We had a blast with variety DJ!! They listened to and executed all of our requests without flaw, and gave us the playlist of our dreams! My friends raved about them and kept asking how I found them. We also did a photobooth through them which guests absolutely loved, and looking at all the files helped us relive the night. Thank you, Variety, for giving us a great party!

We saw Variety Music at a friends wedding in 2021 and instantly knew we wanted to use them for our own wedding. We had Ray as our MC and Tom as our DJ and they more then lived up to their first impression during our own wedding. Ray keeps everything under control as an MC and his centerpiece giveaway games are always enjoyable. Tom made a playlist with a perfect blend of songs to match mine and my husbands different musical styles. Even the songs that were played that were not on our request list were hits with our guests. Ray/Tom were very easy to work with and easily accommodated the unique requests that my husband and I had for our wedding. I would highly recommend them for a wedding and hope that one of our friends follows what we did so we can attend another wedding with them as DJ/MC!

Variety was amazing for my wedding in July! Great communication and they were very organized and on top of things. We had Sal as our MC and our dance floor was packed the whole night. Could not have asked for a more energetic, professional group.

Variety Music did an excellent job at our wedding on 11.5.22! We had an absolute blast with our friends and family hanging out, singing, and dancing. The DJ and crew made the night flow well, helped make speeches and ceremonial moments easy, created a chill dinner vibe, and then switched to an excellent dance party vibe. We got a good mix of what we wanted music wise and some smart additions. We were very concerned about having an overwhelming crew who wanted the spotlight, but our crew was awesome at stepping up when we needed them and fading back when we didn't. Would definitely recommend this company to others and will come back if we ever have another event we need a DJ for.

East Wind has one of the biggest dancefloors I've ever seen at a venue, and the Variety team kept it packed all night! They have so many options to make your day awesome. We had a sax player and a drummer, as well as cold sparklers and zap photography. Everyone on their team was so sweet and so accommodating. They kept the party going even when my husband and I stepped off the dancefloor, which can be hard to do. They played a great mix of hits, and the live music was out of this world. The transitions in between the songs were so smooth and they didn't miss a beat. We had a few wedding DJs attending our wedding, so we wanted to pick a DJ who would impress, and they definitely passed with flying colors.

The music is one of the most important parts of your wedding. Tom (DJ), Ray (MC), Justin on the drums... ENOUGH SAID! They exceeded my expectations. If you're getting married, you NEED this trio. The music was bumping and nobody left the dance floor. A month later from my wedding and I'm still getting texts from people about how good the music and atmosphere was. I also had a steel drummer for my cocktail hour. From the pass around props, and music, to their setup. They were a total WOW factor! These guys were energetic, professional, and made my wedding perfect! All I can say is, you need Variety Music for your event!

All around amazing experience. From working with Ray and Tom and getting all the details ironed out, to the amazing musicians and staff that made our day flawless, we'd recommend Variety to anyone and everyone. Want to give a special shoutout to all those involved: Sal our MC and Christian our DJ - our guests have not stopped telling us how much they enjoyed these two. They were so professional and easy to work with and really just took our wedding to the next level. We also had Vinny and Paul at our ceremony, playing the piano and violin respectively. And Ed and Nick at our cocktail hour. The musicians were so great and so kind. We were so happy we added all four of them to our day. The music was perfect. With our wedding day being the most important day of our lives thus far it was nice working with a company that respected that and enhanced the overall experience.

We couldn’t be happier with the work done by Variety Music on our wedding day, 10/1/2022! We worked primarily with Ray and Tom who were easily accessible, responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic at all times. For us, our wedding playlist was extremely important, and something we had been working on for quite some time. We had specific songs that we requested as “must plays” and we requested all the music played at our wedding to come directly from our playlist. Tom and Ray made it clear that if it was important to us, it was important to them too, and they followed through with all of our requests!! Not only that, we wrote specific introductions for the individual members of our bridal party with a different song to be played for each. Ray and Tom did an exceptional job with this and it was a huge hit! Ray even practiced the introductions for some time to ensure they went perfectly and they absolutely did, he did an exceptional job. With Tom as the DJ and Ray as the MC, our wedding was a blast, the energy was always up, and people were dancing the whole night! I would definitely recommend paying the extra money to have an MC in addition to the DJ. Overall, I would highly recommend booking Variety Music DJ Entertainment for your wedding, exceptional work at an extremely reasonable cost!

