We did the crash course with Asiya a few days before our wedding and it was so worth it!! She transformed us from awkward side swaying to a couple moves that made us so much more confident in our first dance in front of a crowd. Jon and I got the best response at our wedding and so many compliments! Because of COVID, we practiced to our song of choice outdoors and it was a wonderful time spent. We messaged Valeo a whole week ?! before our wedding to ask if they could help us with a few dance moves ahead of our big day. Aisya was so quick to respond to say they could definitely help us in time. We took a single crash course and went from awkwardly swaying off beat to a confident delivery to our chosen first dance song. My fiance and I took the First Dance Wedding Crash Course. We have zero experience with dancing and wanted to do more than the Prom-style dance. Asiya was the perfect teacher! She made us feel comfortable and confident in no time. If we had more time before our wedding, we would have taken more classes. I would 1000% recommend Asiya for wedding dance classes!

My husband and I as well as my dad and I took lessons for the first dance and the father-daughter dance, respectively. My dad was especially nervous about the dance because he says he has "two left feet" and by the end of two lessons, he looked like a pro! Most importantly, we had a blast doing it!

I cannot recommend Asiya enough!! Seriously, my fiancé and I had horrible anxiety about our first dance and she helped us to feel confident and excited! We took four personalized lessons and went from looking like we had never met to dancing with ease and excitement! I also took a lesson with my dad and he had so much fun! Asiya is an amazing dance instructor and such a joy to work with! My fiance and I started out with no dance experience whatsoever and Asiya walked us through the basics to get us comfortable moving and dancing together and eventually built us up to a beautifully choreographed first dance. She also helped my dad and I with our father daughter dance too! Could not recommend her more!!

Asiya is a wonder woman! I was so nervous about our dance because I am not comfortable in front of crowds and she made my fiance and I so at ease and worked with us until we felt so confident! Where do I even begin? Asiya was a fantastic choreographer and teacher. We had a special requirement of two small dance routines for our wedding afterparty - a waltz and a 90s Bollywood number. In spite of not knowing the Bollywood song in advance, Asiya came up with an energetic sequence. My partner and I are not trained dancers. Even then. she was able to create an interesting and unique routine. Asiya was prompt to reply and was receptive to our ideas. She was cognizant of cultural nuances and respectful at all times. We were struggling to find a choreographer who would be able to incorporate both songs into our first dance. We made the right choice by selecting Valeo Dance Studio. Our guests were completely floored. So much so that they expect us to dance at every future function from now on. :) A relative of mine was so impressed with our dance that he said he wants to get married again just to be able to learn and perform a similar routine with his wife!

I am so happy my husband and I took first dance lessons at Valeo. Asiya, the owner and instructor, is incredibly talented and fun to be around. We have no prior dance experience and at times, for my husband, it was incredibly frustrating. She was so patient with both of us. From the moment we walked in, she listened to exactly what we wanted. Within moments, we were practicing. She wastes no time- every minute you pay for, you are learning or practicing. We had the choice of a full choreographed dance or learning dance skills (box step, spins, twirls, dips, and basic lifts) with a semi-choreographed, more natural-looking routine. We chose the latter, so that we could utilize what she taught us for a lifetime. On wedding day, our family and friends were so excited and shocked to see us out there, dipping and spinning. It was, overall, an excellent experience. Would recommend Valeo (and Asiya) without hestitation.

My husband and I had such a great time learning steps to our first dance for our wedding that were perfectly elegant and not too choreographed thanks to Asiya’s professional assistance!!! Asiya at Valeo Dance Studio was amazing. Neither my fiance or I are gifted dancers so we were super nervous for eyes to be on us during our first dance. She lifted all of our anxieties so we won't look like fools in front of our grandparents. In a short session, we learned so much and had a blast. I cannot begin to explain how amazing Asiya is. We were debating if we should do dance lessons prior to our wedding for our first dance. My fiancee thought- we don't need dance lessons! Asiya was amazing and so helpful with our first dance!!! I didn’t want us to look like two middle schoolers at a dance and thanks to Asiya, we didn’t!!! I never felt intimidated because we didn’t have any kind of training and the way she explains things made everything that much easier!!! Asiya was fantastic. We signed up for the six private lesson pkg. and could not have been for pleased. This was for a Father/Daughter wedding dance. We started out slow and then did a medley of very fast moving songs. The wedding crowd loved all of our moves (i.e - actually went crazy) and it went so smooth all due to the practice sessions, and confidence, Asiya instilled upon on us. If you want to have a flawless Father/Daughter dance then Asiya is the best!!!

