ding. From the beginning of the planning process through the last song of the night, Kyle was INSANELY AMAZING. Working with him leading up to the wedding was genuinely fun and easy. He uses an app called VIBO, making the planning process so simple. We could add all of our song choices, select the exact versions we wanted, record important details, and add songs to our playlist from our phones whenever inspiration struck. It made communicating exactly what we wanted so fun and easy. Kyle also handled the lighting for our ceremony space, and it looked absolutely incredible. At one point we got nervous that we hadn’t ordered enough lighting, and Kyle and his team were able to easily add additional lighting to our package for a very reasonable cost. The extra lighting recommended was PERFECT and made such a difference. He also provided sound for our outdoor ceremony, which was far  away from the reception space. He had everything needed to make that work flawlessly, and we didn’t experience a single glitch or hiccup. He made sure our ceremony exit was perfectly timed and synced with our song choice, our reception introductions were AMAZING and perfectly timed, and he even edited our first dance and parent dance songs down to the absolute perfect moments of each song. Every transition felt intentional and seamless. Kyle didn’t just DJ our wedding, he guided our guests through the entire day. He knew exactly when to make an announcement, how to keep things moving, and how to create the right energy without ever taking over the moment. Then we got to the reception and saw his setup. HOLY. SHIT. It looked like we had hired a real-life club DJ. The turntables, sound system, equipment, the entire setup was SO impressive. Then we noticed the digital display he had customized specifically for our wedding with our Harry Potter theme incorporated. It was such a thoughtful, personal surprise and blew us away. THEN came the dancing. Our guests were simply not worthy of the talent Kyle brought to that dance floor. He played banger after banger all night. Not just the songs we had specifically requested, but incredible mixes that he had created himself. He dropped a mix featuring the Bill Nye the Science Guy theme song, and suddenly every millennial in the room was transported back to elementary school. People were jumping, fist-pumping, and screaming “BILL! BILL! BILL!” 😂 Then he pulled out a Law & Order: SVU theme song mix and the entire room absolutely LOST IT. We HAVE to mention the Harry Potter dubstep mix he made. We went completely NUTS for it. It was everything we could have wanted for our Harry Potter wedding and even better than we imagined. This was the third wedding in our family this year, and Kyle was EASILY the best DJ. His talent, professionalism, creativity, communication, attention to detail, and ability to read a room are on another level. We cannot thank Kyle and his team enough for making our wedding so fun and giving us a night we will never forget. If you’re getting married and considering DJ Chamber Guy, BOOK HIM. We promise you will be in incredibly good hands. Kyle — thank you for absolutely CRUSHING IT. ities and our friend groups, we knew that music and dancing would be of the utmost importance, so we wanted to find the right DJ for us! Through the recommendations of our wedding planners (Prince Pellman Group), we met with three DJ service companies in the local Albany region. We first met with Corey, the Director of Client Relations from Empire State Events. Corey was so efficient at getting back to us in such a timely manner that we met with Empire first. During our meeting, we made a fun connection and it helped us imagine exactly what our wedding could look like, and he already had a DJ in mind for us who’d be a great fit for the tone of our wedding. We met with another company the next day, and the first thing I said to my wife after that meeting was, “Can we please cancel our third meeting and just go with Empire?” And we absolutely did! The reasons we chose them were due to how well they already knew our venue, their high recommendation from the venue itself, and especially from our wedding planners. Even though other DJ services were less expensive, the package we chose offered services like a somewhat custom playlist (I loved this because our DJ understood our taste in music so well that he played songs that were so hype at the right moments, and we didn’t even put all of those songs on our playlist!), uplighting, and a photo booth, which would have been added on fees for the other companies, making our decision even easier. Corey then connected us with our wedding DJ, Cody, aka DJ Gigabit! After getting to know us better in the months leading up to our wedding through a questionnaire and a few video chats, we experienced how professional he was in communicating with our wedding planners and other vendors. He was just so kind that we were more than confident in Cody going into our wedding day. Through amazing microphone and speaker sound quality and his MC abilities, Cody created the greatest and most fun environment for everyone. I kept having people tell me on the dance floor how amazing the DJ is! Throughout the wedding, Cody checked in on us and made necessary announcements that made it so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Neither of us left the dance floor for more than ten minutes total the entire night! We are so thankful for Cody and Empire State Events for being a huge part of making our wedding the best night of our lives!

omend anyone at Empire State events, Thaddeus was incredible and really helped our dream come to life. We have been planning our wedding for just shy of two years, and Thaddeus was available the whole time despite planning so far in advance! All of my friends and family have commented on how much fun they had especially with all our music choices which were curated perfectly by Thaddeus! We received the photobooth with our package which was a hit as well. I truly didn’t want the night to end as it was a perfect day, but mostly because the dance floor was packed and everyone wanted to stay even longer. I would do that day over and over again if I could because it was truly so much fun. Their planning app made things a breeze and it could not have gone any better. Thank you all so much for making our day so much better!