Damian & Kristen G Variety did a wonderful a job from start to finish! The strings and the steel drummer made the ceremony and cocktail hour perfect. Variety music is amazing! We used two of their live musicians (Harp player and steel drums) for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were both great. During our reception MC Serg and his DJ killed it! They kept our guests on the dance floor all night and played everything we requested to hear. We highly recommend Variety Music!

Variety Music was great! We had Gerard as our DJ and did the photo booth through them as well and both were absolutely amazing! All of our guests were raving about what a great time they had. Gerard took all of our requests and made any announcement I needed him too! Can’t say enough good things!!

Variety Music is awesome. After speaking with Ray on the phone back in 2021 for our 2022 wedding, I knew right away that they would be perfect. We wanted specific plays/do not plays and they completely understood that. Throughout the wedding planning process, Ray or Tom were always available via e-mail/phone. They were very prompt in answering and that’s always key when you are planning a wedding. We had the steel pan drummer/percussionist Howie and were able to add percussion to our reception with no issues. We were also able to change things last minute and everything was easy with no mistakes made whatsoever. I came in to our meeting before the wedding with a long play list and “ do not playlist”. I was worried about being judged for my craziness, but Ray was totally cool with it . When I called a few days later to talk to Tom to add a dance , based on our conversation, I could tell he actually went through the playlists and didn’t just brush it off. That meant a lot. He was also really enthusiastic about the 90s stuff we wanted played, and that just made me confident, when everything else about the wedding made me so nervous, that they were going to do a fine job. As for the day of the wedding, it was perfect. All the songs I gave them for the ceremony and reception were played with no error. Ray and Tom came up to me and double checked with me on everything. People were on the dance floor all night, and if they weren’t on the dance floor, they were at the photo booth (also from variety ) , who gives you a scrapbook to take home with the pictures (hilarious alternative to a guest book) and gives you the files via e-mail (still laughing at these pictures nearly 2 weeks later). Ray was an excellent MC who the crowd adored and he was very interactive. He suggested a game which I never thought to do but it was so fun to watch and I really enjoyed it. Tom crushed it as the DJ. I could tell he loves his job and is very passionate about what he does. They all are really. Everyone was dancing, singing, sweating, including me. Our voices were gone from singing. Howie was such a vibe. I didn’t get to see him playing the steel pan at the cocktail hour, but he was amazing on drums and let us as well as my little niece and my uncle play drums too. The photo booth attendant was very friendly as well. Basically, if you LOVE music and the DJ is the most important vendor at your wedding, RUN to book Variety. I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for wedding entertainment.

These guys are awesome !!!! We had 250 people at our wedding and they were up dancing the entire night ! The steel drum at cocktail hour was a hit and Howie even let our guests play the drums during the reception. Run don’t walk to book them !

Ray and Tom were the best and a complete pleasure to work with. I previously worked in this industry and did not appreciate the attitude and salesy nature of some of the other DJs we interviewed. These guys were just down to Earth, nice people. The song selection was perfect and they did a great job of keeping everyone up on their feet all night without being “too much” for an older crowd. Thank you Ray and Tom for making our wedding a great success! We received so many compliments on the music and we would not hesitate to recommend or use you again for future events.

Overall we had a very positive experience. The DJ played the type of music that we wanted, not typical wedding songs. They were also able to play special cut versions of songs that we requested. The only negative was that they accidentally played the wrong song as I was walking down the aisle but it was an honest mistake.

Variety Music, Ray and his team are amazing! From start to beginning they have been awesome to work with! They provide amazing entertainment, and a truly exceptional experience. Such an awesome MC/DJ team - they did my brother's wedding and I had such a great time I booked them for mine! Tom was my DJ and Ray was my MC, every part of the planning process was easy and fun. They are super nice and quick to respond, and they don't make things complicated, which is a breath of fresh air in the planning process. At my wedding they read the crowd well and had tons of unique ways to get guests onto the dance floor, I loved it and so did everyone else!

Variety Music was absolutely terrific. They knew how to keep the party BUMPING along with catering to all ages. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. Tom as the DJ and Ray as the MC were a great team! The party was so fun that Tom played for about 15 minutes after the venue turned their lights on to end the night!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Variety Music was an amazing addition to our wedding on October 9, 2021! We had a DJ provide music for our outdoor ceremony and the sound quality was excellent. We also had Howi play steel drums during our cocktail hour and percussion during our reception alongside Curtis on the Saxophone – they were OUTSTANDING! They are extremely talented musicians and Curtis was super engaging on the dance floor! We are still receiving compliments from our guests on how fun the music was. Having Howi and Curtis alongside the DJ definitely brought the party to a higher level and we loved having them be a part of our day. Variety Music is also very responsive and easy to work with during the planning process. They also are great at being able to read the crowd and play music fitted to everyone’s interests. Variety music did a great job keeping our guest on the dance floor! We’re very happy we went with them of all of our choices. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we specifically booked MC Ray and to our surprise with no heads up MC Sal showed up our wedding day. He was fantastic but still we specifically booked with Ray. Another thing that bothered me was my ceremony entrance song, it was not correct and I had no choice but to just walk out. With that being said, I still would 100% rebook with them. They kept the party alive and thriving from the beginning to the end.