Asiya was an amazing instructor! My husband and I had no clue what to do for our first dance. We picked “Can’t My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli which is not a song that you can just sway along to. After meeting with Asiya for the first time I could tell she was going to make this dance amazing. Taking dance classes became my favorite part of wedding planning. We cannot say enough great things about Asiya! She taught us a great intro and ending to our selected song and then several basic dance steps to use throughout the middle part of the song. We used the basic dance steps later that night at our wedding on the dance floor and again on our honeymoon when we danced at a bar one night. Best of all, our lessons were fun! We looked forward to the break from the last minute planning details and the chance to connect with each other. We found Asiya through The Knot recommendations and now we highly recommend her to others.

Asiya's instruction is not just for coaching brides and grooms for their first dance: My husband and I, married 49 years (without ever dancing,) were able to show off our dancing skills at our daughter's wedding. Thanks to Asiya's excellent teaching, we were able to catch the rhythm in almost every song and carry on as if we knew what we were doing! My husband's dance with our daughter was lovely as he deftly twirled her out and back in to much applause. We then promenaded and dipped and foxtrotted most of the night away. I really wish we had a "before" video to show how much we progressed, because we were really that bad. I am amazed that after only 4 lessons we not only improved exponentially, but have enough comfort and confidence that we know our first dance is going to be great. Asiya is so much fun! My fiancé and I bought 4 one-hour lessons, and Asiya helped us go from very little proficiency to having a toolkit of moves and partially choreographed but natural first dance for our wedding. She is incredibly nice and has a great personality, and made the process really fun for us. She knows her stuff well and was able to teach us fundamentals as well as sprinkle in more technical / nuanced instruction. The online booking system makes scheduling or rescheduling appointments easy, and the studio (which is very nice) is conveniently located right near the center of Buckhead. We would definitely recommend Asiya for any couple considering taking dance lessons for their first dance at their wedding

Asiya is an amazing teacher! We did a four class private dance lesson package with her to prepare for our wedding. She quickly assessed my minimal level of dance competence (and my wife-to-be's far greater talents) and developed a routine for us based on a very specific song that was fun, easy to learn, and looked great. She's supportive, open to input and extremely enthusiastic. She made taking the classes extremely fun to! I couldn't recommend her any higher if you're looking to do your own wedding dance lessons and need someone to give you something that will look great in person and on camera. In fact, my wife loved the classes so much that she's now planning to take additional dance classes to up her hip hop dancing skills.

If we were up for a full choreographed dance she was ready to go if we wanted more relaxed that was ok too! She adjusts to what the couple wants. We chose a more relaxed dance, we wanted to get the beautiful picture moments of the dip and twirls and we did! Can I give her 10 stars?! Asiya is the sweetest, most patient and talented dance instructor there is. My husband and I decided 3 weeks before our wedding that we wanted to do a surprise first dance (slow dance, then jump into a hip hop dance). I emailed Asiya immediately to see if we could accomplish so much in so little time. She was quick to respond and super excited to get to work. In just 4 lessons, she completely transformed us. She helped me out of my comfort zone. The dance went off without a hitch and it was everyone's favorite part of the night.

We could not have been more pleased with our experience at Valeo and with Asiya! We did the 4 lesson package for our first dance at our wedding. I could not be happier that we booked Asiya for our father-daughter wedding dance lessons. Both my dad and I are not natural dancers and we feel very self conscience when dancing. Asiya was very patient and understanding with us and actually made dancing fun! She adapted our dance multiple times after my dad hurt his back/hip (unrelated to dancing). I was amazed at how many new routines she could come up with with no notice from us. We ended up with a dance that was fun and visually interesting. (I got married in Las Vegas, so I did not want to do a rigid, boring dance). When our father-daughter dance actually happened, I felt confident and happy, all thanks to Asiya. Judging by the comments of our family, we pulled it off. Aside from being an excellent choreographer and instructor, Asiya is also a friendly, nice person. Her energy and personality are infectious. She made me excited to work with her, even when I was frustrated by my own lack of dance skills. I was actually sad when our lessons came to an end because I enjoyed seeing Asiya. I think my dad felt the same way. In summary, Asiya is awesome and I highly recommend her to anyone.

I highly recommend Asiya, she is well versed in every style of dance and music. My now wife and I searched high and low for a choreographer to choreograph a dance for our 400 guest and we felt that Asiya was the perfect fit. Our initial meeting with Asiya was great. She helped us with our song selection to ensure that all of our songs flowed together. Her suggestions were great and helped seal the deal on our choosing her to choreograph our dance. Asiya is great at working with you to get your steps down so that you can wow your guest on your wedding day! She's a perfectionist so be prepared to work hard!

Valeo Dance Studio and Asiya are absolutely THE BEST and 5 stars simply aren't enough!!!! She is truly an expert and knows what she is doing. Asiya created an incredible choreography (elegant, tasteful yet simple and easy to remember) in just 4 lessons to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli. Every lesson is FULL 1 hour (60 minutes) and sometimes she even went a bit longer which was incredible given Atlanta traffic and our long commutes. Definitely a HUGE plus since most studios only do 30 or 45 minute lessons. Asiya and Valeo Dance Studio was the BEST decision and we enjoyed every moment of this experience. Thank you Asiya!

