The only reason I give 4 stars is that they have a minimum for deliveries. It would have been nice to have it delivered instead of having to transport it myself. Altogether it wasn't a big deal but would have made it easier on the bride!
Vanilla Sugar Bakery did our wedding cake and it was unbelievable- we must have had at least 20 people say it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. They were a delight to wor...

I cannot rave enough about their cakes - you can taste the quality of the ingredients. AND you can go back to the bakery to get a free small cake for your anniversary. No year old frozen cake! Can't beat that.
At the end of every wedding I always look for the cake so to have the best tasting wedding cake was one of the most important part of planning my wedding. Not only did they create ...
on of the most beautiful wedding cakes (that had no fondant and was beyond impeccably smooth) all of our guests are still raving about the flavor. We went with the Wedded Bliss which is a sweet almond flavor and Raspberry Cheesecake which was absolute perfection.
I cannot emphasize that VSB should be a the top of every couples list if not the only one on their list!!
Our cake was beautiful and delicious. It was exactly what we ordered

We decided on cupcakes as the dessert for our guests and boy am I happy we did! We ordered 50 more cupcakes than our guest count and they were all gone! People couldn't get enough! They not only did they look great, but they tasted even better! There are so many flavor options offered and every single one we tried was delicious. I would 100% recommend and will definitely use in the future!
Our wedding cake from Vanilla Sugar Bakery was beautiful and delicious! Norma created the exact cake we had in mind and our guests loved it :)
Norma baked the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake. It was a big hit with all the adults and kids at the reception.

y filling and buttercream frosting. We had 64 people total at our wedding, our cake served 100 people and at the end of the reception the wedding cake was gone!! Everyone should get their wedding cake from Vanilla Sugar Bakery!
All I can say about our wedding cake is O.M.G.! My husband has dairy and soy allergies, so I was really stressed about finding a bakery that would meet our needs. Norma did an abso...
lutely wonderful job of giving me my options, explaining everything, and delivering the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to have it again for our 1-year anniversary!

avor - white almond cake with white almond frosting. My mom, who loves cake more than anyone I know, also said it was the best cake she's ever had and one of our groomsmen, who is a professional chef, said he ate 4 pieces because it was so good! I'm so glad I can stop by their bakery for every anniversary to get cupcakes in this flavor too!
Seriously zero stars. Don't use this bakery. I thought the price was fair. By no means cheap. Cake was not great. I love sweet, everyone knows I have the biggest sweet tooth. And t...
his was insane pure sugar basically no flavor. The cake looked great very plain white texture like I wanted. EXCEPT it was missing a very big detail! MY BEAUTIFUL CAKE TOPPER we hand delivered it with our signed contract, it was clear, there was no problem with our cake topper. Not only was it not on the cake, but it wasn't delivered, nor was there anyone to contact to find It! On top of that I'm on my honeymoon and took time to email and they have not responded!!!!! Worst service ever. I thought this was a professional bakery. Was I wrong.
Vanilla Sugar Bakery is amazing! They did our wedding cake and grooms cake. For the groom's cake I had a bit of a special request. I wanted to incorporate 2 of my husbands favorite...
things and asked if they could create an R2D2 in a chicago blackhawks jersey. It came out so great! For not having any photos and just ideas of what i was looking for, they nailed it! The husband loved it. And the wedding cake turned out gorgeous and exactly like i described of how I wanted it. And not to mention the flavor. For someone who is not a huge cake fan, the cake was so delicious! It was moist and just delicious! They were so great to work with and will definitely be a return customer for any future sweets purchases!

My guests are still raving about how beautiful our cake was and dessert table looked and tasted!! Some of our guests had some allergy restrictions and were floored when they received a small dessert box to accommodate their needs - again so much care and detail with everything. Since my wedding my friends and family have made this bakery the only one we choose. Absolutely recommend them for everything!!