We had our wedding on 8/27/21 and our experience with Variety Music Entertainment was phenomenal. Throughout the whole entirety of the planning process from booking to the day of the actual event, this team was nothing less than stellar and professional. They were timely, responsive, and experts of their craft. They gave us the freedom to select songs and they put together our vision of our day perfectly through music and entertainment. We had Ray (MC), Tom (DJ), and James (Photobooth). All three individuals' energy were amazing. We received so many compliments about the MC, DJ, and Photobooth and we would highly recommend them to anyone without a doubt and we are not surprised at all at the other amazing reviews they've received. Variety DJ was the best!!!! I got the recommendation from a friend who said I had to book them and they were right! We had a large wedding at the Watermill, and ALL our guests danced the entire night away! Sergio (MC) & Tom (DJ) were awesome to work with and Variety was so flexible with the challenges of COVID and postponing. Curtis on sax was also the perfect addition to the wedding and our guests loved his energy! Howie was also great on drums! I also recommend the sparklers which were perfect for our reception entrance. The owner Ray also helped us a lot as well! I have nothing but positive things to say about Variety, and highly recommend them!

I really don’t like to write reviews, but DJ variety did such an amazing job, they work with us to designs an amazing night. It was a nonstop party everyone was dancing the whole night and the night flowed perfectly. As Christians we had many restrictions on music but they blended our style perfectly where everyone can dance. Thanks Ray and the staff.

I really am not a 5- star person, but Variety knocked it out of the park for our rescheduled wedding. Never had to worry and everything was perfect. The success and fun of my wedding was due in large part to Ray and his great entertainment team. I would highly recommend the percussion or live instruments as part of your day too!

Variety DJ was fantastic! They were extremely flexible and understanding when we needed to change our date due to COVID, they made the replanning process very easy! We appreciated the detail they took before our wedding day, meeting with us beforehand to make sure they played music we loved and working with us to make our wedding party entries and first dance a huge success. On our big day, they kept the dance floor filled all night long with high-energy music and tons of fun! We also loved having their steel drum player at our cocktail hour, it really helped add to our tropical theme. We would highly recommend Variety DJ for all your special event needs!

After meeting with numerous other DJ companies in LI, we decided to go with Variety. Ray is amazing, always making himself available and going above and beyond. They are very accommodating and flexible with literally any request you may have. DJ: Excellent job with the song selection/timing during the course of the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception/etc. They were able to keep people on the dance floor partying all night. Saxophone: We are very happy with our decision to include a saxophone player. He was on the dance floor with all our guests and really took the music/vibe to another level. Friends said how they want a sax player with a DJ at any future events they attend.

Worth every penny! Ray and Sal at Variety played a huge part in our Wedding Reception being a special event. Sal, our DJ and MC for the event, was professional, knowledgeable, and a great overall entertainer. Variety has shown the talent and experience to keep the party going, even when problems or issues may arise. Sal and Variety took the time to incorporate the song requests we made, and helped keep us on schedule, at times knowing our schedule better than we did. We signed up for the basic one DJ/MC package, and that was great, but had we known how good they were, we would easily have gone for a bigger package, now believing it could have just helped the party feel even bigger and better. Nevertheless, Sal was integral in making the event the special experience it ended up being. Our wedding was held as COVID-19 restrictions were started to loosen, and even though it was a small event, Sal helped the event feel 10x bigger than it was. For many guests, this was the first event and/or gathering they had attended since the lockdown, and the praise for Sal was overwhelmingly positive. We would easily recommend Sal and Variety for your wedding of any size and speed. Thanks Variety!

The most incredible DJ and MC!!!! Listened perfectly to every single one of our requests, played the best music, kept the party going, I legit have zero complaints. Couldn’t imagine having had a better DJ for my wedding.

