Eric has a style all his own when it comes to editing photos & his eye for framing up shots is unreal. We are so happy with the finished product and love so many of the pictures that we honestly can't decide which ones to print! His jokes and charisma kept the posed shots with family a breeze & kept everyone in high spirits during the hustle and bustle of calling out the shot list. But photography never felt intrusive during the getting-ready process, so we always felt completely in the moment. 10/10. Would book again!

I love looking at my wedding photos and have had zillions of compliments on them. We have worked with Vague Photography several times, family photos, event photos, business photos, tintypes and have always been blown away by the quality of Eric’s work and his professionalism. my sanity! Extremely professional and patient-we took some photos amidst the bugs (read, outdoors) and I struggled! But there’s is no way one would ever know because the photos he produced are magic! Like something out of an enchanted forest. MAGIC! I was also late for the first look, but he took it all in stride. He has given us one of our most prized possessions. I am eagerly anticipating our tintype session while simultaneously trying to figure out any other reason to have him shoot for us 😆 Prior to the date, Eric was wonderful about answering any questions we had, very responsive, and assisted with planning, helping with timeline, etc. (he’s worked countless weddings, this was our first.) Also, I had concerns with lighting, exposure, etc. because I am dark skinned and my wife is not lol and the balance is something we’ve found is difficult to achieve. This does not seem to have been an issue at all. Will definitely hire him again and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who asks for a recommendation!

how to pose you and get all the right angles for the perfect photos. At the time of writing this review (on my honeymoon) we received a couple teaser photos from the wedding and we are already amazed with how those look. I am sure the rest of the photos he delivers will only continue to blow us away. He was very understanding when rescheduling due to COVID, and has been an absolute pleasure to work with this whole time. Super personable, knows how to work with people and make them laugh, all of our family and guests commented on how funny he is. I cannot say enough good things about him and the quality of his business.

Not only are our pictures amazing, but let me just say I am fully willing to admit I am a tightly wound person and Eric handled that with such calm and care. Eric was prompt and professional, while also being warm and thoughtful. He has a great sense of humor and was able to elicit genuine laughter without being intrusive or overbearing, allowing him to capture wonderful intimate, candid shots with our friends and family. He took great care in photographing my dress, which was handed down from my great-grandmother, and my heirloom jewelry. You could tell he finds joy in these special details. During the ceremony itself, we completely forgot he was there, he moved so stealthily around, but he didn't miss a thing. He has an extraordinary eye for light and color, oftentimes evoking a cinematic, ethereal quality that we personally love. The photographs of our wedding are just beautiful. We could not be more pleased or grateful. If we ever have the occasion to need a photographer again, we would return to Vague Photography in a heartbeat. Thank you Eric!!!
