When my wife and I started considering wedding photographers, Helen was hands down our number one choice! We were thrilled she was available on our wedding date because she is in such high demand! Helen is not only INCREDIBLY talented but she also has the very rare ability to keep you at ease amidst the wedding chaos. She really made our day so perfect and we feel truly blessed. We can’t wait to see all of the beautiful work Helen will continue to do in the future!

We are so happy with our engagement photos! Taking the photos was so much fun, you see Valera Wedding photos on Instagram where the couples are laughing in every shot and that’s how it felt during the shoot. None of the photos are staged and we could just be ourselves. Helen knows how to capture the moments where a couple is at ease and comfortable. At times you forget that someone is taking your photo. I don’t consider myself to be photogenic, but all of our engagement photos look amazing and it’s all thanks to Helen!

Helen was absolutely wonderful to work with! In all honesty, she was initially our plan B (our original photographer had a scheduling conflict), but we loved her so much that we ended up being so glad our first photographer had to cancel on us. She is so full of life that you can't help but feel comfortable around her. Her pre-shoot questionnaire asked insightful questions that helped her capture the perfect moments (e.g. she'd ask "what about that day are you most looking forward to" instead of "what do you want pictures of"), and she took in stride all of the little mishaps that happened throughout the day. We absolutely adore our final pictures, and could not recommend her enough.

We have not yet gotten all of the photos from our engagement shoot two days ago, but Helen has already sent us nearly 20 preview shots, and they are unreal! Each image she sent us is expertly composed and the lighting is nothing short of gorgeous. AND the shoot itself was an absolute blast! During the shoot, Helen made us feel totally at ease (a nontrivial feat for those who tend to be awkward in front of the camera)—she was bubbly, goofy, and most importantly, totally willing to experiment and just have a good time. The photos perfectly capture our joy, and we have already gotten so many compliments on them! Thank you so much, Helen!!
