I had my wedding on September 6th of 2025, and it was the best day of my life! We were able to have the entire venue for 3 days which was perfect to host the rehearsal dinner and the welcome party. My wedding was not big, around 100 people and it was the perfect size for that. The owners were amazing in assisting with anything we needed, and the venue coordinators were also exceptional. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a countryside wedding, and wants extreme flexibility as well as lodging. The venue also comes with a huge farmhouse that can sleep over a dozen people, perfect for a bridal or bachelor party. This venue was worth every penny.

From touring the spaces to communication and perfecting our vision for the day, this team did everything to make our planning experience easy! Our wedding guests will not stop raving about the beauty of this location, which is nestled among the rolling countryside of Honesdale. This team keeps the spaces meticulously decorated, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this venue to make your luxury farmhouse chic wedding dreams come true.

The renovated, Instagram-ready farmhouse and two-story barn are ready for your special celebration. You can make this country setting the backdrop for a truly unforgettable wedding day. Valley View Venue was established in 2022 after a labor of love and a true transformation. The 1860s barn and farmhouse was originally intended to be a family retreat, and now is a stunning state-of-the-art venue for weddings and other special occasions. This property is available for private weddings, retreats, and rentals, seven days a week. The barn venue overlooks rolling hills and can accommodate up to 150 people. Outcropping windows show off this view even inside, while you and your guests may enjoy plush seating and customizable lighting. The entertainment suite, two stories high, allows you to relax on your big day. Wheelchair access adds more convenience and comfort for all guests. Valley View Venue can host your wedding ceremony, whether single-faith, multi-faith, or non-religious. It is also available for elopements, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, vow renewal ceremonies, and second weddings. On-site accommodation can be booked with the gorgeous farmhouse, renovated to include five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. It also features two full kitchens, two laundry suites, and ample living areas. This facility is included with your venue booking and can serve as lodging for up to 14 people. The property also features an organically-grown orchard, a flourishing organic potager garden, and free-range, organically-fed chickens.

ly personalized experience. My husband and I had a very specific vision for our wedding day, and Darla along with the entire staff brought it to life beautifully. One note to keep in mind: we hosted about 130 guests, and while everything worked out perfectly, it did feel a little snug. If your guest count is larger, that’s worth considering. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend Valley View Venue—it was everything we hoped for and more.

They worked hand-in-hand, not only with my planner, but my vendors as well. All of the vendors that I used for our wedding speak very highly of Valley View. backdrop for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having access to the entire property from Friday through Sunday. This was such a dream, as it allowed us ample time to set up, personalize the space, and ensure every little detail was perfect for our special day. The property managers, Darla and Herb, went above and beyond for us. Anytime throughout the planning process, whether we needed measurements, wanted photos, or even wanted to practice our dance, they made themselves available and worked with our schedule. Their flexibility and kindness truly made a difference and took a lot of the stress out of planning. After meeting the wonderful owners, we’re even more confident in recommending Valley View Venue 100 times over. They have such a vision for the property, and we know it will only continue to grow and evolve beautifully. We couldn’t have imagined a better place for our wedding and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a picturesque and accommodating venue!

The ease of being able to rent the farmhouse next door made a worlds difference as well. Everything was so clean. The vendors loved the ease of venue and communications with them.
