Valley View Venue was established in 2022 after a labor of love and a true transformation. The 1860s barn and farmhouse was originally intended to be a family retreat, and now is a stunning state-of-the-art venue for weddings and other special occasions. This property is available for private weddings, retreats, and rentals, seven days a week. The barn venue overlooks rolling hills and can accommodate up to 150 people. Outcropping windows show off this view even inside, while you and your guests may enjoy plush seating and customizable lighting. The entertainment suite, two stories high, allows you to relax on your big day. Wheelchair access adds more convenience and comfort for all guests. Valley View Venue can host your wedding ceremony, whether single-faith, multi-faith, or non-religious. It is also available for elopements, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, vow renewal ceremonies, and second weddings. On-site accommodation can be booked with the gorgeous farmhouse, renovated to include five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. It also features two full kitchens, two laundry suites, and ample living areas. This facility is included with your venue booking and can serve as lodging for up to 14 people. The property also features an organically-grown orchard, a flourishing organic potager garden, and free-range, organically-fed chickens. Valley View Farm and Venue - A Perfect Place for Your Celebration We had the pleasure of hosting our 50th anniversary party at Valley View Farm and Venue in October 2024, and it was nothing short of amazing. This intimate barn venue, nestled in the picturesque farmlands of Honesdale, PA, is a gem that offers a perfect blend of charm and functionality. From the very beginning, everything was seamless—from planning and booking to the actual event. The venue comfortably seats up to 125 guests and is designed to meet every need you might have for a special occasion. The property itself is breathtaking, with stunning fall colors that created a magical backdrop for our October celebration. One of the standout features of the venue is the beautiful farmhouse, which sleeps up to 14 people and is available to rent for events. The moment we toured the house, we were smitten—it felt as though it gave us a warm hug. It’s the perfect space for close family or friends to stay and enjoy a cozy yet elegant setting. The ballroom in the barn is both rustic and sophisticated, offering a unique charm that elevates any event. The venue package includes tables, chairs, and table linens, along with a variety of gorgeous furniture items that truly make your event special. Darla and Herb, the property managers, were exceptional. Their support and availability from the planning stages all the way through to the end of the evening were invaluable. They ensured every detail was taken care of, and their dedication made the experience even more enjoyable. Valley View Farm and Venue exceeded all our expectations and created unforgettable memories for us and our guests. Our experience at Valley View Venue was absolutely amazing! The property itself is stunning and beautifully brand new, set in a gorgeous location that made for the most incredible backdrop for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having access to the entire property from Friday through Sunday. This was such a dream, as it allowed us ample time to set up, personalize the space, and ensure every little detail was perfect for our special day. The property managers, Darla and Herb, went above and beyond for us. Anytime throughout the planning process, whether we needed measurements, wanted photos, or even wanted to practice our dance, they made themselves available and worked with our schedule. Their flexibility and kindness truly made a difference and took a lot of the stress out of planning. After meeting the wonderful owners, we’re even more confident in recommending Valley View Venue 100 times over. They have such a vision for the property, and we know it will only continue to grow and evolve beautifully. We couldn’t have imagined a better place for our wedding and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a picturesque and accommodating venue!

From top to bottom everyone at VV was so amazing! The day of was so chaotic and everything was going wrong (nothing to do with the venue/staff) but Darla and Herb's unending patience and kindness made such an incredible difference for us. Our guests are obsessed with the venue, as are we. The view is amazing!! The ease of being able to rent the farmhouse next door made a worlds difference as well. Everything was so clean. The vendors loved the ease of venue and communications with them. The physical place is 10/10 hands down recommended, but the people who are a part of it really truly make it the best! Thank you guys for everything! Have your wedding here, you won't regret it!!!!
