I originally booked with VAMP Beauty in July 2025 and was very excited to work with their team for my wedding. Unfortunately, the experience quickly turned frustrating. They had no...
problem taking my deposit, but when it came time to schedule my trial and actually communicate about services, I was met with complete silence.
I made several attempts to reach out and received no response. With my wedding now only two months away, being ignored by a company I had a signed contract with left me with no choice but to terminate the agreement and start the stressful process of finding a new makeup artist last minute.
The lack of communication and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Weddings are time-sensitive events, and vendors should understand the importance of responding to their clients. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution any bride before booking with this company.
BEWARE! I booked VAMP back in June and paid for all my services in full and have been completely ghosted. I had my trail set for September and it was canceled last minute and resch...
eduled for 100 days out of my wedding. The communication fell flat and you can’t contact Chelsea via phone, text, email etc. all forms of contact bounce back and are invalid. I now need to find a new artist and file a claim to try and get my funds back.
PLEASE BEWARE. I have been trying to contact this place to schedule my wedding trial hair and make up for over a month without response. I have emailed, called, and even gone to th...
e address posted — there is nothing at the address. My wedding is now two months away and I have had no response despite my multiple attempts. I am now seeking a new hair and make up artist urgently. Mind you, Chelsea was very quick to respond when booking me, sending my contract, and receiving my payment in full. I am currently seeking all avenues to receiving my money back.
Unfortunately, we are having to cancel our contract with VAMP Beauty less than two months before our wedding due to their failure to uphold our contract. I reached out to them four...
times over the course of a month, and they failed to respond to outreach or schedule a trial appointment. During this time, my VAMP Beauty client portal has been deactivated, and I am no longer able to view my past invoices, contract, or upcoming payment details. Additionally, it has come to my attention that, according to the Oregon Health Licensing Office, both their esthetician (inactive June 2024) and cosmetology (dormant August 2020) licenses have lapsed or become inactive. It was not an easy decision to cancel my hair and makeup artist less than 8 weeks from my wedding, but after multiple recent negative reviews regarding unprofessionalism (in the last 3 months) and the challenges I have been facing with their poor communication, we were left with no other choice. I reached out to them one final time one week ago, requesting to cancel my contract and seeking a refund for the $800+ I have already paid due to their failure to provide services. Everyone I spoke to about the situation (wedding planners, other vendors, friends, family) agreed that it was rife with red flags and that this company cannot be trusted. Since that final email, I have only received one short message trying to schedule my trial a month late and with no acknowledgement of my other messages. I do not post this review lightly, but I would hate for another bride to be put in this terrible situation. Hopefully these issues do not persist and that other brides are able to enjoy their services, but I cannot in good conscience recommend VAMP Beauty in any circumstances.

ly understood what I wanted during my trial and on my wedding day and executed perfectly. I felt like myself but elevated which is exactly what I asked for; the makeup and hair turned out so beautiful! She made me feel very calm and relaxed at my wedding and they stayed ahead of schedule the whole day. Would highly recommend!!!

good and they were so helpful with every email. The trial went well and on the day of, they were punctual with their time, they were so warm and friendly, and they were able to do the hair and makeup that everyone wanted. 10/10 recommend! Thank you Jayne for doing a superb job!!

Beautiful wedding part hair and makeup and unique and elegant bridal hair by VAMP beauty! They were extremely gracious with me (the bride) as I added and changed my requests for th...
e wedding party over and over again. They showed up on the day-of early, were extremely fast but thorough, and I can honestly say that everyone in my wedding party (including our grandmothers) was so pleased with their professional hair and makeup. I had a bridesmaid that wanted full face glam and others who wanted a softer more natural look - VAMP can really do it all. My advice is just be vocal with your desires and they will deliver. Only negative is my bridal hair fell out during the ceremony, but I was dancing pretty hard and they are only human, not miracle workers! I was very picky with my bridal look and went to at least 4 other bridal beauty consultations trials, and VAMP was WAYYYY above the rest. Would highly recommend VAMP beauty and would use them again.

id a wonderful job with my mom's hair and make up. My makeup and hair lasted perfectly throughout the whole day (10am to 11pm) and was the exact "natural glam" I was wanting. I would highly recommend Chelsea. She was very professional and sweet as well. She followed the set timeline exactly as well (in fact, she was both early to the venue and finished both my mom and me right on schedule, maybe even a tad early!)
So happy I booked Chelsea and the VAMP team for hair on my wedding day. They were professional, efficient, and everyone looked fabulous. I was very impressed with the vintage curls...

nces. I was SO happy with my hair and makeup and the most amazing part was that it all lasted throughout the 95 degree weather! Chelsea and her team were on their feet in a not-so-cool barn during a heat wave, doing hair and makeup for hours. They were all rockstars and I'm so happy they were our beauty team! Would recommend 10/10!

ing vendor I worked with. Replanning my wedding in the middle of a pandemic was stressful especially as some vendors were very unhelpful. This was not the case with VAMP Beauty. One conversation with their coordinator about my options set me at ease; they were so willing to work with me to make sure the day still turned out special. Chelsea was my favorite vendor to work with. I highly recommended her.
They were fantastic! Everything I had ever dreamt for my bridal make up. Talented but most importantly asked what I wanted and listened

and the look each of us wanted and make it a reality (from those of us who were makeup pros- to those who never wear makeup) I would highly recommend Vamp Beauty for your big day.
I loved the makeup that was done for my mom, mother of the groom, and two bridesmaids. Chelsea was efficient, well equipped, affordable, and professional. I would hire her again!
