I had a very specific vision for my wedding photographs and Vanessa brought that dream to life. Everyone we have shared our wedding album with (which has been a lot of people) has ...
been extremely impressed. She highlighted all of the natural beauty of the space around us in a way that far surpassed my expectations and truly feels magical. Her photos feel earthy and natural in a way I haven’t seen in other photographers. I know that we are going to treasure these photos for a long time to come. I also really liked how she let the day flow really naturally without getting in the way, and she helped us feel at ease for the portraits, which helped me ease any nerves.
Vanessa Lain is an amazing wedding photographer! We chose her because of her gorgeous portfolio and how confident and easygoing she was during our consultation, and we are so glad ...
we got to work with her! She was so professional, friendly, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Vanessa was great at putting us at ease and coaching us through our engagement shoot. And on our wedding day, she did an amazing job capturing our ceremony, portraits, and reception, as well as tons of beautiful detail shots. We love all of our photos, and we cannot recommend Vanessa enough!
Vanessa was so amazing to work with. I had seen her previous work and I loved her style which translated so well to my wedding. She was professional and sincere and made our day to...
tally chill. She worked elements that meant a lot to us into our photos, and brought out so many fun emotions of everyone involved into her work as well. Vanessa is a one woman photo machine and we seriously love everything she shot for our special day. She made our portraits so unique and I can't wait to stare at them forever! Thanks so much Vanessa!
Vanessa Lain Photography! I mean wow! We are so grateful that we chose her as our wedding photographer. We were married in the Santa Cruz mountains and she blew us away. The light ...
was always changing, because of clouds and trees, yet she knew exactly what to do and when. She directed us and made the entire process seamless. When it was time for the reception she blended in with our guests, we didn’t even know she was there! We have the BEST wedding photos with fun shots of everyone and couldn’t be more pleased. Our wedding day went by fast, so we are glad we went with such an amazing and professional photographer. We love the memories captured by her. Thank you Vanessa!
Vanessa was AMAZING! From the first time talking on the phone, I could tell that she was incredibly professional, detail-oriented, responsive, talented, and easy-going. She makes y...
ou feel like you're the only wedding she has all season and always responded to quickly to any questions that came up. During the actual wedding day, she was so organized and on top of every little detail we had asked for beforehand yet brought this calm energy at the same time, which was so important to us during the chaotic day! The end results were AMAZING and we honestly didn't think it was possible for the pictures to turn out so well. She captured such beautiful, funny, and emotional candid shots that helped us relive our special day. Thank you for everything Vanessa, 100% recommend to any future bride/groom!
Vanessa did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and they all turned out fantastic! I think my husband and I were a little nervous at first, but Vanessa put us at ease...
immediately. When it came to the day of the wedding, I don't know what it was--lack of sleep, lack of food, stress, all of the above--but I just wasn't feeling very well and so I felt like I missed key portions of the night. I was pretty upset about that, but as soon as I got the photos back, all of those feelings subsided. Vanessa got EVERYTHING. Everyone and everything was represented, everyone looked fantastic and like they were having a blast. I'm so glad that we have these and SO thankful we chose Vanessa. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful, unique, and just cool photos of their day.
Vanessa is a rock star. My husband and I are not supermodels - he is uncomfortable in front of a camera and I am overly-animated. Somehow Vanessa managed to put us both at ease a...

I really can't say enough about Vanessa. My husband and I loved working with her. She took our engagement pictures and wedding pictures and at an amazing price, worth every penny. ...
Vanessa has a great personality and is I think one of the best photographers out there. I would recommend her to everyone.
It was a friend of a friend's boyfriend's friend sort of a deal that led me to Vanessa. She was excellent....easy and relaxing to work with.
Early on in the engagement we saw a...
couple at a coffee shop talking to a wedding photographer. The photographer seemed overbearing and fake. The couple looked uncomfortable. We hoped our experience wouldn't be like that, but maybe you had to go through that to get good pictures. Well, Vanessa was NOTHING like that. She was a doll...with an artist's eye.
Within a few weeks after the wedding see gave us thousands of pictures and they are beautiful. For a little extra she would have made an album for us....if you have it I would recommend it. Her albums are exquisite. Her packages are reasonable and include another photographer.
Check out her website an blog. You'll see.
