The Historic Opera House operates as a unique Special Events Venue in Solano County. The ballroom can seat up to 165 seated guests or it can accommodate up to 200 guests for a standing reception or cocktail party. Our ballroom is furnished with Gold Chiavari Chairs.Whether you are planning an elegant wedding ceremony and reception, luncheon buffet, dinner or cocktail party, or a corporate function, the Opera House is ready to accommodate your special occasion.

e Opera House team is very professional and punctual. They even provided us with a list of great professional vendors that they have been working with in the past events, so that made things smoother for everybody--both vendors and the team were familiar on how things go, so this definitely eliminated some stress off us and/or some possibilities of chaos. They also provide tables, chairs, tablewares, silverwares, linens, and everything--all at a reasonably great price! This was a BIG check on our list, so we didn't have to stress and spend more on finding vendors to supply all those things. They have great customer service, super friendly, yet still professional to communicate and organize with us clearly. They are definitely passionate in what they do and it shows in their execution! Highly recommended.

I HIGHLY reccommend using the Opera house if you are in the Solano Area. They might be a little pricing for a venue but it was well worth it! I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony and receptions! Thanks Patty, Nicole, and Lori!

beautiful chandeliers, the chiavari chairs, the brick walls, and so forth. The staff there offer a lot of items up for use including table number holders, chalkboards, card boxes, decorations, etc. The linens were included and there was a lot to choose from. My only complaint is the bar situation. The Opera House provided two bartenders for the event, which to me seemed like plenty. They only allow you to bring beer, wine, and one specialty drink. The frustration lied in the fact that WE had to pre-make our wedding day cocktail which became quite a hassle. More annoying was that I had asked them in advance if it was ok to have all the ingredients labeled with directions on how to make it and that they could do it the day of. At the last minute they said they could not do that. That was irritating. BUT if that was the only fluke, we were quite lucky. Literally, the day could not have gone better.
Also it would be that much better if the venue had a more private area for the bride before the event so people don't see her. =)

take a tour of the place to witness it's true beauty. The staff was wonderful throughout the process as well as the day of. Everyone from the coordinator to the bartender was very helpful. I enjoyed they fact that The Opera House had multiple items that I was able to use and did not have to rent from outside vendors, such as: Chivari Chairs, Table Numbers, Chalk Boards, Easels, and a cake stand. I was able to use all of these items at no extra cost. That saved me a lot of $$$. If you like chic and vintage, this is the spot for you. It's a two story brick building located in the heart of downtown Vacaville. I am 100% pleased with the staff. All my guest complimented the venue. If I had to do it all over again, I'd still choose The Vacaville Opera House.
