We shared our Spotify playlist with requests via the online platform, and David used that to create the perfect set! Multiple guests commented on what a great job he did. A good DJ can keep the music playing, but a great DJ will read the crowd and respond accordingly, and David did just that. He kept the energy and engagement until the very end; he was professional, and extremely helpful with the small details. We had a great experience and would highly recommend him.

He was so organized and got all the details to make our day go so smoothly. He and his tech were constantly checking in with us to make sure that they were doing what we needed. They were great at reading the room and playing songs that the crowd loved. The energy Collin brought to the day was just indescribable! Every song he played he looked like he was having the best time as well. He really made our day and we had SO many compliments about him! doing a father daughter dance my husband and I did a memorial dance. Bentley asked us several times if we wanted to do a standing tribute moment of silence. We told him at every time we did not. Day off, he did a standing moment of silence which caused several guests to complain they couldn’t see anything happening. There were a few instances were we had set specific instructions like this that did not go quite right. We also found out at the end of the night that he was charging for song requests. Had we known prior to the event we would have taken care of it and told him not to ask guests to pay for a song request. It was just surprising to us because this had never been brought up to us that song requests would be charged and we did talk about wanting guests to request songs. He also sang us a song at the end of the night. He has a nice voice, but it was just a bit awkward. He also had never heard of playing single ladies for the bouquet toss and that was a bit awkward in person day of as well. However, the dance floor was packed all night, he kept us on time, checked in with us when helping coordinate with other vendors about decisions, had a very up beat personality, and made sure to play every song we requested and even made sure we were on the dance floor before playing them. All in all the day was a lot of fun. I do recommend this company as a DJ. We also did the photo booth and that was amazing! The attendant was so wonderful and everything ran very smoothly!

We had guests partying on the dance floor the entire night! The only thing I would want people to be made aware of is the "Must Play List". You tier the songs you want played at your wedding during the set-up meetings and this is the highest priority tier. Event though it says must play, it isn't. We had songs on the list that weren't played, but we knew it was because Keith does his job well and kept people on the dance floor. We were fine with it since we requested any songs during the dancing that we absolutely wanted to hear, so I would recommend that everyone does the same even if you have them on a must play list. All in all though, it was a fantastic experience! Anytime we ever need a DJ again, we're hiring Van Rixel and Keith!

We felt so relaxed going into our wedding day knowing Mason would be playing music for us to walk down the isle to. He was awesome at getting the crowd hyped and out on the dance floor. The kids absolutely LOVED him. He even last minute played a father/daughter mother/song song even though we had initially told him we didn't want that. I was so impressed that without skipping a beat he asked me what song I'd like for the dance and did it for us. Great value, best atmosphere creators, and super friendly. On our wedding day, Luke did a great job adhering to our timeline and corralling guests when needed. We had a high energy group and Luke was able to keep everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. He played a majority of the songs we requested and played guest requests if they were in line with our style. We would recommend this vendor and Luke to anyone.

They made planning the entertainment and music portion of our ceremony and reception easy and painless. Their online portal is great because you can put all of our music requests on there for the DJ to review before your wedding date. Our DJ, Luke, was amazing. Very nice guy, easy to work with, kept the dance floor rocking all night long and played a good majority of the songs we had requested. He also kept an eye on our schedule and kept the night on track so we didn't have to. During the ceremony, he also worked well with our officiant so he knew when to cue music. All around a great experience with Van Rixel Productions. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rolando was the perfect gentleman and went above and beyond to make our day special. He checked in with us regularly throughout the day to see if we ever needed anything, including setting aside our choice of desserts for us to eat later, and getting us drinks! He also did an amazing job capturing the music styles and general feeling we wanted for our night of dancing. We had so many guests compliment the music telling us how great Rolando was. And we couldn’t agree more! If we ever need a DJ again we know where to look. We can’t thank him enough for all his hard work, professionalism, great music, and calm demeanor that helped make our wedding day so special!

This meant endless non-American names, ceremonial songs, instrumental songs being timed to certain parts of the ceremonies, and music in multiple languages (Telugu, Hindi, Farsi, English). David was honest with us and told us he hadn't necessarily worked in all of these languages before but he was up for the challenge. To say David went above and beyond is an understatement. It's been almost six months since the wedding, and we still have Indian, Persian, and American family & friends commenting on the DJ at our wedding, not just at the reception but during our ceremonies as well. To put this into more context, my husband and I weren't able to give song suggestions until a few days before the wedding and David took those suggestions, found even more songs, and crafted the best party & dance floor energy we could have asked for, bringing friends of all ages, young cousins, older relatives out on the dance floor until the very end of the night. He seamless melded Hindi, Telugu, Farsi and English music together in a way that kept the party going. David also went above and beyond working on name pronunciations. He asked us for audio recordings of all the important names that he would be announcing and practiced them on his own time and with us before the day of our wedding. We couldn't be more thankful for David & the Van Rixel team! They truly did an incredible job.

Our DJ and MC for the evening, Brian Dorn, was superb and handled everything with great professionalism while simultaneously ensuring everyone had great fun. Our crowd had a great range of ages and musical tastes, but he ensured everyone was happy with the songs and ceremonies and kept our evening on time and gave everyone appropriate introductions. His service demonstrates the high quality of Van Rixel Productions' team.

I HIGHLY recommend all brides fill that out to a T, as I ran out of time with everything else going on and maybe put in 30 of the max 60 songs you can enter on your web portal (for must play, play if time, dedication songs, and do not play). That ended up with our DJ playing some songs were didn’t love, which was fine, I just had to go ask him to switch it up. But their online setup prior to your wedding is so helpful, and I wish I had time to utilize it more. Our DJ also asked if we wanted to share a Spotify playlist with him he can go off that for ideas/suggestions. I didn’t have time to make that either but was a great idea! There was one snafu with our slideshow equipment we rented not be available for our entire 6 hour night (the DJ needed the computer back) but the company was very quick to address this issue and very understanding. Overall I would definitely use them again if given the opportunity! The sound quality was amazing, wireless mics worked great, and they were very easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

ew they were the DJs we wanted for our wedding. Meeting our DJ and talking about or day, we knew we hired the right people. They were all about providing a seamless and stress free day. Coordinating the day for us and with vendors, everything went perfect. Our DJ had everyone on the dance floor all night long, kindly room requests from guests and beautifully handled our music for a choreographed dance. I would recommend them to everyone who wants a professional DJ who goes more than providing music, they help run the whole day. Thank you for a wonderful day and night!

were fortunate to have both David and Bentley as our DJ's. Everything was very professional and we had zero issues. One really nice touch was Bentley singing a song for just us on the dance floor. They did a really great job and helped make our day special.

Shortly before our actual day, our DJ experienced an emergency that made him (quite understandably) unable to DJ, but my husband and I never had to sweat it, because VRP immediately had Anthony available to step in. Anthony did such an incredible job during our ceremony and reception, and was so easy to work with! Really, I have only positive things to say about the team over at VRP.

they worked well with my photographers and the venue event coordinator. my only small complaint was I had to ask about meeting my dj at the one month mark and which dj I was assigned to and I wish they would have been a little more on top of letting me know this information. They had no problem sending me a bill promptly at one month but I had to ask for the meeting that was supposed to come with my package. However. once I did ask for that meeting and got the ball rolling they were FANTASTIC. I would definitely recommend them.
