We took private dance lessons with Jamie for our June 2026 wedding. It was a fantastic experience! Jamie made the process easy-going, comfortable, and fun! We loved having a prepar...
ed dance for our big day and truly enjoyed learning to dance together.
We had private dance lessons (for our first dance) with Jamie, and it was my favorite part about wedding planning! I was so nervous I would be a horrible dancer, but Jamie knows ho...
w to structure the dance lessons for your skill level and comfort. Our lessons continued to build off of each other and we got better and better! It was so fun. We loved her studio. It was also wonderful that we got to do one rehearsal at the wedding venue so we were ready for our first dance. Thank you Jamie!!
BEST MONEY SPENT and easily the best decision we made while wedding planning!! We had no intentions of taking dance lessons until noticing an awesome Groupon deal for lessons at Va...
rgo’s. The Groupon was extremely reasonable and offered three private lessons, so we decided to give it a try! Within the first 10 minutes of our first lesson we Jamie, we were HOOKED! Neither of us had any dance experience, and Jamie was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and fun! We were so blown away by her knowledge, skills, and coaching - she offers great cues and progressions each lesson! We decided on continuing with a 10-pack of private lessons and take 1-2 group lessons each week as well. Jamie choreographed a perfect, individualized first dance for our wedding, and we cannot wait to show our friends and family on our wedding day! Again, I cannot stress enough that this was the best money spent! Dance is a life-long activity that you and your (future) spouse can continue forever - it’s worth it!
I talked my husband into getting some quick dance lessons in, so we would look good for our first dance. Jamie was our instructor and she was fabulous! She took us in on short no...
tice and worked around our frantic schedule. She took the time to make sure that we were comfortable and knew what were doing. Excellent instructor and totally worth the price.
My husband and I decided to take private dance lessons for our wedding. We took advantage of the groupon available for Vargos. It was a great value! However, the lessons were so go...
od and we may have not practiced as much as we would have liked so we ended up paying full price for our last lesson and it was definitely worth it! We were not looking for a full ballroom routine but rather just enough to not look like we were swaying on the dance floor. Our instructor completely understood and was able to help us reach our goal!
I found a great deal on Groupon for Vargo's for 2 lessons and it was well worth it! My husband and I were both pretty inexperienced dancers prior to our lessons, but Debbie was abl...
e to help put together a dance for us to do for our wedding. Our guests were pretty impressed with our choreographed dance, and although I was hesitant to take lessons at first, I am SO glad that we did. We loved working with Debbie and would definitely like to try out some of the group classes that they have at the studio.
My husband and i really loved taking dance lessons at Vargo! We tried 4 other studios in the st.charles/elgin/hoofman estates area before deciding on Vargo. They are truly the best...
. The instructers are so friendly and talented! We were so impressed! The prices are very similar to other studios in the area but you get a far better experience.
My husband and I decided to take dance lessons in preparation for our first dance at our wedding. We found Vargo's and had Jamie as our instructor. I cannot say enough good things ...
about Jamie! She is so sweet, and we were always laughing and enjoying our time with her as well as learning our dance. She really made it a special and enjoyable time for us that even though it was for our wedding, it was also a nice little break for us as a couple. We looked forward to our lesson every week and we really miss lessons and Jamie now that it is over. We had so much fun we can't wait until we can come back to Vargo's. Everyone was so blown away by our first dance and it is something I will cherish and take with me forever. Cannot thank Jamie enough.
Vargo's Dance was great! My fianec and I are not natural dancers and they worked with us to get a first dance that is going to look amazing. They have great teachers that are pati...

We had a great time using a 5-lesson Groupon to learn a first dance at Vargos. All the teachers we worked with were knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn...

We have been attending classes at Vargo's dance for over a year and even after our wedding is over, we still plan on coming for dance classes because we enjoy it so much. We had su...

o understand. They ended up teaching my husband and I a harder dance because we picked the steps up so quickly. They are extremely friendly and patient. My parents now actually are regulars here.
Thanks Vargo's!
Vargo's is the place to go for dance lessons. Not only are they reasonably priced, their teachers are wonderful too. My husband and I went to have our first dance choreographed. We...
both have 2 left feet. After the first class, we already knew the basic steps and were able to do them well. I was amazed. The people at Vargo's treated you like students and not like a number or a paycheck. We recommend Vargo's to anyone who might want to learn to dance for any reason.
