compliments on the DJ Jason that is included with this venue. The day ran so smoothly and perfect thanks to the owners as well!! To this day, people still talk about the venue. We used a caterer that is frequently suggested through them as well, Jon with Smack Your Momma Catering, and that was delicious! Overall, I would highly recommend this wedding venue!!!

Our wedding day was smooth and effortless thanks to Valley View for all the help with the set up and take down of decorations. They were also a huge help by calling all vendors and coordinating with them the time they needed to be at the venue on the day of the wedding. The venue is beautiful and I feel so grateful to have had them there to assist on the big day!

Valley View Farm’s history began in 1905. After being built, it operated as a carriage trading center. Over the years, the property changed hands several times and was used for many different purposes. It received an extensive renovation in recent years, bringing it out of the 20th century while still maintaining its vintage charm. Included in every rental is the venue’s historical barn. Decorated with a range of antique ornaments, this location offers a unique backdrop to your wedding day event. Additionally, a quaint, fully-furnished 1900s farmhouse with a wrap-around porch is available for use. An outdoor stage area boasting a custom barn wood archway and white lattice backdrop offers a wildflower-surrounded space ideal for intimate ceremonies.
At Valley View Farm, they want it to be about you and your big day. In this light, they offer a range of service offerings and exclusive packages to ensure all your needs are met. Each collection is tailored to fulfill any requirements, depending on the amount of input you might necessitate. Here, an experienced event planner is provided to you, ensuring that your vision for the big occasion is understood and implemented to perfection. Similarly, an in-house DJ service is included with every rental, along with a sound system and speakers. A horse-drawn carriage can be arranged at your request, allowing you and your loved one to arrive at the event in a fairytale fashion. Importantly, ten percent of the hiring cost of this venue goes to Butterfly Angels, a non-profit organization that offers support to local bereaved parents.

Jason Tennant
Valley View House DJ
Jason has served as the DJ for countless weddings since starting his mobile DJ business, Jay’s Jukebox, in 2003. After 16 years of traveling the tri-state area, Jason was thrilled to take up permanent residence at Valley View Farm.
A 1997 graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, PA, Jason graduated in 2001 from Waynesburg College (now Waynesburg University) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication where he focused on Sports Broadcasting and Sports Information.
Jason worked for 10 years at WANB Radio in Waynesburg where he was best known as the host of the Afternoon Show and a sportscaster. At the end of 2009, Jason helped form GreeneSports.net, a website dedicated to Greene County high school sports. He still acts as its Operation Manager, while also announcing various games and maintaining the website.
He currently resides in Canonsburg, PA with his wife Leslie, son Noah, and daughter Hannah.

From the day I first contacted them, I spoke with Christy & I honestly felt li...
ke I'd known her all my life...lol. Caitlin is the same. They answered the many questions I had & assured me that we would not have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding, that we would be able to just enjoy the day and that is exactly what happened! I literally did NOT have to do ONE thing except enjoy the day with our daughter & now son-in-law (they were married November of 2024).
They have a preferred vendors list of which we used some of them. The caterer, the beverages/bartender, cookies and hair & make-up stylists. Every one of them were fantastic!! And, get this...they have an in-house DJ, Jason, so we didn't have to worry about that. He was awesome!
At Valley View Farm, they took care of the linens and ALL decorating...we didn't have to do anything but, take our stuff to the venue...they unloaded & set everything up. At the end of the night, they tore everything down & loaded it in our vehicles.
The day of the wedding, our daughter & the wedding party got ready in the renovated schoolhouse. There was plenty of room & had any amenity we needed...it is so quaint & pretty!
The whole time, Caitlyn & Christy would come in & check on us to see if we needed anything.
They took all us over to the venue in golf cards when it was time to go. They worked up a timeline for each & every minute of the day. All went smoothly...there were no hiccups.
The wedding & reception went perfectly! Most importantly, our daughter & her new husband were very happy with it all. Although both were nervous, it had absolutely nothing to do with Valley View...just the "Wedding Day Jitters". We received so many compliments from family & friends - all were quite impressed!
Last but not least, the venue is absolutely gorgeous!! You may think of it as a country-themed venue BUT no matter what your theme, Valley View Farm will work! Our daughter's theme was definitely not "country", it was "Til Death" themed.
I just can not say enough about Valley View Farm! Christy, Caitlin and their entire staff work together like a well-oiled machine...we needed it, they got it, simple as that!
I highly, highly recommend them - they do not disappoint!