Asiya took our first dance at our wedding to the next level. She was able to choreograph a beautiful dance that wasn't a cheesy "over-choreographed" routine. She made us feel comfortable and equipped that come the big day, we could nail it. Thoroughly enjoyed her classes and would take them all over again. Definitely a great coach and even better dancer. Asiya took the 4 songs (just a few bars from each) my husband and daughter picked and created the most memorable, magical, fun father/daughter dance ever! And then she did the impossible by teaching my daughter and my husband (who's dancing skills are nonexistent) the steps to the dance. I cannot say enough about Asiya! She is a miracle worker! My now husband and I had no previous dance experience prior to the 4 one-hour private wedding sessions we had here at Valeo. Not only did we pull together a 3 1/2 minute dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect”, but we thoroughly enjoyed the dance lessons and plan to do some more in the future! I'll be honest, we put off booking dance lessons for our wedding. 1 year turned in to 6 months, which turned into 3, and finally we were at 6 days left until the wedding without a single dance lesson. Enter Asiya. First we had a consultation, where she got a feel for what we wanted, advised us on what we could expect, and suggested some music. Then, we took two one-hour lessons. Throughout the process, she was patient and communicated extremely well. She went through the moves with us time and time again, making sure we had a baseline that we could practice and fine tune at home. She worked with our strengths and our weaknesses, ultimately coming up with a routine that was both comfortable to us, and impressive to our guests. We couldn't have done it without her, and will not hesitate to go to her for future dance lessons. Asiya was nothing short of perfect. Neither my soon-to-be wife or I had any formal training, yet she was able to teach us a fully choreographed 2:30 dance in just four one hour sessions. On top of that, she taught my Mom and I, as well as my fiancée and her father, separate dances. Asiya is a dynamo! Had our music ready at the first lesson my son, Lucas, and I had for our mother/son dance. My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Asiya. We received 8 individualized dancing lessons for our wedding. Asiya thoughtfully listened to our desires for the dance and choreographed our dance from start to finish! The end product was amazing! She is a very talented dancer who has a true knack for teaching. Asiya is able to break down choreography into small pieces for those of us who struggle with rhythm! She was able to fine tune the dance in session when something was not working, and she was able to highlight the aspects of the dance (and our dancing styles) that were working. Asiya is a talented dancer and a talented teacher, which made our experience really fun and delightful. To top it all off she always has positive attitude and is an awesome motivator. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn dance moves for any type of event. I am confidant our wedding dance will be amazing, and it definitely could not happen without Asiya! This was the first experience I have had with learning to dance, and I was more than pleasantly surprised with the amount of fun I had and the amount I was able to learn!

Asiya was great! We were referred by another couple who also used her. Prior to meeting her we had not done any research but after our first session we knew she was legit. There are some YouTube videos of her performing that prove it. What we needed was a teacher though and she was excellent at that too. Started with the basics (which we needed) and worked our way up to a great first dance performance for our wedding in 4 sessions. Rated a 5, should be 100 stars if I could!! We moved from Boston in June 2016. I spent MULTIPLE weekends looking for an equivalent gym in ATL with the diversity of classes and quality of fitness instructors (FYI never found it) but I stumbled across Valeo Dance (and dance is truly the only cardio one needs). BEST DECISION EVER. I started attending Valeo Dance classes weekly and LOVED them. So naturally... throughout wedding planning, I wanted to do an EPIC first dance. Seriously - everything happens for a reason. Immediately, I knew after a few classes with Asiya that SHE was the key to making our first dance fantastic and super fun. Originally we had a 3 song mix but based on Asiya's experience and recommendations, we made it a 4 song, 2.5 min. with DJ-like song transitions in between. We LOVE LOVE LOVED working with individuals who understand their craft and aren't afraid to share their opinions and expertise with us to make it even more BADASS. On our wedding day, the dance was SOOO much fun and definitely got our guests up and dancing. Truthfully I believe our wedding isn't about us, its about all our family and friends that have helped shape us to who we are. So we're so happy that our wedding party was able and willing to join us for the last part of dance. We've become great friends with Asiya and would hands down, without a doubt recommend her to anyone, anytime, anywhere. My fiancé and I are far from professional dancers, and knew we would need help getting ready for our first dance. Our wedding is in a week and we are doing a very simple slow dance, and just wanted to get the basics down. We took two classes with Asiya and I could not be happier! She very quickly helped us get down the basic moves and even helped us learn some fancy twists, dips, and jumps. If our budget would have allowed, I would have taken at least one more class with her to really master it - she is so great! Thank you, Asiya!

