Vacations With Flair

Well, April 2019 less than 60 days until final payment is due; Angee then sent us an "updated invoice" advising that there was a discrepancy in the child rate and we were now responsible for paying the difference. Neither Angee nor her staff did anything to help us or our guests due to their error. Instead, Angee stated that we should have looked at the rates on the resort website and crossed referenced them with the rates she provided. Clearly, I should have booked directly through the resort instead of through Vacations with Flair since Angee was no help whatsoever. The resort wedding coordinator was much more helpful than the Vacations with Flair team.

d an hour and a half. We missed our flight to St. Lucia by 30 minutes and were stuck in Miami for the night. This threw off our reservations for our helicopter tour as well as the fact that we were going to lose a whole night in our butler suite. We called her as soon as we landed in Miami and within 2 hours she called us back and said everything was taken care of. She had pushed our stay out an additional night and rebooked our helicopter ride. She took the stress off of us and allowed us to enjoy our little detour stop in Miami. She was absolutely amazing and would recommend her to anyone who is traveling!

We are so thankful that we found Aimee who guided us through the entire process of planning a wedding in another country and coordinated seamlessly the individual travel for each and every one of our guests. She was flexible and easy to reach at any time and most importantly saved us and our guests a lot of money and possible headaches. Our wedding date and days leading up to it was storybook. We worked on the planning for approximately 9 months prior to our wedding date with the onsite wedding coordinator and our travel agent. We stayed in the Casitas section and our guests stayed in the Royale side (budget friendly) as well as the Casitas (more luxurious). We even had a few guests including my sister who wanted to bring her children but since we chose an Adults Only resort our Travel Agent had them accommodated at the neighboring sister resort, Generations, which is connected to the Casitas and my sister & brother and law had unlimited access to the Adults Only side. It worked out fantastic because my husband and I didn’t have to compromise our choice in having an adults only resort. Our wedding coordinator Valeria that our travel agent chose for us was fantastic. She detailed out with pictures and prices all the options to make our wedding unique and fun. We had a private welcome reception with our guests the night prior to our wedding rather than having a rehearsal dinner. Our Travel Agent arranged this for us complimentary. It was a great way for our friends and family to all get to know each other, I definitely recommend going this route. Valeria was on point with all our details and kept an ongoing spreadsheet so we always knew where our budget was at. Our guests were all across the board in whether they wanted to relax or explore off the resort. Some just wanted to sit at the pool bar and soak up the sun while others wanted to explore. Our travel agent took care of each of our guests excursions as well as our group excursion (my husband and I planned a booze cruise for all our guests as a gift for coming) prior to departure. We are so very happy we chose El Dorado for our special day. After our return we received a credit based on the number of rooms booked. We actually forgot about this credit that we learned about in our initial planning stages and our Travel Agent sent us an email letting us know what our credit was going to be about a week after we returned. We were so stoked and we are going to save that money to put toward our Anniversary return visit to Casitas. Definitely go with a Travel Agent when going through the Destination Wedding process. It helped us to take the fear out of the “unknown”. A big shout out to Aimee from Island Getaways (aimee@myislandgetaways.com), she was awesome throughout our entire planning process and we could not have done it the way we did without her.

excellent at getting us the most for within our budget, and always provided timely responses to our questions/concerns. She didn't even blinked as we got to the end of the planning process and had a minor glitch with one of our passports - she truly was wonderful. I do not, in anyway, hesitate to COMPLETELY recommend Angee for your travel planning needs.

d us the most perfect honeymoon spot at Sandals Emerald Bay! Angee was awesome to work with and was very responsive to our needs and questions. She also checked in with us before, during, and after our honeymoon to make sure we had a great time! We will most definitely use Angee's services when planning our next trip!

Both trips went off without a hitch and we even were comped to bigger/better rooms in Punta Cana (went from a standard room to a Presidential Suite at the Hard Rock... we will never forget it!), and I'd like to think it's because we were working with Vacations with Flair. I would definitely work with Angee again and you should feel confident in doing so, too.

I would recommend her to absolutely anyone thinking about traveling. We had a fairytale honeymoon thanks to her help. She really is the best!

en beginning the booking process, I was lost. I did a lot of research, and read a ton of reviews online. I came across 'Vacations with Flair' and decided to give Angee Shields a call. My life was made so much easier from that day forward. Angee has really gotten to know Joe and I as a couple, what our interests were, and what we are looking for in a wedding. I have worked with travel agents before for vacation bookings in the past, but NONE as personable, professional, and honest as Angee at 'Vacations with Flair'. She does more than book your vacation, she has been contacting our wedding coordinator and helping plan all of our events taking place. Gathering information about Joe and I, Angee was able to come up with different countries, locations, resorts, etc. All offering different options for us. We ended up choosing a family friendly, large, well known resort because we are traveling with our nephews and cousins. We are hosting a destination for around 60-80 people at this point, and it has nothing but smooth sailing with Angee's help. All of our guests have contacted and booked their trip with her, so it saves me all of the stress and hassle of dealing with a million questions. She is also helping take care of all of the small details of our day, from flowers, to the paperwork, even to group excursions for our guests to attend during their stay! She is so meticulous, detail oriented, and caring. I know her organization skills and truly caring personality will make our ever dream come true for our wedding day! If you want to work with a company who will make every aspect of your special day Perfect (as if it was her own), then I hope you choose to work with Vacations with Flair.