They even went as far as tying my bow tie for me since I nor my groomsman knew how to. a helping hand, be a listening ear, and do what needed done to make our day perfect! I could not and would not recommend a better venue, staff, and setting. Atmosphere and attitude says a lot about a space and when walking into their barn, you feel the love and support in the air. For all I know, the sky could have been falling while we were getting ready and I would never be told because Christy and Caitlin make sure that the day is as smooth for the bride and groom as possible, and will never approach you when something like that needs attention. They proactively take care of what needs handled in order to avoid causing added stress to you. By the end of the evening, they had helped pack everything away before I could even blink! I wish that I could put into words how much our experience with them meant to us. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I have them to thank for that. If you’re looking for a naturally beautiful, laid back, rustic setting with great people to work with, Valley View Farm is the place for you!

The venue itself was stunning! So much variety in one space and the atmosphere requires so little decoration to take this spot in a lot of different directions. It felt bright and magical with a very comfortable and natural warmth.

ied here on 08/12/2023. The day I toured the venue, Christy, sat with us for 3 hours just to answer all of our questions. We looked at 2 more venues but I knew my heart was set. All throughout the wedding process they answered all of my questions and helped me whenever I needed.
The day I got married they jumped into action and brought my vision to life! They helped decorate, they checked on me to make sure everything was going well and helped with all of my nerves! I wanted a sparkler send off and they made sure it happened!! It was a very rainy night and they stood at the breaker just in case the lights went! All of these little details just show they truly care about you and making your day as special as possible.
It is a family run and owned farm, and the family all pitch in to help! They have an on-site DJ, parking coordinator, someone manning golf carts to help elderly/ disabled people around the farm, and a wedding coordinator (Caitlin is INCREDIBLE).
I would get married here over and over again.
By the way when you book, be sure to get the horse drawn carriage! I felt like a princess!!

truly cares about making your day so special and one you will never forget. I personally had a family emergency during my wedding weekend and they were sure to take that extra step and help in every way they could to make the weekend so smooth. There is truly no better place to have a wedding! Wish I could relive that day over and over again!

stepdad grew up in Waynesburg - basically farm neighbors with the Orndorff’s, so it was really cool to see him light up as soon as we walked in for a tour. We got married on Sept 16th and everything was beyond expectation. The weather was PERFECT as well which made our day even better. Caitlin and her mom do everything they can to make sure you don’t have to worry about a thing. They use their own DJ (Jason) who is wonderful, and they recommended our caterer who has his own smoker on the property, and it was hands down the best food I’ve had in my life! Valley View team really has it all figured out. They all work together and work behind the scenes to take care of everything. I would 100% recommend them again and again. Christy and Cailitin helped me thru the entire planning process, all the vendors they suggest are amazing and they made sure my day went perfect they handled anything that came their way, like cutting and serving my cake. If you are looking for a barn venue that's breath taking and treat you like family then look no further then Valley View.

le. Caitlin and Christy make the best team. They both were there every step of the way, responding back to texts and calls all hours of the day or night. Also solving some of our uncertainties in an instant! They made our wedding day a breeze. Helping set up wedding day (including unloading our cars without hesitation!), checking in at the bridal suite, maintaining all the vendors that come in and out, keeping up to schedule for timing, breakdown after the wedding. You really feel like family there and not just another wedding that was booked. We also were so touched of the Butterfly Angels: The McKinley Anne Foundation and symbolic glass window pane, as is held close to heart for some family members. We couldn’t have been happier of how our wedding day had gone. Please visit the barn and you’ll fall in love just like us, and don’t hesitate to book! id we know until we met Christy and stepped inside of the barn what beauty awaited us. The barn venue inside and out is ornamented with beautiful wood and farm memorabilia, beautiful lights, an awesome bar, stage and dance floor. Christy and her family were incredible to work with to achieve the dream wedding my wife and I had imagined. We booked with excitement and the planning went very smoothly. Christy and her family were extremely responsive during the time leading up to the wedding and were absolutely incredible in working/handling the event. The exclusive DJ Jason was awesome, the staff that christy recommended were awesome, her family is the best! We brought in our own caterer and some other staff, and the event went perfectly! I can’t stress enough how beautiful the barn is (inside and out), and how truly wonderful it was working with Christy and her family. We felt like family the moment we booked! We had around 200 guests and everyone had an incredible time! Being two levels, there are lots of ways things can be handled but we made decisions together with Christy and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect event! We love Valley View Farm and the Orndorffs! I highly recommend VVF, Thank you so much for a wonderful and beautiful wedding!
