this review because of the exceptional experience I had with their team, especially Susan. From the moment we toured the venue and throughout our email correspondence, Susan provided outstanding customer service. She was confident, responsive, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping me make the right decision for my wedding. I never once felt like I was being sold to - just genuinely guided. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The grand staircase is stunning and immediately stood out to me. Valley Country Club isn’t your typical country club vibe. In fact, I put off touring the venue since I assumed it wouldn’t match my style. It’s tucked away on the edge of a neighborhood, which gives it a sense of privacy, plus ample parking for guests. And the bar is so cool! Coming from someone who doesn’t care about football at all, this is something guests will remember. When I asked about alcohol options that weren’t listed on the menu, I was told they could accommodate special requests and price them accordingly. Pricing-wise, this venue is extremely reasonable - honestly the biggest bang for your buck of any venue I toured in the area. Susan also gave fantastic advice on what add-ons I would or wouldn’t actually need based on my guest count. For example, I assumed I’d need a pop-up bar in addition to the full bar for cocktail hour, but she reassured me that it wouldn’t be necessary for my number of guests. I really appreciated her honesty, especially since it would have saved me money. The grounds are gorgeous. I toured in December, and even then the trees and grass were surprisingly vibrant. The ceremony space, with its tree-lined backdrop, offers so much creative freedom for florals and décor. You can truly make it your own, which I loved after seeing some venues that felt stylistically limiting. One important note: you’re required to have a professional coordinator (not a guest), and Susan offers her services for this at a very reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Susan for this. All in all, Valley Country Club is a beautiful venue with amazing value, flexibility, and top-tier service. Even though I didn’t end up booking due, I would recommend it without hesitation.

experienced, incredibly competent, and genuinely funny—but most importantly, she made us feel completely at ease on our wedding day. We met with her a couple of weeks before the wedding to plan out the details, and her worksheets and guidance were tremendously helpful when coordinating with our other vendors. Susan truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect. As a vegetarian, I’ve grown used to receiving lackluster meals at weddings and was fully prepared for that to happen at my own—but Susan insisted we change the pasta entrée to something I actually loved, which meant so much to me. Minutes before the ceremony, I noticed a single ugly fake green leaf on our otherwise beautiful wedding cake. I mentioned it to Susan, and she made sure it was gone immediately. Her dedication didn’t stop after the ceremony either—one of our friends lost a very expensive diamond earring during the wedding, and Susan went back the next day and found it right away. I’m sure she handled countless other behind-the-scenes details that we never even had to think about, all of which helped the day run smoothly. We also absolutely loved Valley Country Club as a venue, especially for our November 2nd wedding. The Mansion has a classic, moody, romantic feel that was exactly what we were hoping for—beautiful, elegant, and timeless. The candlelight, fireplaces, and cascading staircases created such a warm and magical atmosphere. The outdoor grounds were stunning for the ceremony, and we really appreciated that the venue already had so many of its own decorations, meaning we needed very little additional décor. The food was delicious as well—we continue to hear rave reviews from our guests, especially about the crab cake. Susan and Valley Country Club made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We are so grateful for everything Susan did and would recommend both her and the venue without hesitation.

al place. Once we entered the mansion, it became clear that this was it. We canceled the rest of our venue appointments! Susan immediately made us feel like family. She showed us around the historic mansion and gave us the history of the estate. Each room was more beautiful than the next, The priceless antiques and heirlooms combine perfectly with memorabilia from the glory days of the Baltimore Colts and their legendary defensive tackle (and late owner of VCC) Art Donovan. The place exudes a feeling of comfortable elegance. As beautiful as it is, the staff is the real star of the show. Our wedding coordinator Susan was fabulous - and had an knack for taking the stress and worry from us! She was a joy to work with. The servers and bartenders provided stellar service. The food was incredible. Our wedding was simply perfect. Thanks to Susan, the Donovan family and the entire staff for helping to give our daughter and son in law the wedding of their dreams.