We contacted Asiya after reading reviews here and everything was absolutely true! She replied right away, discussed with us what our goal was and was very honest in terms of what we needed. She helped us pick our song out of a few options and within only 4 hours of classes, she came up with a routine that we were able to follow and looked great. It was not too difficult, but still amazing and it was easy for us to follow and still look natural. She taught us just enough detail and made it so easy for us. My son and I met Asiya when we asked her to choreograph and teach us a fun Mother/Son dance that would surprise all of our wedding guests. You have to realize that we (me and my son) have two left feet and are known in the family as the two individuals who should never step foot on a dance floor. Not only did Asiya create a fantastic dance for us she was an amazing instructor and managed to teach us how to look good on the dance floor. Our guests were absolutely amazed. Our dance was a medley of 3 songs; Bruno Mars "Uptown Funk", Aerosmith "Walk This Way", and Celine Dion "Because You Loved Me". First of all, the choreography was great. She is amazingly talented at being able to create dance steps that not only align with the song but also our skill level - making us look good. Secondly, she is an amazing teacher. We loved going to class because we would always walk away with the feeling of "Wow - we didn't know we could do that!" There were obviously times that we struggled with steps but she always knew how to break it down in a way that helped us overcome those obstacles. The net result was an amazing dance that had our guests on their feet yelling and cheering as soon as the song started. Lastly, Asiya is an amazing person who started out as our dance teacher but is now also our friend. Her high energy always positive personality lights up the room and made all of our lessons fun. We were honored that Asiya came to our wedding to share our special day. I'm just sad that our lessons are over - going to miss seeing her. If you're looking for an amazing dance teacher to help you create a special memory at an upcoming event - I highly recommend Asiya and Valeo Dance. She is absolutely the best ever!

I am not going to lie, I was dragged to this by my future wife. However, Asiya made it so easy and fun the time went by so quick and I really really enjoyed it. She tailors your dance directly to your song, so you really only go through what you need to know to get through the big day. Asiya has so much enthusiasm you can't help but get into it, even if you're a terrible dancer like me. She makes you feel very comfortable and she is an extremely talented instructor. In two lessons we got down an entire first dance routine, which seems like a lot but it was all very straight forward and we had a ton of fun doing it! Could not recommend her highly enough - it was a blast!

In the heart of wedding planning, my fiancé (now husband) and I wanted to find some time for a fun activity that took our mind off the craziness of wedding planning for just us (we didn't tell any of out friends or family) and all of our work travel. We also wanted to have a fun and innovative first dance. Sooooo....we entrusted Asiya and over the course of a few months, she helped prepare us for our first dance. We can't say enough amazing things - neither of us had taken organized dance classes before and she helped make us look like we did. Plus we had a lot of fun and burned a few extra calories doing so!! When we brought her three songs we liked (a Bruno mars, a Beyoncé, and a Michael Jackson), she put them together in a way that flowed and was easy for us to practice when we weren't in the studio. We even recorded ourselves and our steps so both of us could practice outside of class! Additionally, Asiya's constant support, positive attitude, and confidence in both of us was never-ending (especially when my OCD self wanted pure perfection and my husband was more laid back). We hope that others take advantage of this special dance studio - Asiya is wonderful and is in love with dance and has fun doing it (and being there) - you can tell it's her passion. We hope you have as much fun as we did and take some time as a couple to do something like this before the big day. We are so glad we did and incredibly glad we went with Asiya and Valeo fitness!!

Highly recommend Valeo Dance Studio! My fiancè and I took dance lessons for our wedding and had little experience dancing together. The instructor, Aysia was so patient with us and is full of energy! She made each class fun and we feel so much more confident with our first dance for the wedding day!

5 stars aren't enough, I want to give Asiya 10! This was such an enjoyable experience for my husband and I. We both agree, the most fun we had during the wedding planning process was our lessons with Asiya. We wouldn't have done it any other way. I have formal dance experience, but my husband had none. Asiya did a great job of helping him to feel comfortable on the dance floor and even prepared us for our guest's reactions during the dance so we wouldn't get distracted. Our dance was a hit and got our reception off to a great start. Thank you Asiya!

Asyia went WAY above and beyond our expectations - highly recommend no matter what your skill level! Starting with a bride and groom who combined had zero dance lessons / experience between us, we came in expecting to learn the box step and maybe a dip or two at most. After 4 short lessons, we came out with a full 2.5 minute performance that Asyia choreographed specifically for our first dance song, complete with lifts, dips, and twirls. Can't stress enough how patient and understanding of a teacher she was, especially with students who came in afraid to step on each other toes. Would absolutely book with Asyia again for our wedding, and for any future events where we need to up our dance game!
