rooms all got canceled at the Hanover Marriott. When I spoke to the manager they told me there was nothing to do, and then she swooped in and took care of it - everyone got a room. Someone had stolen our jai malas from the refrigerator and right prior to the ceremony she was able to find them and in the nick of time I was able to walk down the isle with the jai malas I had specifically picked out. She just made it all happen and I can't thank her enough. Highly recommend to all the brides out there who truly want to enjoy every moment and be present for the biggest weekend of their lives!

We knew from the second we met Urvashi that we didn’t want anyone else to plan our wedding. She is an exceptional wedding planner, and she went above and beyond to understand and execute our vision for our wedding. We had a fusion wedding which meant we had a lot of unique needs, and Urvashi was invaluable to the planning process. We had our Mehndi Night on Thursday, Rehearsal Dinner on Friday, Hindu and Western ceremonies and reception on Saturday, so she had her work cut out for her! She was always available to us in the months leading up to the wedding, and planned weekly status calls with us to make sure everything was on schedule. She recommended great vendors when asked as well. During the week of the wedding, Urvashi and her team (especially Mayang) took care of everything, including picking up food, liquor, and dessert for many of our events. She was lovely to work with, organized, closely followed a detailed timeline that she created, professional, extremely supportive, and seamlessly connected all the vendors for all our events. Everything went so smoothly, which is a testament to Urvashi’s skills and work ethic! We were very lucky to have Urvashi plan our wedding! She felt like family from day one, and we miss her and our weekly calls already!

Our son who lives in New York got married in July of this year. We live in California. It was a mixed wedding and we had the tough task of planning the Indian part of the wedding from across the country without really knowing the area or the resources around there. We just had our Indian/Bengali Hindu wedding for my wife and I in Princeton, New Jersey and it went fantastically, in no small part to Urvashi. She began helping us organize the wedding over a year in advance of the wedding. She already had a list of vendors (hotel, music, food, photography, cake etc...) who she knew, and who knew each other, which was extremely helpful as they were able to pull everything together seamlessly for the wedding and the reception, allowing us to actually enjoy the day of the wedding. She was extremely helpful, nice, thoughtful, and indispensable for maintaining our sanity in the weeks/months up to the wedding.

My husband and I had a large and multicultural (Hindu and Christian) hybrid outdoor wedding. The coordination was expertly done by Urvashi. She had an excellent timeline and worked well with all our vendors. The team that she brought with her was indispensable on the day of as well the mehndi party. She went above an beyond at many points throughout the weekend. There were many times when she was thinking 3-4 steps ahead and helped avoid potential problems. Overall she was calm and amazingly competent. She arrived several days before the wedding and helped with multiple parts of the set up process for get togethers before the actual wedding events. We have zero doubts that if we had to choose again we would 100% choose Urvashi and her team. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted.

Deciding to have Urvashi help with our wedding planning was one of the best decisions we made. Absolutely fantastic and probably the best investment of our wedding! Even though we hired Susmita about 3 weeks prior to the wedding, we don't know what we would have done without her. We had 4 events and Urvashi was extremely helpful in planning and organizing everything for the event. On the actual events she was fantastic an ensuring everything went smoothly and was always there to trouble shoot when a problem arose.