Variety Music deserves all the stars!!!! Our wedding reception was the most amazing party because Variety Music kept the energy going and made the night flow so well. My guests had to be dragged from the dance floor at the end of the night. I have gotten endless compliments about Variety Music. DJ Tom and MC Tay are such a dynamic duo! We met with Tombefore the wedding to go over everything and he was so thorough. He was so awesome and genuinely seemed excited for us and pumped to DJ our wedding. Anything that I asked, he replied of course and he had done crazier before! They make you feel so at ease. Ray does this awesome game at the tables to get people dancing after dinner and it was amazing and hilarious to watch too. Many of my guests complimented that specific game and how awesome our DJ andMc were at the end of the night. They know how to keep the dance floor packed! Would hire them in a heartbeat!

Amazing!!!! We used Tom and Ray as our DJ/MC, and we had the band pieces including drums and sax, violins for our ceremony and live acoustic singer for our after party. We were over 225 people and they kept people up and dancing. Everyone RAVED about all of them. The sax really added that extra touch we were looking for. They pulled out all the stops! They had confetti bursts and sparklers that really made our party stand out. What they played was exactly what we wanted too. Highly recommend !

We booked them as our DJ, MC, and to do the room up lighting. Our MC was Ray and the DJ was Tom. They were both great to work with and kept the party going all night.

They were amazing. We had a DJ and MC and everyone was dancing all night. We are more into rock music and they mixed all genres really well. We also had the electric violinist and she was amazing! Our guests were raving about her.

Best and easiest decision ever. Variety music kept the energy high and everyone on the dance floor!!! You must hire the zap photographer!!! He took incredible photos and you can never have enough pictures of your special day. I also hired strings for the ceremony. Everything was incredible from start to finish. Best DJ, MC, and percussionist EVER. Our guests were dancing all night and my husband and I got to play the drums. The dj played our whole list of requested songs and the additional songs were perfect. So happy we chose them to be our dj. Also had the photo booth which was tons of fun. The guitarist we had at the cocktail hour was also amazing. If you are looking to have a fun time where all of your guests are up dancing, then variety music is who you should pick! My husband and I had an exceptional experience working with Variety Music. Tom was our DJ and Sal was our MC. Sal was articulate and fun when it came to announcing our wedding party and organizing games with our guests. Tom kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night from my grandparents to my parents friends to our friends. Tom played every song on our list that we provided him prior to the wedding at our last meeting as well as a couple of extra songs that fit with the genres of music that we like. He read the dance floor well and changed the music based on who was dancing at any given time. I would highly recommend using variety music for your wedding!

We had Tom and Sal for our DJ and MC and THEY WERE AMAZING! There was not one bad song played the whole entire night! We met with Tom the week before and he totally understood our style and music type and did not let us down! They are adorable and professional company. We also used the photo booth from them that was a big hit! They put together a scrap book and gave us a usb of photos at the end of the night. Everyone had such an amazing time because of the music and the way Sal interjected at all the right times!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Sal and Tom and the whole company. They were one of my favorite vendors from the first time we sat down with them. The whole process we just felt so comfortable and felt that they truly understood what we wanted for our wedding. The night of they exceeded our expectations. Tom and Ray were Amazing!!!! Our dance floor was packed the whole time and they did a great job blending both of our music tastes together. It wasn’t over done or to much at anytime and everyone complemented on the music the whole night. Everything from start to finish was a pleasure and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Our acoustic guitar player during cocktail hour was great and so was the photo booth attendant. Not a bad word to say!!!

We booked and communicated with Tom and he was incredible. Always answered any emails and calls, always kept us up to date with that we needed to do and always remembered who we were when we saw him at bridal expos! Serg was our emcee and people can not stop talking about how incredible he and the music was. We wanted more a club/Spanish vibe and they absolutely delivered. Played all our requests, transitions were spot-on, and they kept the floor packed all night. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Tom and Ray did a fantastic job with our wedding. Tom hit all the music we requested and Ray got everyone up on the dance floor. Our guest were dancing all night and we heard nothing but great things about it from our family and friends. Prior to our wedding Tom was easy to work with and very receptive to all our requests. Ray is a great MC. He got all our family and friends going, even those who never dance got up and danced at least a little. We were very happy with the job they did. No regrets with having Variety DJ our wedding.

We first saw Variety perform at a wedding showcase and were blown away by the percussionist, Justin! We met with Ray the next week and booked Variety for our wedding immediately - 2 years in advance! It was one of the best decisions we made. The ENTIRE wedding (200 people) were on the dance floor for all 4 hours. I have been to manyyyy weddings and have never seen guests have more fun! Sal was our MC and he did a great job - not too much talking- just enough. Justin, as I mentioned, was our percussionist and we could not have been more impressed. Not only is he a ridiculously nice guy, he is beyond talented and had every guest entertained and in awe all night. He even signed drumsticks for us at the end! My guests are still raving about the DJ and percussionist from my wedding. And for that, I thank you Variety!

