Based on the very brief description I gave, they created the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, archway flowers, vases, and more with all the colors we wanted incorporated in our Fall wedding. The hints of sunflowers in my bouquet and on the archway were stunning and I am thrilled with how everything cam together. Their team was able to discreetly move the ceremony flowers to the reception and Alexa was able to map it out for me perfectly so I knew exactly how it was all going to look. Most of the floral quotes I was getting early in the process were way over budget for us, but because Vanda Floral Design has a minimum and Alexa works closely with you on exactly what you want, we were able to stay within budget and still have the beautiful flowers we wanted!

ich was the day after our in-person design session and another the week of the event. She made it seem like neither was a burden, which was so nice. The day-of crew was kind, thoughtful and competent, which put my mind at ease. My vision was brought to life by the Vanda team and the arrangements turned out beautifully. My only feedback would be to have examples of small, medium and large bouquets in the design session. My medium bouquet was quite heavy and I could hardly fit my hand around the stems, which made walking down the aisle arm-in-arm with my Dad, then my new Husband, a bit tricky. Otherwise, though, I was very pleased with their work, price point and people. I would highly recommend for an event in the wine country region. Thank you, Vanda team!!!

She was able to take the details I provided and really make our wedding vision come to life. One thing I wish I had considered more carefully was the beautiful flower crown that Vanda designed: we should have planned to pick this up earlier on the day of the wedding to sync better with the timing of my hair and makeup. It was delivered with the other floral arrangements and my stylist was already preparing to leave. This isn’t on Vanda, but a tip for any brides or bridal parties considering flowers as part of their accessories on the day beyond a bouquet.

I was brought to tears when I walked into the venue on the day of and saw them setting up - they brought the vision to life and it was just stunning. They are incredibly talented professionals and we were so so happy!

They’re an extremely experienced group of folks, and throughout our wedding planning, we always felt like Vanda was on top of things. That’s the best thing you can ask for in a wedding vendor! ers had all the colors, variety, and movement that I was hoping for! I also had a number of very specific requests during the discussion phase, none of which were overlooked by Vanda. For example, I had wanted a protea in my bouquet but only one that was partially open so as not to dominate the bouquet - that is exactly what they gave me! I had wanted sprigs of olive to be added to the cloches housing our table numbers - on the day, there they were! My mom had only wanted certain colors in her corsage - Vanda delivered! Even more, I had actually sourced garlands from another vendor and asked if Vanda could add florals in and move them from the ceremony site to our dinner tables. Once situated for dinner, I asked if they could then add extra greenery to the ends so it looked like the garlands cascaded onto the floor from the tables - they were more than happy to oblige even though it meant staying later and repurposing the garlands! Additionally, copper was one of our wedding colors so I asked them to wrap the bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres in copper wire - they did so but took it a step further by using copper wire when attaching arrangements to chairs and other fixtures. It was something I didn't even think to ask, but they did it anyway and went above and beyond to keep everything cohesive! I feel like there were so many opportunities for mistakes to be made or for things to get missed, but Alexa and Vanda didn't miss a step! Trust me, on your day, it's so helpful to have experienced vendors you can count on! I was so happy to have Vanda on my team and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality florals with great customer service.

Their portfolio has a huge range of styles, and they were so attentive to working closely with us on exactly on our unique vision. They are also super responsive and flexible with making changes and updates, which was really reassuring throughout the process. Their prices are very transparent and reasonable. There were SO many flowers in my bouquet – I ended up getting it preserved and the woman who dried it kept remarking about how big the bouquet was!! We had originally sent them a bunch of inspiration photos and when we went in to review a sample arrangement they absolutely knocked it out of the park. We made some very small changes and they were reflected perfectly on our wedding day. I literally shrieked multiple times when I saw the final bouquets and installations on the day. Everything was beautiful! We got married at Deer Park Villa which is a naturally stunning, lush venue, and we were excited for the floral design to also feel natural, organic and integrated elegantly in the space. For the bouquets, centerpieces and boutonnieres we wanted lots of different textures, movement and tiny details. The team incorporated lots of different floral elements while still keeping it all feel coherent and consistent. And one of our favorite parts was the greenery that they installed on the tented roof where we had cocktail hour – it made the open-air porch feel even more intimate and elegant. We asked quite a few vendors about draping the greenery, and Vanda was by far the most laid-back and reasonable about making it happen! We are so grateful for the Vanda Floral team for making our day even more beautiful and stress-free!

