Utmost Films is led by owner Derek Marmolijo. He's inspired by each couple's unique love story and seeks to document their bond of love through video. He likes to make friends with his clients, getting to know their personalities so he can better capture their one-of-a-kind and unique spirit.
Derek can begin capturing your love story, commemorating the beginning of this exciting new stage in your lives. On your wedding day, an assistant videographer can accompany him to make sure no detail goes unnoticed. Utmost Films offers both story-driven cinematic highlight films and full-length videos of the ceremony and reception as add-ons, giving you various ways to relive the magic of the day. Drone footage can also be incorporated into the film.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect. From start to finish, every single element was perfect.
Derek Marmolijo sent a questionnaire to the couple asking about things that are important to producing the perfect film especially for the bride and groom, which personalized their wedding memories, again, perfectly.
The drone footage, the music, the elegance, and most importantly, the overall flavor of this incredibly special day was fully captured by the artistry and precision of Derek and his assistant.
The film has over 1k views on social media in under a week after publishing. "Tears of joy" is the common theme in the reviews.
I give this vendor 3 thumbs up, 10 stars out of 5, and I'll throw in a bunch of cartwheels to express my absolute gratitude to Utmost Films.
Derek is the BEST. He perfectly captured our day. It really feels like we get to relive it every time we watch our beautiful video, which we have a million times. The quality of work is so top tier, it all flows so nicely, includes both the sweetest and funnest moments and connects it all perfectly. Also, Derek was super nice and easy to work with from the very beginning to the big day. Everything went so smoothly and seemed effortless, although we’re sure it is not and we appreciate his hard work so much. Derek and his Utmost Films team is amazingggg and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Derek was a true gem to work with for our wedding film. He made the booking process very simple, convenient, and informative of everything we wanted to include for our wedding package. He was very professional, friendly, personable, and maintained an open line of communication with us throughout our wedding planning process even during the peak of covid when we had to eventually postpone our wedding. As it got closer to wedding day, Derek took initiative in contacting our other vendors (coordinator, photography, etc.), which I believe allowed for a smooth process and collaboration come wedding day. Derek was also always readily available for phone meetings to discuss our vision for our wedding and was very attentive to our needs to bring it to life in our wedding film. On wedding day, Derek and his assistant Leslie was very fun and friendly and worked well with our photography team to capture all the memories of the day, which was of utmost importance to us. After only a few weeks after our wedding, we received our wedding teaser and then our highlight film and it sure did not disappoint. Derek did an amazing job of capturing all the best moments of our special day, which we will treasure for a lifetime. I have to say booking Derek and his team at UtmostFilm for our wedding was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. Thank you Derek!
If I could give Derek 5 million stars I would! His work is truly amazing, we love our wedding video so much. It all flows so well, his style is impeccable! He was professional yet chill from beginning to end. He delivered our teases and highlight so quickly too, I think he is a magician on the side LOL Thank you Derek for blessing us with amazing memories of our wedding day!
Phenomenal work! Derek is super easy to work with and EXTREMELY good at what he does! His footage of our wedding was amazing and the highlight he created truly brought us to tears. It took a few months to get our video but it was worth the wait!! Thank you, Derek!
Derek was such a joy to work with! I could immediately tell from his social media and website that we would connect with him pretty quickly. After our first meeting with him we knew we didn’t want to work with anyone else. His communication and sweet gestures made us feel special and cherished. He took the time to get to know us, what was important to us, and asked that we trust in his creative and artistic abilities. He was so professional and very prompt with his communication. And he finished our video so quickly! And we are so happy and in love with our video! I cry and smile every time I watch it because it brings back the beauty of our day. So we were hesitate to add a film to our wedding budget, but then I thought, "If I'm spending X amount on my dress to rent for one day, why shouldn't we spend X amount on our wedding film that will last a lifetime?!!" Derek did a wonderful job on a friends wedding video. The editing is really professional and creative. I was impressed with the drone footage and how the wedding was captured through his lens. From little moments taken in the brides room while she’s getting ready for her big day to the speeches said by close family members, it all unfolded together so nicely. An added bonus was the fact that you can hardly tell he was in the room capturing all of these moments. I would highly recommend his work to friends and family.
The highlight video was amazing! Derek worked well with the photographer as well. He told an amazing story better than I can speak it and he captured the audio of the speeches and vows perfectly. He was friendly, professional and very easy to work with. Thank you for all the hard work!

Okay, so Derek and his assistant were AMAZING! They knew every angle to capture of our special day! The ending video that he created for our wedding was more than I could have ever imagined. Me any husband still watch the video and I still cry, laugh and smile because of how he captured the moments. I was so grateful because I missed a lot of the moments due to being a bride! Haha The whole day and night was a blur for me any husband, so we were so excited to have this awesome video to watch after the wedding. I HIGHLY recommend Derek to capture your special day! :-)