When we met with Tom, we liked him immediately! He was so nice and got to know us instead of just trying to make a sale. He ended up being the DJ and Ray was the MC. They were awesome! They had everyone out on the dance floor! We would definitely hire them again for any event!

I cannot put into words how happy I am to have found Variety music. But I’ll try so here it goes... My journey with Variety music started about a year and a half ago. I was recommended to them by a family friend. She raved about how wonderful her experience was with Variety. The level of professionalism was evident throughout. They walked me through all the steps and exceeded my expectations. They had everyone on the dance floor, even my 85 year old grandmother who walks with a cane.

Absolutely amazing, still have people raving about them and the percussionist!!! Everyone wants to book them now. Best DJ company out there.

What a great job Ray & Tom did at my daughter's wedding!!! She wanted her wedding to be a big dance party and that's exactly what they gave us! They played all the music she requested!! My son-in-law's family is Russian and they played the music that they requested also! My only request was that the music be toned down while our guests were eating dinner so people could talk to each other and they did exactly as I asked. They also provided the music for the ceremony (a pianist), which my daughter loved as she walked down the aisle and a saxophonist for the cocktail hour which was perfect. We also asked them to provide the photo booth which was so much fun!! I would highly recommend Variety Music for any party!!!

Variety did a pretty good job for us. We did get a string trio through them, and they were even honest enough to tell us that a quartet was unnecessary with our amount of guests. We didn’t love the music that they actually played based on what we requested, but it wasn’t bad. People were definitely still dancing, but we probably would have liked it a bit more if they had chosen music similar to our “top 10”.

Tom and Sal were INCREDIBLE!!!! Everyone says that their wedding is the best day of their lives, but Tom and Sal and Variety Music were essential in making this true for us. They got the party going and kept it going all night! We received so many compliments on the music and the party saying it was the best wedding our guests have ever been to. Out of all of our vendors, I can say Variety Music was the absolute best!! A pleasure to deal with, priced appropriately, and created an amazing time. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. :) Thanks guys!!!!

We really can’t say enough at how awesome Variety was for our wedding on July 6. They were attentive to our guests and had them up dancing all night. I am still getting compliments about how great they were the night of our wedding. Highly recommend!

Amazing DJ! I have been to a TON of weddings, and I know that the key to having a a great wedding is the DJ and music. I made the right choice with Variety Music. They were fun and listened to us, gave us great feedback when we needed help with our playlists. My guests did not leave the dance floor, and everyone raved about what a great time they had at our wedding. I would definitely recommend them for any affair. :)

Wow- where to begin with Variety DJs! From the very beginning they were super easy to work with. We live in Brooklyn so meeting at their office on weekdays was difficult. They were very flexible about having phone consultations and always quick to answer emails. We ultimately woundup selecting Tom as our DJ and Serge for MC after attending a bridal expo and we are SOO happy with this decision! Our wedding was a blast and the dance floor was packed all night. Not only did they incorporate our personal preferences but they really knew how to read the crowd (mixed ages 20-60s). Tom even suggested some ideas on how to structure our reception that helped make our night so personal and special. This was a very non-traditional setting (backyard garden wedding at my parents) and they blended right in with an awesome rustic wooden frontboard in their setup. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Variety DJs!

I have nothing but good things to say about Variety. I got married on 6/2 and my husband and I had such an incredible time in large part due to our Variety DJ and our MC Sal. The blisters on my feet are still healing because I barely sat down the entire night! We asked them to make it a dance party and thats exactly what they did! All of our guests raved about Sal and how much fun they had. We will be sure to recommend Variety to all of our friends getting married in the area. Thank you so much!

I would highly recommend Variety Music for any event. We booked them for our wedding in April and they did NOT disappoint. The string trio was absolutely beautiful. Our guest couldn’t believe how beautiful all the songs were that they played for our ceremony. We used the DJ for our cocktail hour and reception and they didn’t disappoint! They kept the party going from start to finish. The music and lighting was awesome! Everyone one is still talking about how awesome our DJ was. Tom and Ray were awesome! I used Variety for all aspects of the wedding. We had such a great time and they kept everybody dancing. They also did a great job announcing dinner and all the special events, my guests really appreciated that. I also can’t say enough about the Sinatra singer. He was absolutely fabulous!!! My guests LOVED him and I received so many compliments. The pianist was really great and was able to play a special song that I had requested. My guests also all had a great time with the photo booth. I highly recommend !