And on the day of my wedding, the floral designs and details were so incredible and exactly what I had envisioned in my head…but even better! The arch took my breath away and our guests could not stop talking about it! Even the event manager at our venue said it was one of the more magical designs she had seen. In addition to that, Vanda is super cost effective. I felt that Alexa didn't try to upsell me or push anything on me. When I gave her my budget and what I was looking for, she worked with me and even suggested several different options to stay within my budget. Compared to other florists, Vanda was very approachable and reasonable. Thank you Alexa and Vanda for bringing our dream to life for our wedding!

Their team was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding day and we were able to add arrangements to our proposal a few weeks before the wedding day, once we had finalized our layout and knew exactly what we needed. I ran into one hiccup with their team on our wedding day--during the booking process, I had specified via email that I did not want protea in any of our arrangements, received a confirmation back that the protea would be removed (and received an updated proposal with no protea mentioned in it), and then come to find out on my wedding day that my bouquet (and other arrangements) included protea. As a mildly stressed bride, I had a small, tearful breakdown when I saw the protea. Thankfully, the Vanda team was still on site setting up our other floral installations, and as soon as our wedding planner notified them about the protea problem, they removed the protea from my bouquet and all other arrangements. I am appreciative that they rectified the issue.

des, you NEVER want to feel that way on your wedding day. I 100% regret choosing Vanda as my wedding florist and definitely would not recommend going with Vanda for your wedding. The ONE THING that I've requested out of all the flowers I've ordered was to include a king protea in my bridal bouquet, and it was specifically noted in my order form to have a king protea as the focal point. The individual who I worked with, Alexa, told me that sometimes king proteas are hard to source, so I said I would be willing to settle with a queen protea. Come wedding day, I saw the bridal bouquet in the morning and thought it was a bridesmaid bouquet since it didn't include the king protea as noted in my contract and the size was much smaller than expected. So I had my coordinator reach out to figure out what had happened and to have it resolved before the first look, ceremony, etc. The rationale Vanda had provided was that they had saw the king protea at the flower market but based on their "creative liberties", they decided not to purchase the king protea and went with, instead, regular, small proteas that were not even bloomed. They further rationalized that I mentioned I didn't want the bouquet to overwhelm me, since I'm more on the petite size, but the bouquet I received wasn't even the size I had wanted. I don't know any other vendors who would made an executive decision to change the bride's vision for their wedding. What made it worst was that none of this was previously communicated, all the way up to the wedding day. Alexa and the team knew from day one that I wanted a king protea and a bridal bouquet that fits me, and at no point did they mention a king protea would be too overwhelming. And the fact that they saw the king protea at the flower market and made a decision FOR ME to not purchase it even though that was the ONLY flower I had requested, is unacceptable. They have my number and they have my email, so if they weren't sure what I would prefer, they could have easily called or emailed me. But I didn't even get a chance to make the decision for myself for MY wedding. And even after they made the decision to forgo the king protea, they didn't call to follow up to make sure I was okay with the change to MY vision of MY bouquet. At no point did Alexa or her team reach out to apologize on how they SINGLE-HANDEDLY RUINED MY WEDDING DAY, even though they knew how frustrated and disappointed I was at the bouquet. I even saw Alexa and her team at the venue while I was taking pictures and they didn't even acknowledge me. They tried to "fix" the issue to add more small proteas in the bouquet, but again, that's not what I had ordered, and unless they had a king protea, none of this could have been fixed. And at that point, we had already taken the bridal pictures. On top of that, I would say half the flowers came delivered looking half dead, so they did not use the freshest flowers. While this may all seem trivial because of a missing king protea, in the context of 2 years of planning for a perfect wedding and a wedding being a once in a lifetime experience, not having what you had specifically requested, lack of communication, and leaving a bride feeling helpless on her wedding day cannot be forgiven. I loved our flowers so much that the morning after the wedding, we went back to the venue to collect all of the arrangements and brought them to our hotel room for the few extra days we were in Sonoma. My wedding bouquet was an absolute dream. They couldn't have made it any more perfect and I was brought to tears when I saw it. This told me they heard me and prioritized making sure I had exactly what I wanted. I even made a few last minute changes during our final call and of course, Alexa heard me and executed this vision flawlessly. I cannot recommend Vanda Floral Design enough, especially if you want to feel comfortable knowing you are getting a fair price and can leave your day in the hands of a team you can trust.