Tom and Ray did a fantastic job! The music was on point the entire day and never felt to loud, which was very important to us! All of our guest were dancing the entire time. Great job !!

Married 09/09/2017 Everyone still talks about Howie, the percussionist. Our Ceremony singer Michael Henry, was incredible. Our DJ and MC really got the crowd hyped up and everyone danced the entire wedding. Planning a wedding is tough, it was nice to deal with such professional company. Tom, made the entire process so easy. We never felt like they wouldn't do a great job. From initial meeting, to picking out all the songs, he gave us suggestions and took his time with us. Great company and fantastic staff.

Variety DJ going into the wedding planning process was our favorite vendor. We really felt a connection with Tom and every time we met with him we felt he understood our selection and music choices. My husband, being a musician, was difficult to persuade on a DJ as he preferred a band. After much discussion he felt comfortable with Variety and felt they were the best possible DJ we could get. We were really looking forward to our special day because of the great vibes we have been getting from Tom. Well day of... Tom showed up and Ray (our MC ) almost missed our reception. Okay.. I get it things happen. Now let's get to the music selection. We asked for 90's (r&b, hip hop, pop), some newer hits, and some cultural music as my family is Italian and my husband was looking for a few Jewish dances. Well aside from the cultural music.. the rest was a mess. Tom was playin 70's hits.. which is exactly what we didn't want. We had to go over to them and ask them to change the music selection multiple times. Additionally, we had some family from our of town (Texas) and they just kept referencing them and saying "Here's one of our Texas folks" it just got old real fast. I also wanted to recognize my grandparents for being the oldest couple in the room. I gave him their names in advance.. and then during the announcement he called my grandma Vivian. Her name is Mickey? I was mortified. As much as I really felt connected in the beginning of this process with Variety, I have to say they were one of our most disappointing vendors. We believe great music makes or breaks the event, so this was especially heartbreaking for us. The one thing I will praise them on, is the musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour were wonderful.

Look no further! We used Variety Music for our November 4th wedding at The Royalton, after my sister and brother-in-law used them for their wedding a few years prior - and they again, DID NOT DISAPPOINT! To us, music at our wedding was one of the most important aspects and we are so happy we decided to use Variety Music. Tom & Ray were so easy to work with, very responsive, very reasonably priced and made it a very seamless process. At our final meeting, we went through every single detail, explained the genres of music we wanted, helped us decide the sequence of events throughout the night and everything went off without a hitch. Tom and Ray were AMAZING - they were fantastic at reading their audience and the dance floor was completely PACKED the entire night - this is exactly what we hoped for and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. We also hired Howi, the percussionist and he was a HIT! He let the guests play around on the drums, and gave the party such an upbeat and exciting vibe. We also used them for lighting and the room looked perfect and exactly what we had envisioned. You will not be disappointed!

My sister used variety music at her wedding so we knew everything would be perfect the day of our wedding! Such a reputable company. Tom, DJ and Ray, MC were amazing to work with! They were so accommodating and helpful during the planning process. Even more, we had so many compliments the day of the wedding! We know our friends and family will seek out there services!! Andrew played guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was Absolutely amazing!!! Tom was our DJ, Ray was MC and Drew played played percussions and i would recommend this combo a million times!

Variety took such great care of us from booking, to playlist, to keeping the party jumping- we had such a blast! Serge was our one man DJ/MC and he was so wonderful! Great voice, great feel for the crowd- he played all our favorites and then some! We highly recommend them for any wedding/party needs! Thank you for everything!!

Ray and his team were fabulous. It started with a beautiful string trio for our ceremony, it elevated the atmosphere and was very elegant, they played the Beatles and other cool music while the guests waited and them during the bridal party and main event it took a beautiful classical turn. Then they had a singer/songwriter for the cocktail hour with an acoustic vibe - just a warm up to the reception. Ray was our MC, had a fabulous DJ, percussionist, and sax player! I don't think I have ever seen a wedding have an entire dance floor hopping from the start to the absolute last minute of the reception. These guys are the real deal, very professional, and can read and feed a crowd effortlessly. Thank you. Kristie & Chris

What an amazing experience Variety Music provided for my wedding on October 14, 2017. One month later the guests are still raving about how great the music was at our wedding. Sal did an amazing job getting the guests up and Tom listened to every concern, request and in the end orchestrated an amazing event. Highly recommend Variety DJ to take care of any event.

I loved working with Ray and Tom on our wedding day! They played all of the songs we requested and had everyone up partying on the dance floor! It was such a fun atmosphere, everything I could have hoped for on my wedding day!

I booked Variety Music DJ for my wedding on 9/23/17 after seeing them perform at one of the bridal expos. I was amazed to see the MC could get a crowd up and moving at an event like an expo. We were even more impressed upon meeting with them in person as to what they had to offer. Tom was our DJ and Ray was our MC and it was great to get to meet with your actual DJ and MC each time you met with them. My husband was adamant about only booking a duo that we had met with so we knew their personalities before hand. Booking Variety Music DJ was one of our best decisions as our dance floor was packed all night. Tom was able to keep every body dancing to the music while Ray interacted with my guests on the dance floor. The music was perfect, and we got quite a few compliments on how good it was and that the volume of music just right. Not too loud that you can't hear yourself think yet just loud enough to keep people partying. We hired a saxophonist for during our cocktail hour, and he played beautiful, soft music. Mixing in some current tunes with the usual jazz songs. Lastly, we had a Photo Booth at our wedding that our guests absolutely loved. There was a constant stream of guests enjoying themselves in front of the camera and utilizing all the props. It was great that the attendant made us a little guestbook with the photos taken and had our guests write us a little note. That was a great personal touch that left an impression on us. If you are looking for a good DJ and MC team that will keep your party going all night we definitely recommend Variety Music DJ. They took all our tastes and concerns into consideration and really made our wedding a party to remember.

Tom & Ray did an amazing job at our wedding! My one request prior to our big day was that everyone was dancing from start to finish. To say that they made my request come true is an understatement. My guests were dancing nonstop and were having the time of their lives. They truly made our big day a success and a party that our guests will be talking about for years to come. They listened to everything we had to say and all of our crazy requests and it was a night that we will never forget!!! Thank you for everything you guys did to make our wedding reception a hit!

We loved Tom and Ray! They picked the best music and lighting. They also controlled the whole wedding timeline seamlessly with the venue. Everyone loved the little game for winning the center pieces. We would highly recommend them for any events! They know how to party!

Sal did a great job as the DJ/MC for our wedding last summer. He stuck to our playlist and highlighted the special moments. He also made sure our choreographed first dance went smoothly, which included a mash-up of two songs. We also enjoyed working with Ray beforehand to set things up and work within our budget. Definitely would use Variety again!

I booked Variety Music for my wedding after a I saw how awesome they were at a friend's wedding. We got married on 7/2/17 and had Sal as our MC. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Everyone was up dancing the entire time. They listened to our requests and were so nice to deal with. We got so many compliments about the DJ and MC. You can't go wrong with Variety music!

We booked DJ Sergio & Sinatra Singer for our July 1st Wedding. They were incredible. Ceremony Songs were blended perfectly. The Sinatra Singer is so incredibly talented everyone was amazed with his talent. They actually thought it was a recording until they noticed him singing at the top of the staircase at cocktail hour. I gave Variety a few must play songs and genres we wanted to hear. He Hit the nail on the head with his mixes and song choices - it was almost like he knew us personally. The Music was hands down the best part of my reception- Everyone could not stop dancing. I could not be happier with Variety Music- Sergio & the amazing Sinatra singer.

100% Variety music is the BEST choice! My MC & DJ were above and beyond! At my meetings with both of them they were kind, knowledgeable and funny from the start. I also used them for the photo booth services. So happy my husband and I choose them for our May 20th wedding!

We used Variety Entertainment for our wedding on April 9, 2017, and they were awesome! Tom was our DJ, Ray was our MC, and they were the perfect combination of what we were looking for. Variety came recommended to us by our venue, and after checking out other DJs, we knew that Variety was the right fit for us. After sitting down with Tom, we were blown away by how much Variety offers. We ended up adding the photo booth, live musicians, and uplighting to our package. We hired two strings players for our ceremony and a singer/guitarist (Michael) for our cocktail hour. We were so happy with their performances, and it really added something special to our day. The XL photo booth was a great way for our guests to have a little fun off the dance floor, and I love looking at my album of all the pictures. The pink and blue uplighting that we chose made an already beautiful room POP! We can't say enough about Ray and Tom; they were so professional and really got the crowd engaged. They played a great mix of music and kept the party going. We highly recommend Ray and Tom if you are looking for a DJ/MC for your next event!

There are many DJ’s that you can choose from on Long Island to help your wedding or event. There aren't many DJ’s and MC’s though that can get reluctant people onto the dance floor and hype up the crowd as Sal from Variety DJ did. Sal was perfect for our wedding as he understood how to read a crowd and changed his approached to our crowd seemlessly. We wanted to thank Sal and his staff for making our day fun and entertaining. We would strongly recommend Variety DJ to anyone planning an event.

Sal did a nice job with our music! The flow was good and he got the crowd dancing. Everything went very smoothly. They only disappointment was that he did not play a lot of the songs we requested.

We got married on 11/19 at The Riviera and I cannot thank the WHOLE variety team enough! We had Ray our MC, Tom our DJ,Howie for percussion, The Sinatra singer for dinner hour and The zap photography. They also did our cocktail hour music and up-lighting for our event space and I could not be happier!Our guest were up dancing ALL night, Howie let tons of our guest on the drums and our ZAP photographer captured so many priceless photos and not to mention that he literally photographed every single guest that was at our wedding. That's not something your regular wedding photographer does so it's nice to have those pictures to remember every person that was there that night! Ray made sure everything flowed perfectly and Tom played the PERFECT mix of music throughout the night. For anyone who enjoys Sinatra I HIGHLY recommend adding him to your package.We kept that as a surprise for our guest for dinner hour and many of them didn't even realize that someone was actually singing. That's how good he sounds!!! If you want quality go with Variety they will NOT let you down!

There are so many great things to say about Variety. Tom from the very beginning was so approachable and willing to work with our budget. He gave us a great deal, and I valued his opinion from the start. The entire process from booking all the way up to the night of the wedding was so smooth. He answered my (many) emails so quickly and gave me honest feedback with all of my requests. Tom was our DJ, Sal was our MC and Howie was our percussionist. They all worked so well together to make the music flow from song to song. I still get compliments on how the dance floor was packed all night long because the music was so great. Last but not least, hands down the best part of what Variety did the night of the wedding. They played our last song, and when the lights went on the entire dance floor changed "One more song, one more song" without hesitation Tom played Bye, Bye, Bye and everyone went nuts. I could not have asked for a better DJ to provide entertainment for what was the most amazing night of my life!!!!!

We recently used them for our wedding and they were great. So easy to work with and all of our guest dance the night away. They really knew how to get people on the dance floor and we received a lot of compliments from our guest on how great the music was.

Before the wedding I emailed Tom several times to change things that I originally wanted, he responded right away and was super accommodating. We had several people tell us "best wedding DJs ever". Tom and Ray were amazing throughout the planning process and somehow even better during the reception itself! We initially met with Ray, who walked us through different packages/options (including a photobooth!), and Tom accommodated our busy schedules closer to the wedding to hash out the details (i.e. what music the string quartet would play during our ceremony, order of events throughout the reception, providing song suggestions, being a gatekeeper on interesting song requests, etc.). They both stayed true to what we were looking for in terms of music and feel for the night, which we deeply appreciated. Music really makes or breaks an event, and I'm happy to say that Variety Music DJ far exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Tom and Ray!

Variety Music is the best! My husband and I were very specific with the type of music we wanted played at our wedding. We sat with Ray and went over everything, and the week before we sat with Tom to confirm our playlist. We wanted all "now" music. My guests are HUGE party animals and love to dance, so playing up beat music was crucial. We didn't want a lot of slow songs and wanted to keep everyone moving. Variety 100% listened to us! They played exactly the type of music I wanted. No one sat down! Our DJ had to, literally, tell guests three times that dinner was served because no one was sitting down! It was AMAZING! I am so happy with their service and have already refereed the to my friends! ***We also got the Step & Repeat instead of the photo booth and it was well worth it. Our guests LOVED it. I highly recommend it!

Tom & Ray are absolutely amazing!! These guys are a great team. Every single person at our wedding was up dancing the entire night. they know how to get the party started and keep it going. They have so much to offer and we are extremely happy we choose them!

Sal and Sergio the Dj and MC did an incredible job at our wedding on July 8th way past our expectations. They really made the wedding. Everyone had a great time and they had everyone out on the dance floor!! Howie was also very good on the drums and we loved all the action shots the zap photographer took. Variety Music provided the music for our cocktail hour and reception. We had a piano player for the cocktail hour and then a DJ and MC for the reception. They were great! They played the music we talked about and did not play anything we had on the do not play list. The MC got people up on the dance floor and made it a great wedding! I would recommend Variety Music to anyone looking for music for an event!

We loved Tom and Ray of Variety Music. Since my husband and I are both musicians, we had high expectations for the music choices for our wedding. Tom played every song we requested and kept the music within the genres we (and our guests) enjoy. He really saved the day when he offered my husband black duct tape when his shoes broke right before the reception began. Ray did a wonderful job at keeping the party going (without being over the top) and keeping the night moving smoothly. Overall, we would highly recommend Variety Music for their DJ/MC services.
